The customer service here is A1! The young lady behind the counter is awesome. She was quick and knowledgeable about exactly what I needed and set me up with a next day appointment for installation. I m very pleased with the service that I received.

I came here at 9:00 because that s what time Google states that the business would be open. Upon my arrival, the gates was down and there was no times posted for Saturday. There was a sign that said Open Saturday March 16 from 9-2. It s the 23rd. Very poor service for a Saturday morning. Please update your business hours if you won t open on time or answer the phone.

To start with you should know that I am very picky and can be hard to please. That being said I could not be more pleased and absolutely satisfied with my experience with Nick and the rest of the crew at CKR. Before the sale was excellent. Nick worked with me over a few days to get my stereo and components picked out to fit my exact needs. Install was nice, clean, professional, fast, sounds, and performs beyond expectation. After the sale has still continued to be a great experience. Honestly I cannot say enough about these guys. I believe they went above and beyond and should be recognized for it!

From the time I walked into CKR, I knew I was dealing with the right folks for my needs. I was greeted by a young lady and explained specifically what I wanted for my Ford Maverick. I showed her the vehicle and she suggested a few items that would do the trick. She was knowledgeable and friendly without trying to upsell me at every turn. I walked out with an appointment for 9am on a Thursday morning. I arrived on time and was greeted by a friendly older man who already had my ticket ready. I was told it would be a few hours, so I decided to get some exercise at Lagoon Park. Upon return, I only waited for approximately 30 minutes for my vehicle to be done! When I saw the work, I was extremely impressed with the fir, and the clean installation. The technician could not have been nicer! What a job from top to bottom. I will not hesitate to use CKR again in the future.

I went to them and spent alot money, within 2 weeks I had problems with my amp. Went back and they told me that it was my battery. I got my battery check and took my vehicle to another audio place, they told me it was a bad amp and I needed to get a new one. Of course CKR would not exchange it.

I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone! At first they wanted to over charge me for parts. A stinger 4gauge wiring online is less than $100 they wanted to charge me $150. For a SNI-35 They wanted to to pay $40 when its less than $20 online. I first brought vehicle there he quoted me $200 for labor. After I went and bought my own parts he told me I had to pay an extra $100 because I didn't buy an amp from them. A bunch of crooks they are!

The only reason I gave one star is because that's the lowest you can give. This is the worst place I have ever taken my car for audio work. To start, when I got there to drop my car off a guy called me outside to let me know that he was there for the third time because the sound kept going out after they worked on his car. I continued to let them work on my car and they kept it for two days. I already had the subs in the box along with the amp so I shouldn't have had to go two whole days without my car. When I finally get the car back they hooked everything up but didn't install a bass knob like I requested but I didn't worry I just was glad to have the car back. The subs quit playing after two days. I didn't trust them to even fix my car at that point so I took my car to a place I usually go to and had them fix it and they took pictures and showed me all the things wrong. CKR took bolts out of my trunk and didn't replace them so the paneling in my trunk was hanging, they didn't tighten down the wires to my batteries so they came off, they cracked the inside lining of my car, and they took all the fuses out of my car and only left one which could have caused my car to catch fire if that one fuse had went out. Thank God I had enough sense to get the car to a shop as soon as I could. The only reason I'm not suing this worthless company is because I was advised that it would be an uphill battle plus my old reliable company didn't charge me much to fix the car.

Ckr has been upgrading my mobile electronics for decades. This time I needed cameras on front and rear. Much easier to hook up trailer. If you have an older vehicle, CKR can modernize it for you.

Awesome experience!!!! Nick, the manager, and Ed, the technician that installed my new head unit are the best in Montgomery hands down!! I went in the store to get a quote(which was very comparable) and was very pleased with how everything was handled...Very patient, no rushing around. As well, I called back twice, once to get more information, and the other was to set up an installation time and Nick was always patient. They know how to take care of buying customers!:) I am very pleased with my new Kenwood touch screen head unit, and if I ever need anymore work done in my truck will definitely be back at CKR! Thanks!

Poor customer service.Update: The last experience I had was there was no follow up on a stereo receiver and installation kit that I was going to purchase. I will be trying CKR out again tomorrow. Will hopefully be able to adjust star rating.When I revisited, the customer service was excellent. In fact I have made my last several purchases from here.

If you are looking for a place to install dash camera wires they can do the job. I do not see the wires at all. They were professional, very nice and scheduled me right away. I would suggest you hook it up to the fuse, battery and ground yourself though. I am guessing there are so many different styles out there it would be impossible to know them all. I had them hook mine up but the camera stayed on all the time making the motion detection parking feature inoperable. It was just loop recording 24 hrs a day. I returned but they said it was correct and would shut off after a few minutes, but when I checked, it ran all night. That is hard on the memory card and hard to find when something happens because there are a million videos to look through . I drove it back home and called my daughter in Vegas. She walked me through how to find a good fuse to use. Now it works as expected and turns on and off with the car but also I can use the motion detection feature when it is parked. All the features I purchased the camera for now work.

Great Experience. I came in after a failed attempt to install speakers myself. I bought 4 new speakers and installation at a great price. It was done in just a couple of hours. They found an issue with my stereo (which I was able to put in). It turns out a part in the stereo was bad. Nick had another like it and replaced the part for free! Again, great experience.

CKR did an amazing job with my sub instillation! They worked with my schedule to get me in at a convenient and fast time, knowing they stay busy all throughout the day & week. Nick and Tyler gave me great customer service and answered any question I had. When I picked up my car, I couldn t even tell they had been in it. My subs sound great and it is a very clean instillation; Andy, Ed, and Braden did a wonderful job with the instillation and I recommend them to anyone! Go to CKR for your music stereo needs! They won t disappoint you at all.

My experience here was beyond excellent. I was assisted my Nick and he was very helpful. They didn t have the part I was looking for but Nick told where to find it and not only that he wrote down the name of the part and part number. I was very impressed because his great customer didn t stop once he realized he wasn t going to make a sale. You just don t find that very often. I will definitely be going back for any audio service needs and I would recommend their services to anyone.

I went in today to ask some questions about an install I was trying to complete myself. I spoke with Nick Bruno who went above and beyond to help me understand how to get it done. I really appreciate what he did to make the install go a lot easier. I will for sure do business with them on any other installs I might have in the future. I purchased a 2008 Suburban on a Thursday the next day I went into CKR in Montgomery and spoke with a very good and knowledgeable sales rep. He steered me to a system that would meet my expectations and set up install on Monday.I left the Suburban with them, Andy the installer had it ready and showed me how all the features worked. Driving around the next day I noticed that the local radio stations faded out . I took it back and explained the problem to the owner who listen to my concerns and assured me that they would get to the bottom of the problem. We made an appointment for me to bring it back so they told address the issue.They worked on the problem,found that the power antenna had been disconnected fixed that and when I came back to get the car the system worked far better than I ever expected! I am very happy with my purchase and even happier with the positive and pleasant way they all handled the situation. Took my Jeep to CKR to replace the backup camera. They didn't put my interior lifgtate light covers back on my lights, there is now there is a gap between my driver side vent and dash trim that wasn't there before. Also, left a grommet loose that was allowing water to leak in, broke the clips on an interior trim piece on my liftgate, cracked my dash trim trying to pull my aftermarket radio out and the wire on the camera they installed was already exposed b/c it was right against metal.Follow up on previous review. I met with Allen (owner) today and he was very polite and apologetic for my bad experience. He owned it, made no excuses and offered compensation to make it right. He earned the right for another chance at my business in the future. Thanks Allen!

I called store and explained my problem with car audio. Nick told me to drop by and he would take a look. Arrived same day and within 10 minutes problem was solved. He even tested it twice before I left. Prices are awesome. Car dealership prices to JUST DIAGNOSE was outrageous. This is the first but DEFINITELY not the last time I will do business with them. They know their stuff! Exciting to find a business that is pleasant and not trying to pay all bills off one customer.THANKS AGAIN NICK BRUNO!

When speakers started to go out in my '03 4Runner, I knew it was time for an upgrade. I went to Jimmy's but they acted like I was bothering them with the questions I had, so decided to check out CKR. My experience there couldn't have been better. The salesperson that helped me was Colin. He's a really nice guy and took time to walk me around the store and explain what different options I had and to point out the products he recommended. I even saw him the day after I went in while we both happened to be paddling the Coosa in Wetumpka. He was with his fiancee, and they're a very nice young couple. The manager, Nick, has been in car audio for 30 years, and he was available for Colin to bounce ideas off of so we could really pinpoint what equipment would give me the sound I was looking for at the price point I was looking for. I didn't get my installer's name, but he did a great job, too. He was even kind enough to come out to my car and show me how to dial my sound back in after I accidentally reset my head unit to the factory settings.The only negative part of my experience was another salesman (Connor or Conrad or something like that) angrily punching away on an adding machine right in front of me and then insinuating that Colin should be charging me more. I'd watch out for that guy, if I were you. He seems to put short term profits and his own commissions ahead of the customer's needs and the store's opportunities to earn repeat business.TL;DR - Great sound, great price. Salesman Colin and Manager Nick are awesome, as is the installer whose name I didn't get. The other salesman (Connor?, Conrad?, C-something?) wants to overcharge you for his own good, so be wary of his pricing.

Had my 4Runner tinted here and had a overall good experience. 35% in the front and 20% in the back the tint looks really good and I'm satisfied with it and the price which came to a total of 181$ Other people in Montgomery started off at 200$ . Would give these guys 5 stars but when I called in to check on my vehicle they wouldn't give me any information, called a second time and spoke to someone intelligent enough to actually check on it. All in all they did an outstanding job.

I took my time carefully researching the brands of audio in the area and time after time CKR offered the right products at the right price. I saved up my money to purchase a complete system in my truck. After the products were purchased an install date was set. The quality of the install is top notch. Not only that, the team at CKR took the time to tune my audio system to my specific vehicle. The results are a system that offers serious sound quality and one that can pull double duty by getting loud when you want it to. Do yourself a favor and take and pop in to see these folks. You'll be supporting a local business and be getting solid products. If you have trouble down the road you have an actual place to go to to get it resolved versus buying online and hopefully getting some good customer support if at all. Thanks again CKR! Job well done.

Took my sons' Nissan to have the port looked at today. CKR looked at it and saw that an aux-cord end had broken-off in the port, and needed to be removed. They could have charged me big-time to fix this, but they didn't. I truly appreciate their honesty and how they conduct business with their customers. Their work is done right the first time - if not they will work hard to make it right. My salesperson was Conrad - he was really professional and very knowledgeable. Really great experience at CKR!

CKR is the best car-audio shop I have ever dealt with. I have been coming to Nick and Andy since 2002, and here I am 5 vehicles later and couldn't be happier. They cleaned up a bad wiring job, upgraded my door speakers, hardwired my dash-cam and radar detector, and added some subs. You tell Nick what sound you are looking for, and he will make it happen (and then some). I have a very critical/picky ear when it comes to audio, and I am very impressed with my current setup. You can rest assured CKR will deliver every time, I cant say enough good things about this place.

Really cool and patient staff. Have my baby (charger) getting worked on right now and they are doing a wonderful job. I can tell the owner really doesn t bs because I asked for an estimate time of completion and he said we don t like to put time limits on things . That was my first green flag! The female and male at the front are very knowledgeable about what s going on. Definitely putting all the homies on. They were the only people in town that said yes to my request with no hesitation and I m getting some difficult stuff done! Def recommended 5/5

I recently purchased sub woofers, an amp and the supporting hardware from CKR. While doing research on the components prior to the purchase, Nick answered multiple questions on several different occasions. If he was busy he always returned my call. He was very informative sharing his knowledge and expertise. After the purchase, I scheduled an install date and time which they met. I have nothing but praise for this company.

These guys took care of me beyond what any business should do. Hooked my Jeep up with a downward facing sub and enclosure after finding out what I originally bought didn t work. I would definitely recommend CKR to anyone in the river region to get their system done.
