My sister used Jones Best Buy automotive for oil changes for many years and always felt confident and comfortable with them. She went in for an oil change recently and her transmission light had come on. They told her she needed a new transmission (6 year old car with over 100K miles), struts and brakes to the tune of $9K. They didn't bother to change the oil and on the estimate paper said they recommended she not drive the car at all. Scared to death, she took the risk and drove home. Later in the day, they called to say they'd found a refurbished transmission and could do the job for 5K. They even texted the next morning asking when she was bringing it in.In the meantime, she had a family friend who is a mechanic put it on the rack and check it out. He said it looked like a new transmission and was perfectly fine. Her struts are fine but she does need brakes which she will be getting anywhere but there. She went through 3 days of severe nervousness worried to death about her car and safety. I am writing this review for her. She feels betrayed, angry and her feelings are hurt because she trusted these people.

I have been a customer for a couple years now and they always do good. Staff very friendly and I definitely like the new associate Liz behind the counter. She will make sure they get you right and keep you entertained!

I just wanted to say I did trusted this company because my job company bring there car's there to get fixed so I gave it a try, I felt like I was took advantage because I went to get my a/c fixed and this lady told me about this in house financial/ snap where the company approved you for a loan so I didn't have to pay out the pocket right then. So I got approved for $1600 so they said I needed a radiator, spark plugs, cap & valve, for the A/c and engine mount... ok cool, mind you I just wanted my air conditioner fix then all this pop up... I was over charged on the part's and now I'm still in the boat I was in the first time and stuck with a bill that wasn't fixed!!!!! Thanks a lot for nothing

Do not go to this Best Buy Automotive and Tires, because they will do your Vehicle Repair very very very very Badly, and they are very very very Racist to Black People to, and they like to call Black the N Word to, and the Owner of this Business is in the KKK GROUP to.

Love these guys! Superb job always, and they remember you, f��kin awesome, they remember you!!! Update: still awesomeness, friendly staff..the guys are so funny at times and they have battle bots on the tellie..bonus: they have bibles for reading while you wait. In God I trust , thanks guys! You keep me on the road for sure.

I like the fact that they are knowlegeable and said they have certified mechanics. However, charging me $165 for labor that took 20 mins was entirely too high. I've used them before but they've lost my trust.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the way that when they explained what was found out from their inspection not once did they sound like they were talking to a toddler! Some of the women knew about cars and some knew only where the key went. I would recommend them to anyone and know that they were going to be taken care of.

I've been all over the country and when I move into a new place I try to find a neighbir who does cars and well. Josh and his crew are just that. I've read the reviews and like Josh said. There's nothing that can't be resolved with an honest conversation about your problems. Just seems like everytime I take my truck there it hasn t come back to me running correctly. Very frustrating when paying for things to be done correctly.Paid $500+ last year on water pump and thermostat replacementPaid over $800 for tune up and rear brakes last monthLess than a month later my truck had mechanical problems.Had to replace the less than year old thermostat and a cylinder one spark plug that they put in a month ago.Won t be back.

This place is heaven sent best prices in town and will tell you there recommendations and definitely friendly. I sent over my best friend who isn't the easiest to with for a timing belt replacement and water pump maintenance, let's just say he test there patience to the limits even when i probably would have snapped but they remind professional and friendly and got him in and out within a few hours! This place gets my stamp of approval for customer service!

Excellent Service A Family Owned Business Since 1957. I'm new to Montgomery and this is where I will bring my car. Great Price for an OilChange... I got my 3rd Oil Change here since I moved to Montgomery, I also got both Axles of my brakes done and a tail light bulb replaced. Always a Great Place. My Place for Car Service.

Absolutely outstanding service! I was stranded on the interstate and made a call to Best Buy Automotive. The wrecker arrived in 5 minutes and repairs were made in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend them to everyone. My thanks to the professional staff!Dale Arnette

It was incredibly easy to work with this company. My first time using them and Brian the manager greeted me very professionally and when the service was done, the technician that worked on my car came out and explained in detail what he did. Fantastic place to get your vehicle serviced.

The guys thay work here are great. I went to take my truck in to get new tires installed, they did it quickly and for a very reasonable price too. I think this is definitely my new tire place.

They replaced my oil pan on my car and did a wonderful job. Most places turned my away because I had my own brand new parts. The price was fair for labor and I will be recommending them.

On 07/12/22 I dropped my truck off for a diagnostic check I was told I had 5 vehicle ahead of mines now this way at 7:05am I was told I would hear bk from them in the afternoon but here is 8:40 I've gotten a call saying they put my car on the machine and that I need a alternator and the cost is $869 with labor $100 a hr so I called the dealership myself just to find out that the part didn't cost that much and that Rick or Rob which ever is the big tall white guy with face full of hair didn't put my car on machine because that wasn't the issue don't use this companyService: Auto engine diagnostic

It was a good place at one point. I got my car fixed earlier in the week a day after the car was worse and leaking even more radiator fluid after paying over &400. I still have to wait to get service for something they mess up. I probably will not be back after this.

Needed to write this way past due. This is about there brother establishment Jones Automotive up the road from this one. Advise never go to them 4 years ago took my Chevrolet Suburban to them to repair a oil leak. Paid 750.00 dollars for the repair. Replaced the gasket and it been bleeding oil ever since. Crank it now once a blue moon because I had to park it. Do not let them service an oil leak on your chevy it will only get worst. Waste of money.

Had my transmission rebuilt and didn t even last 10,000 miles... Paid over $2000 for a rebuild and only came with a 12000 mile/12 month warranty and I m right over my year. (Why would I pay you guys to put in another transmission when you couldn t even do it right the first time these people screwed me over and want me to come back again. Can t fool me twice.)Service: Transmission repair

Very Helpful and nice people, but I still feel they could've put in more effort to see what was wrong with my vehicle told me something that I was concerned about was totally normal and I don't think when it comes to a motor shaking that's normal for any car unless it's old very old.

I was trying to get tires on my truck and I called them to make sure they could do the job and they assured me they would be able to get it done. I waited over an hour after I got there and they told me they couldn't get to it until Monday. This was a Saturday and I had no idea what I was going to do... I didn't know of another place that would be able to get it done before my husband had to go to work. They were rude and I would definitely not recommend this place.

From the first time I called these guys have been amazing!! They're super friendly and comforting literally the best shop I've been to they've been informative and aren't intimidating like a few of the shops I've been to I'll recommend them to any and everyone

Got a used tire and full rotation only$40 tire was in pretty good shape. I will come back for sure. Mechanic was pretty friendly answered all my questions, and didn't get pissy when I asked to look at the tire before buying it.
