My car was "unrepairable" they said I could sell it to them and they would dispose of it for me. They watched me remove my personal stuff from the car in a manner that made me feel like I was stealing something from them. They refused to allow me to remove my tires (practically new) and got visibly angry when I removed my (also new)battery. The "Mom and Pop" of this place acted more like a cartel than a small college town business. They take advantage of the young, inexperienced students and are rude to a parent calling to remotely help their stranded child.. Stay far away.

We had to get a tow here just out of ditch, car was working fine we just ran off the road, and they had charged $250 when it had lasted less than half an hour, we were right next to their station, and they didn't even have to take the car, we drove off. Not only were we overcharged but they had charged us twice on accident and they had us wait an hour to refund us. We had asked them what the rates were and they stayed quiet and kept saying that it should have been $350 except if we didn't request them? Really sketchy and low-key racist

This is your typical small town auto mechanic, owned by a Stan and wife who are honest & hardworking. Their prices are not the best you will find, and there are things they just don't have the equipment and know how to work on - especially on newer cars.That all being said, they will not try and "upsell" you on services you don't need and they will not rip you off. If you live in and around the town of Montevallo, and you need auto work done, I would not hesitate on taking it to Stan.

What a lovely experience at Montevallo Auto Repair; it was something I'll never forget. Famfriendly vibes were refreshingly met with blessed blessings that, blessedly, bless best! From a Stan, a Stan stood there amazed at the beautiful faith displayed from precious people, I highly recommend this place!

After my car broke down I call this company. they told me that they will tow and fix my car. Next day they call me and told me that they can not fix my car and I need it to take it some where else. They started calling me every day to take my car of their shop because they did not have space to keep it. To the point that I had to sell it for a couple hundred dollars.Worst place I had to deal with in my life

This company will scam your insurance company.Charge the customers one price and the insurance another.
