Used car lots are what they are. I bought this truck from Mikey and he was great. I walked away from this deal feeling good. Not great but good. This a family business and I feel like they do try hard to keep good business. I have no complaints which says a lot when dealing with used cars. These seem to me to be good people.

These people are wonderful. My wife and I bought a truck here and the process was extremely easy, felt right at home. I will buy all of my vehicles from here. Mike and Nancy are extremely friendly and made sure that we had a safe and beautiful truck. Also, Tab was extremely helpful with any questions that we had.. I would give more stars on this review if I could. Thank you A and P!

DO NOT BUY FROM A&P AUTO !!!! I BOUGHT A EXPRESS VAN AND IT HAS A STRIPPED OUT THREAD WHERE THE SPARK PLUG GOES AND THEY WILL NOT FIX IT AND I JUST MADE THE FIRST PAYMENT. **NO WARRANTY**

Mostly my fault. Got a 2012 chevy camaro put 4500 down (car is valued at 5,000) I've had it for a year. Engine is completely blown and leaking oil. Car doesn't drive anymore. I communicated my issues with a&p asked them for help since I was still paying, nothing. I couldn't get to work, lost my job etc etc and they called me and said they were looking for payments. They didn't really care about what I was going through wanted me to pay for a car I couldn't even back up in my yard. Told me they were suing me so yea. Please beware of this lot. Take someone with you who's knowledgeable about cars. I was by myself when I purchased the car and it was my dream car so I made a hasty purchase. They see a fool coming a mile away. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!! Nancy was pretty helpful about late payments but I believe she knew the car was a lemon.

I can personally say, you will be treated fairly and get a good price on a vehicle of choice. I really like that they have a full service department to help keep your vehicle serviced and up-to-date. I highly recommend doing business with them.

I've had problems with my Hyundai Santa Fe leaking oil. I took the car to another local service center on Bell Road for an oil change and complained about the leak. I got the oil change but the leak continued. I took my car to A&P Automotive on recommendation of a friend of mine and explained my problem. They put the car on the rack and found a small crack that was next to the crush washer. Someone during a past oil change may have tightened the washer too much, I was advised. They had to order an oil pan and were able to install it the next day. I think this service center is a keeper. They also have a car dealership and the waiting room has 4 Corvettes and an old Alabama State Trooper car waiting to be admired.

Be very cautious making a purchase here- it's a lemon lot. I recently bought a vehicle here with a brake light on, the salesman assured me that they've checked it out in their service center and it was just a bad sensor that needed replacing, but they weren't able to order the part and it would have to be repaired by Honda. He said it would cost about $400 to fix and took that off the price. Well I take it to Honda to get it fixed, and it's not just a sensor.. it was the entire ABS module and cost me $2,550 to get it fixed. When I explained the situation to the owner he said he didn't know why the salesman would tell me that, and they could have fixed it. He said I could bring it by for them to look at it to try to repair it, but by that point Honda had ordered the part, and I don't trust their integrity not to lie again.As you can see from the replies... owner lacks as much intelligence as he does integrity. Take your business somewhere else.

My sister bought an SUV about 6 weeks ago from A&P for about 7500.00 and true enough it was sold as is but she has only driven it less than 150 miles and the water pump has already gone out. Called to tell them and they said it was sold as is. Pretty sorry if you ask me. Only 150 miles driven and the water pump is gone. Beware buyers

Not a horrible place, but they did sell me a truck that had tires on it 13 years old. They had good tread, but unfortunately did not hold up long and put me on the side of the road. My best advice is to crawl all over whatever vehicle you want to buy first. I guess that was partially my fault. Had I'd known I would've made them replace them before buying.

The team at A&P are best in class. They are honest, fair and incredibly dependable. They treat my truck like it is their own. As men of their word, I highly recommend the team at A&P. Machines break, these men treat you with respect and charge a very fair rate for their services. I will always trust them to repair my vehicle and when it s time to purchase , Mike will be my 1st and only call! I would not go anywhere else. Thank you for being men of character.

I'm just going to be honest....great people...just bad business...I put my trust in the company because I know several persons with A&P automobiles...for my own birthday...(July 26,)...I decided to buy a R/T Challenger, it was trash. So I get it swapped for a Charger. No Problem, a week later it has issues. Take it back one week...they put a bad part in my vehicle, a week after that it's back in shop, replaced same part, got it back, fast forward...today is (Aug 18)...car has another issue, no problem, ill come out if pocket AGAIN!!!...but when I just paid over enough to drive off lot...the atleast you can do is make sure a loyal customer is always tooking great care of...because you never know who can bring you business, I wouldn't say don't shop with them...just be careful about buying any Sport or muscle car from the company...over the last 4yrs I been having to put money into old vehicles and now I decided to treat myself to a car note...and now paying to get a newer model fixed...but yall win...I GUESS!!! I'll get my blessing out it...someday

If I could give these people 0 stars I would. If you re gonna purchase a vehicle from then I would highly suggest you get the vehicle inspected before purchasing. They lied and sold me vehicle with damage and will not cooperate on fixing it. Owner was extremely rude and not sympathetic. They are scammers do not shop with them!

Good, quick, friendly service while we were driving through from Mississippi to Georgia. They fixed a nail whole in our tire for $15, and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating and no wait time.

We had a wonderful experience buying my daughter her 1st car! Chris was awesome and made it so easy. We drove from Bham and could only hope the pictures did the car justice. We are so impressed and she absolutely loves the 2015 Nissan Rogue we purchased. Also, love buying from a mom and pops place and not a big dealership. Shop local ALWAYS! Thanks again Chris for a great experience and if you're ever in Bham come have a pizza on us ;)

I went in with $1000 and got told that I needed to have $2000 because no car buying history I thought money talks but other than that great customer service and friendly atmosphere!!!

Thanks, Mike,Nancy, Jerry, and Terry, been buying cars from them over 30 years started back in 1990 I think this is the 7th car I bought from them. They always treat me like family good deal good cars and trucks. I always send my friends and family to them.So go by and check them out. Great people!!!

Beware of A & P Automotive Company ... I recently took my vehicle here to get a new starter and my front struts replaced. When I went in on a TUESDAY MORNING, I told them that I had a squeak coming from my struts and that my car clicks here and there so I needed to get a new starter. I left my car with them , and got a call back saying the starter has been replaced and I'm "good to go". I then had to remind them of my strut replacement. I immediately felt like they ignored me or didn't take me seriously as a customer. They then proceeded to "do repairs " but my car wasn't ready until 5:00 on WEDNESDAY EVENING. I got there , and as I was pulling out of the lot, I was ecstatic because my starter and my strut replacement came out PERFECTLY but I just wondered why my car was held so long until closing ... until I got home and realized that there was coolant liquid all over my tires and the pavement. So I figured they realized they messed up and didn't want to be bothered with my complaints for that day. So I met back with them on Thursday morning at opening (7 AM the next day), told them the situation and they said they would look and see what was wrong. I sat there nearly 2 hours before they told me what I already knew . THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE COOLANT TANK... but as I was told this... I was also hit with a price quote.. so I asked why I would be charged ? Because this wasn't happening until after I left the shop but they insisted that "there's no way we could've done that. The tank is old." I was extremely frustrated and Disappointed because I WILLFULLY spent nearly $800 in repairs and now they were asking for nearly 200 to replace to tank... BUT the store owner agreed to let me have the service done for free but it should've initially been that. I felt taken advantage of and played. MY STRUT AND STARTER REPAIRS WERE FIVE STARS BUT THE WAY I WAS TREATED, and THE AMOUNT OF TIME WASTED , and HOW I WAS NEARLY AT RISK OF PAYING FOR SOMETHING THAT I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR.. 1 Star.UPDATE: 1 week later, the tank they replaced doesn't drip, but doesn't hold coolant. Tank empties out from point A to point B. Caused my car to overheat today 6/8/17 . Had another mechanic look at it and said they caused a blown gasket head. I will NEVER go back to this place. You all have costed me another car , and I hope that you are happy with yourselves. Karma is real, and if you keep doing customers DIRTY like this, there will be consequences to follow. Stop scheming people

Two week update on my car: I will never recommend this dealership to no one. I've been having problems with my car from the time i received it. Their whole demeanor changed. It wasn't even three full days WHEN i started experiencing problems. I tried taking it back, I was told they would take a look at it and they actually charged me to get it fixed. A day after getting it fixed I started having the same problems again. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I came here on Monday to buy a car. We met Danny at the lot. What a hoot he is! He showed us the vehicle we wanted and we went into the office to do the paperwork. Everything was fine with the loan then it was not. None of us had a clue what happened. So Danny tried another bank and they wanted to much done. Danny was calm and professional. Me, on the other hand was a different story. So the deal was off. But 15 minutes later Danny called me and said he reworked the deal to help us out. So we went back Tuesday morning and we got the vehicle. So we want to thank Danny for taking great care of us. He is very friendly, professional and caring. We will be back for service and other vehicles. Thanks to the entire A&P Auto sales team.Rick & Lisa Breeden

First off, Five stars is not enough. Buying a car from A & P was the best car buying experience of my life. I worked with Danny and Tim to get my truck and they are great. Had a problem with the truck a few weeks later and came in and they helped me out with it. Where most used car dealer would have told me tough, cars are sold as it, they still helped me out. If you are buying a car in central Alabama go to them first. They are the only place I will buy and take my vehicle for service.

My Dad just got his second Chevy Avalanche from here! They are extremely courteous, fast, efficient, and nice! It is always a pleasure to stop in and speak with everyone! I highly recommend you stop in here if you are looking for another vehicle!

Best price on tires that I could find, and they offer lifetime rotation and balance if you buy them there. Best price on an oil change also. They can quickly get you the tires from their warehouse instead of having to pay to ship them on overnight.

Not exactly honest about all working parts on a vehicle you purchase. Buyer beware. I won t purchase again.

They have good deals and help out but don't go out of their way to do it. Our vehicle was having issues unknown when we bought it but didn't offer to fix it but did warranty the parts and I repaired it myself. Great prices on tires and s services for vehicals though

Check Kelly Blue Book or Nada before purchasing. Their cars are way over priced! Most of their cars are $3000-4000 over actual book value.. But I do have to say they always have a good selection of cars with good car fax reports just too high on prices.
