The owner I'm guessing, some white man said" I can walk away or be carried away!!" I was casually speaking to my mother about holiday plans on the phone by the store he sounded very aggressive and said it was a problem I had been standing there for 15 minutes (it was 7 minutes at most) I immediately apologized and told him I was on the phone I'll make my purchase now he said no just take your business across the street to Chevron I tried to pay for my gas then that's when he insinuated a physical threat that I quoted above. Made me mad enough to whoop him but it's the holidays so I pray for the man and if he sees this I hope you get some respect for yourself as a reward for this holiday season. Merry Christmas.

I always receive friendly service with a smile here. It may not seem like much as words on a page, but I know the power of a kind word and a happy interaction. I won't stop anywhere else for my gas or after work treats, bc they truly get it. Fueling my heart for the last 3 years, and many more to come!

The gas prices are too high but that s my only complaint. The store has a limited but good selection and the staff are amazing. The service station is where this location shines. The prices are fair especially for regulars, and the work is always good.The owners car collection is also pretty rad.

Wow! This place is great. I needed auto repair on my car and they were able to get me in right away. The work was done quickly and priced fair. Gavin, the mechanic, was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The owner's Preston and Stephen were on site working the place. You wouldn't even know the were the owners. If you need work on your car or a nice bottle of wine in a pinch...this is the place to visit. The FULL SERVICE station your parents use to talk about still exists in Mobile, Al.

Best family owned gas station in town because they really know how to take care of their customers. Been a loyal customer for years! They have a full service option which my mother uses plus they will check your tire pressure/oil and clean you windshield for you.

My truck was stolen from the parking lot after I rented a budget truck. The owner didn't careless all he want was his money for the truck rental. Could careless if I was stuck didn't over any help. So worried that I called police ran over to the police officer told the police I was not with this gas station. Funny how there are no cameras outside. To protect customers belongings.

Honestly I'd never write a review on a gas station but my experience at this particular Shell deserves a share. First off the restroom was the cleanest I've came across. The attendant was friendly and pleasant. When I went to pump my gas i realized a lock gas cap had been put in by my father in law. I was on my way to a new job, and I couldn't figure out how to unlock this cap. I made a few calls and no one answered so I ask a guy pumping gas next to me if he knew. He tried and tried and couldn't figure it out. At this point I'm in a panic, I had to have the gas, needle was hugging E. The attendant must have noticed the situation and came and saved the day. Very thankful and made it to work on time.

All employees treat the customers very well and make you feel that you are important. The owner knows how important customers are and he shows it in himself and his team. I was seen promptly and all needed repairs were reasonably priced. This is what a service station is supposed to be. Try them out before going to the dealership or other franchise.

This location (Government/Ann) will always help you out with anything from flat tires to looking over your engine, without expecting anything. I have to force a tip on them!! Very helpful staff and not at all overrun with bums at night like all the other gas stations around.

The Griffith family is one of the finest families in Mobile. Steve, Preston and their sister Beth, run the best, and maybe the only, full service filling station and full service mechanical repair shop in this city. I have known these guys to go beyond what anyone would expect of a truly neighborhood service station. Pick people up at home and take them to work when their cars wouldn't start; Fix their cars and drop the car off at work so it was waiting for them to drive home in. My children were always treated like family by there. When they couldn't find Dad when they had a car problem, they knew they could always call Preston or Steve. Only a few proudly owned family service business left. This is among the finest.

I dropped off my Budget truck here after I was done moving. The owner was extremely nice and polite, he told me exactly what I needed to do to finish the process and I was in and out in five minutes. Couldn't have been a more pleasant experience!

So nice to have a true 'full service' gas station. One of our vehicles had a nail/screw in the tire and stopped by Griffith's to get it fixed. It took little time and the staff was very attentive. It was such a pleasant experience. Griffith's Shell has been helping my family for over 40 years and we will be supporting it for many more. Support a local business.

I ve had good service at the gas station, but I would not waste your money on the car wash. I paid $6 to literally have it spray a small amount of water on my car. It didn t even take the dust off. They refunded me for the $9 wash which wasn t much better. After two washes, I still had dirt all over my car.

I'm at one of the friendliest cashier's ever she told me she was married for 35 years that just lost her husband she's awesome though y'all go check her out over there to Greer's Cash Saver you'll know her by her demeanor she deserves a raise man

The young lady at the register stayed on the phone with a customer 7 minutes before even acknowledging me . It was 6 in the morning. I won't be back

I barely spent two minutes inside the station. When I visited, I was searching for a copy of the USA Today Sports Weekly. I was in luck that they had a couple of copies.
