I had stopped in the tire shop cuz I seen a set of rims out front I was interested in I talked to the owner he then told me to go ahead let his associate take the tire off so we can put it on there that would see if it would fit so they did that and he and I walked to the back of the building so we could find a proper fitting chrome rim so I walked with them behind him and around a vicious dog to three or four different spots back there with debris and harmful objects everywhere and so we didn't find any rooms back there and then we went in and there was some that he said would fit on display he then took the rim and put it on my car and I said yeah that looks great but I'm going to have to talk with my husband first even charging told me that it was going to cost me $20I told him he never said it would be $20 from the beginning you never said anything like that he said where we did a lot of work here no so you did not I did the work while walking with you and your associate zeph the tire off in 2 seconds I don't have given you $20 for this and I told you I needed to talk to my husband to ties and so I can't make a decision like this without him and I said and I don't do business like this so no I'm not giving you $20 and I'm out of here I couldn't believe it this is not the first time this man has been rude with me and trying to take advantage of me being get giving me a bad tire that was making me pull to the left I told him that it was a bad tire he took the tire put it on the right side of the car telling me that I needed a and I said no sir it's the tire and so then when I proved it was a tire and took the car back to him I told him I said it is the tire sir and he said well maybe it's the woman driver and I said well maybe it is the owner of this store is the problem you know and so he has been rude to me several times and I just his business is it isn't going to be in business because you can't treat women like this and take advantage of him and he's done this twice to me there will not be 1/3

Worst experience, I got a tire at 1130am and now 9pm it's completely flat. The guy dropped a truck off the jack I should have run then. This is unacceptable. My car was wobbly he lost the top of the valve stem and put a bad tire on. Tomorrow I should have no issues with them replacing this awful tire.

There are gonna be tons of complaints about their used tires, but the kind of people buying used tires tend to be complainers. I don't mean that ugly, but with new tires being 2 or 3 hundred dollars, you're buying used knowing its just that. I've had many tubes and tires for tractors swapped here and they have always done excellent service and the lowest prices I've found for that kind of swap. There is a language barrier but most of them speak well enough English and they give you the price before they do anything. They do up charge on credit card purchases as do most small businesses. You should give them a chance.

My first time visiting this place I bought an overpriced used tire and had a flat 20 minutes away from the place and had to turn around and go back ended up paying more for a different used tire.. my second visit to this place they put a used tire on the rim that went flat in a matter of seconds and then it took them almost 45 minutes to walk behind the building to find another bad used tire that ended up almost going flat 3 days later... I went back for them to try to make it right and they told me that they would charge me $15 for a plug so all together I would have been out of $80 for a bad used tire avoid this placeService: Tires

Recently had the tire on my Toyota replaced here, great customer service and they were super quick - called ahead to make sure they had my size and I was in & out in less than 15 minutes. It was around $46 for a used tire. Definitely happy with my experience!

Went with my own tire to get mounted on my rim on my way out of town for disaster relief. My husband has used them several times and only paid $10 to have our own tire mounted. I was charged $20. Then they replaced my valve stem without even telling me and charged me another $5. On top of all that, they broke the sensor on the tire which is $100+ to get replaced. Definitely don t recommend. Feel as if they took advantage of me because I am a female. I knew it was a ripoff but didn t have time to fight with them.Service: Tires

Was given a quoted price on a new set of tires and not even a month later when I went in buy them the owner(who told me he had put the tires I was gonna buy on his truck) couldn't do that price now? And the price was almost $250 more than my quoted price. I understand its his business and he can sell his products for what he wants but that is not what I consider honorable business practices. You may choose to do business with this company but i wouldn't expect them to be honest.

First they sold a tire to a friend of mine overpriced. When I get there to have it put on my vehicle they put the incorrect tire size on my car thinking I wouldn't notice. Upon making them correct the mistake they don't have the right tire size and proceeded to tell me that I gave them the wrong tire size to begin with because they didn't want to refund my money. This business will tell you they have whatever you need and put whatever they want to on your vehicle in hopes that you don't notice just be mindful. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I was traveling from Montgomery to North Alabama started hearing a loud grind from back rear tire, sounding like bearing going out. The owner told me they were about to close but come on he would get me fixed. After locating bearing from parts store he puts car on rack and realizes it was loose lug nuts from previous mechanic. These guy are honest and hard working. I wish I lived closer he would be my everyday mechanic. Amazing service honest people. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I just left there to get my tire plugged. Instead of plugging my tire he decides he wants to put air in it. Then turns around and says it s 3.00 for air when the sign clearly says $2. Then he goes on to say he has to charge me $4 because I m using a card. Then tells me it s $2 per tire. I ll never go back there. Who charges $4 to put air in your tire. I will be disputing the transaction.Service: Tires

I've been here twice. Each time they give me a price on the phone then charge me more when I get there. They would not give me two natching tires and the ones they sold me were old and had sidewall cracks and damage. It will be worth it to drive further into Birmingham to find a better used tire shop.

Very disappointed in this business that I have used several times for car tires. Took my lawn mower tire to get fixed. The young men blew out the tube in the tire and had a great laugh when it popped. They refuse to replace the tube that they ruined and told me if I brought a new tube they would still charge me to put it in.I'll be doing business with Montevallo tire from now onService: Tires

Saw the reviews on this business and thought it can't be that bad. Called in and sure enough the two idiots who answered that kept handing the phone back in forth are on borrowed time. They will not be open very long with how the treat customers.Service: TiresService: Tires

We were driving through town on Saturday afternoon and my husband ran over something that cut his tire. The service was awesome. They patched his tire and had us on our way in about 15 minutes.

This makes the 3rd time I have bought a tire from this place and not gotten the correct size or had to take it back due to leaking or both... If your in a pinch it will do to get you to a better tire shop but that's about it as far as I have seen

Overcharged me for a used tire and for mounting. Will never use them again.
