The staff greeted us with a friendly hello even when we called twenty five minutes before closing time. They responded kindly to my request to stop by and rent a car. We walked into a clean, organized lobby, we're greeted with a smile and personable conversation. They helped us quickly get what we needed and this was the Wednesday before Memorial day weekend.If you want to be treated respectfully and quickly, this is the service location to choose.Smiles

I've rented a car from Avis three times over the past two years, and I'm delighted with the service. I especially enjoy dealing with Mr. Pitts, the branch manager. He's always courteous and quick to greet everyone as soon as you step inside the door. Mr. Pitts has also been helpful and very patient whenever I speak with him on the phone. If I'm having any problems on their website or not receiving the support I need at the corporate 1-800 number, I can always count on him to resolve the issue. Be sure to ask for Mr. Pitts, you'll receive a level of service that you just don't expect these days at many business establishments. I highly recommend this location, and as someone who works in the marketing industry, I hope that Avis management appreciates Mr. Pitt's professionalism and commitment to providing consistent, quality service to his (and their) customers.

I cannot review this business as my sister and brother in law conducted business there. The vehicle they rented was not cleaned or washed before we got it. The vehicle was very dirty inside and outside. Another disappointment.31 October 2023

I will never rent a car from the rental service again. First of all the representatives did not tell me that a two day rental was the time you got the car which was 9:30 a.m. The rental was for two days at a rate of 66.00 for both days. When I returned the car on Tuesday I was charged 166.00. If I was told that information I would have made arrangements to have the compact car back at the check in at time. I will rent a hooptie before ever renting from Avis again. Make sure you get all the information before renting from this car rental on Vaughn Rd. Never, Never,, Never Again.

I called to reserve a 8 passenger van at the Avis in Montgomery Al. The person I spoke with gave me an 1-800 number to call. Went through the process of requesting my vehicle was given a reservation number. Stopped by the rental office in Prattville, Al to see if they could have the vehicle brought to their location which is nearest to me. The office was closed so I called Avis to see if this was possible. The person that I spoke with said after i gave them the confirmation number i was given said that that number was a request number not a confirmation number and that my request was denied. I have no idea what any of that means and she would or could not explain. I ask to speak a manager or someone who would know. She placed me on hold which I stayed on for 20 minutes before I bung as I had to go to work. I would recommend or wish this on anyone.

I am glad I didn t rent the car my dealership did because my car was getting serviced. The two females that was helping me was rude. When we went out to look at the vehicle she didn t look at the car and make sure it wasn t any damage. She was focusing on the car we was driving there . I supposed to have the car for 5-6 days I only had the car for 2 days and hurry up and returned it. Then going to get accused of damaged to the vehicle when I never hit anything i was more careful in someone s car . I gave them 1 star that s only way i could write my review!

Professional and helpful. After an awful experience at Enterprise Rent-a-car, the staff at this Avis location solved my problem and went above the call of duty. The staff is friendly. The vehicle was clean and very nice at a very fair price.

Booked a Avis rental through Uber.. I got off work to pickup the car to be told I needed documents after I arrived. Provided a utility bill, car insurance info, a 200 deposit, a copy of my most recent check stub and then was denied in a credit check. How, when my score isn t bad??! Crazy!!! And I m not trying to buy the car!! I normally book with Enterprise but decided to use them because of the price. Big mistake.

I reserved a full size vehicle on the app, they dont honor the app, I booked insurance but when they changed the reservation they canceled the insurance, they do not offer one way rentals (except to the MGM airport), the staff seem nice enough however if I can help it I will not book with this agent again.

Toya did an outstanding job getting me into a car on very short notice. She is very nice, professional and helpful. I am truly impressed at the service I received at the Vaughn/Eastern location.

Reserve car 3 times in a row all a week ahead of times and they didn t have cars. Also the last time the girl told me she gave my car away which I know the hold up to 10 hours if you re late. I ll never deal with them ever again bad customer service no courtesy and rude as hell Low budget cars also

I scheduled a rental days in advance. Reservation was set, I go to pick up the vehicle and am told at the counter I could not rent. I was livid. I had a trip planned for 4am the following day and NO CAR. I asked why and was not given an answer. I had rented a car not 3 months prior. I called to inquire about why I can't rent and was placed on hold for 1hour NO ONE CAME TO THE PHONE AND THEN I WAS DISCONNECTED. Still not knowing why I can't rent. I will never refer anyone here and once I find out I will never return here. Forget about Avis, their cars are not well mantienced anyway!!! P.s. I only gave 1 star because that was the only way to post a review. I wouldn't give them any stars otherwise.

All I did was return a one-way drop off. I actually picked the car up in Atlanta and dropped it off in Montgomery Alabama at this Avis. I like the location and the staff is very friendly. When I had questions about the charges on my bill they carefully explain them which was great. Don't know if I'll be back here but I would use this place again.

I'm so torn about how to rate this place. The price was amazing and the car was great. Some of the service was friendly, but some of the service was grumpy. The thing that really made me nuts and makes me want to give them a low rating is the fact that they have two speeds - slow and stop. Between Mr. Grumpy and things taking forever, I opted for a 3/5. Consider yourself warned.

They were able to get me a vehicle although I didn't book in advance. I had reservations at enterprise rental only to find out they had no vehicles. Avis provided a vehicle and I was able to attend my training the next morning.

We made a reservation through avis to pick up a car on Christmas day and found out when we arrived that there was no attendant and Avis would not be open (why would they allow us to reserve a car for pickup on a day they were closed?). We have to travel from Alabama to NJ and we had hotel reservations for the night, now due to the incompetence of Avis we have major issues. We then tried to call the representative and we were told that we would have to pay extra to reschedule, what a joke this company is. We now have a car pickup rescheduled for tomorrow at 7am and i highly doubt a car will even be available, but you can only hope they do the right thing.

Made a reservation paying with a debit card, on day of pickup they are gonna tell me that I couldn't get the car because I live in Montgomery County instead of city of Montgomery, and that I had to pay with a major credit card, which I didn't have, if they had told me that at time of booking I would have went elsewhere. Mess up my plans!!

It was horrible. Had an appt at 10:00am. They didn't have the car that we had reserved. Told us to come back at 1:00 they were going to Prattville to pick the car up. We came back at 1:00 and they hadn't even left yet. So for three hours of waiting still no car. We settled for a van. We will go somewhere else next time!!!!

Arrived to Avis on Saturday morning, it was raining and they had every patron outside IN THE RAIN. Staff was completely rude and unprofessional about the issue. There were literally no adjustments made to make us comfortable and the workers had horrible attitudes. I won t be returning.

Really appreciated the gentleman that helped us to venture our trip to Virginia.. we had problems at the airport where we usually rent from.. I called customer service who sent us to this business.. using the same reservation the salesperson put us in an upgrade because of the inconvenience from the airport.. this Thanksgiving trip started out late but thank God for patience and listening to my husband, cause I almost panic when I thought I was not going to be able to see me Grand daughter, son, and brother's family... thank God 1St, hubby, Avis.....

The only cars they have had cigarettes smoke in them.friendly people though.I couldn't use the car I rented to much cigarettes smoke had to turn the car back in to them after driving it 2 blocks.I had a very bad asthma attack.

Glad I didn't have to pay for this rental... Car was in the shop and dealer got me over here for a complementarily loaner. Unprofessional and lazy employees venting their frustrations and passing customers off onto co-workers...

Someone don t know what the hell she doing. Swiping people cards then saying they don t have the money but clearly it shows where they took it. Smh need new workers! Don t deserve no star!

I called the number and talked to someone from Budget not realizing they were also Avis and shared the location and vehicles I reserved a car with Budget only to arrive to no vehicles available.
