*UPDATE*Contrary to what Rettig commented about this post being slanderous, i must insist that not a word of this review is incorrect or exaggerated. The damage to my car didnt involve my back bumper panel WHATSOEVER and it was in perfect condition when i brought my car in and i have the pictures to prove it. Yet they still removed the panel to resell despite it not being damaged in the slightest. And, again, i can prove it.I brought my car in after someone backed into me. It stayed there for several weeks while my insurance company decided how to process my claim. Even though it was only cosmetic damage, my insurance company decided to total out my vehicle. I requested to get my car back. It turns out they had already started stripping panels off my car to resell. When I picked up my car it looked SIGNIFICANTLY worse than when I dropped it off. Why did they even need to take the bumper panel off? What's worse, they made zero effort to rectify the situation. I am incredibly unhappy with them and their sleazy tactics. Truck looks like new. I have never had a shop communicate like they do here. I was updated at least once a week on the status of the repairs. Will definitely be back if needed.

We had a very positive experience with this body shop, our vehicle looks brand new! Dylan was so polite and professional. From beginning to end there was great communication, our vehicle was completed when they said it would be done. Jimmy the detailer was absolutely fabulous! I would highly recommend this body shop to anyone needing body work or just to have their vehicle detailed. You will not be disappointed, I wouldn t use anyone else!Service: Body & Trim

Go see Dylan Argiro at Rettig's on Montlimar. Someone bumped my car in a parking lot and they were nice enough to leave me their information to repair the damage. I took it to Rettig's for an estimate. Dylan did an amazing job on buffing out the scratch...and did not charge after I explained about the person who bumped my car. I appreciate his honesty, hard work and giving people a break when needed. Love this Auto Shop!Service: Body & Trim

After the Daphne location failed to fix my car after 6 trips over 13 weeks, Corey and Paige assured me they would make it right. Two more trips and I was told that they can put the damaged exhaust components back on so the noise will go away but the muffler won t fit right or I can live with the noise from the after market exhaust parts they used because they failed to notice the damage when originally looked at. They gave an estimate for repairs and to replace with correct parts would have totaled the car. Now they can t seek supplement from insurance so I am out of luck. They did at least fix the leak that the Daphne location couldn t get right but I am still left with a car that is not properly fixed. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I wish I had heard the other horror stories BEFORE I trusted them to work on my car.

Late on a Saturday night, during a cross-country drive with my family, I was in a fender bender. The front bumper on my F150 bent too far forward for me to continue driving, so we stopped for the night at a hotel and tried to figure out what to do. Early on Sunday morning, I sought any open mechanic or repair shop who might be able to help us so we could keep driving. Not a single one was open. I figured I d try to fix it myself, but on the way to an auto parts store, I passed by Rettig s. I saw the light was on, so I figured I d knock and ask for help. A gentleman came out of the garage, so my issue, and just immediately went to work on it. He spent 15 minutes taking off the bumper, then did a bit extra to secure some loose chords. When he was finished, I offered to pay him. He refused. I took the cash out of my wallet, and again, he refused. He just said he was happy to help.The folks at Rettig s are good, honest people who helped me when I needed it. I don t live in the area, but if you do, I can t recommend Rettig s highly enough.

Have a quantum gray audi s5 that needed some paint work done. Originally took it to another shop that said they don't do paint if i didn't need any body work done, but the guy there recommended Rettig's as a place that would. Apparently the first time around the color didn't match up well, so they kept it an extra few days to redo it, and now I can't even tell it was ever damaged. The fact that they're willing to take the extra time/effort to make sure it looks good means everything. Staff was super friendly as well. Would definitely recommend/use again.Service: Painting

They did an absolutely beautiful paint job on my car. They made sure it literally looked brand new when I came to pick it up, and went above and beyond just applying new paint. Thank so much to everyone involved for all of your efforts! Y'all put a huge smile on my face. We've got two more vehicles needing work and will be back very soon.Service: Painting

I chose Rettig s Auto Body Shop to repair my car and I m so glad I did. The staff that I spoke with were helpful and friendly, my paint job turned out to be perfection. I was totally impressed with their expertise. I give them an A+ on all counts and would recommend them highly to anyone.

Rettig's and Progressive worked together very well to help me get a couple of aftermarket parts replaced that had fit and durability issues. The staff and management were very easy to work with and they went above and beyond in helping fix my vehicle. They have a great reputation in the area and the work was excellent.

I have used Rettig' auto Body for many years for body work. They are absolutely the best place in the South to get professional work done. the paint jobs are perfection, the body work is also perfect. There is never a gap or over spray anywhere on the vehicle. The care they take to get your vehicle to look as it did before the damage is 100%. I took my 2018 Murano in on Monday, Danielle came out took the estimate on the repair work. She assessed everything down to the decals that had to be replaced. She was so kind, friendly and helpful. I put my car in the shop on Monday and got it back on Friday. She did an outstanding job speaking with the insurance companies and keeping me informed on everything taking place. She was top notch with her customer service skills. Mr. Rettig was also a huge help in making sure I was completely satisfied with my vehicle. I have referred many family and friends to Rettig's. I would never take any vehicle to any other shop for body repair work. I have owned foreign and domestic vehicles, if you want your vehicle put back together correctly and look better than it did before do yourself a favor take it to RETTIG's.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Good body/paint work but poor service and communication. Got surprised with an extra 3% fee for using a credit card at the time of payment among other issues.

Did an excellent job of repairing my pickup truck which had some major damage. However the owner owes me a refund that he said to me 'I will take care of it.' This has been several weeks ago and he has NOT taken care of it. And I dread having to go there and ask him for it. Otherwise I would give this place five stars.Later had reason to take truck by there. Owner made it right plus did me a no charge favor! Problem was not his fault. He did not say but I suspect an employee no longer there did not write me a check as was told to do. This time they immediately gave me a check for the refund .Five stars. Excellent work & customer satisfaction!

Used their services for 24 years on 6 occasions from Bob Allen to Jim Patrick. Top quality work and great people with whom to work. This is THE ONLY PLACE to bring your Porsche or other exotic car. They will work at the same level of quality on your Toyota Corolla. You can get work done at less expense elsewhere. And that is exactly what you will get less.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We had the misfortune over thanksgiving holiday of being involved in an accident that debilitated our vehicle. It had to be left in Alabama while we made our way back to Texas. It was fortuitous that it was a Subaru and they didn't have a body shop but highly recommended Rettig's. Fred, Jim and others were so helpful. If you have a vehicle that you want repaired correctly go to Rettig's. I just got home from the return trip 600 plus miles. The car which required suspension, wheel and other repairs in addition to body work drove wonderfully. I'm determined now to write positive reviews when good experiences occur. Most people just gripe and complain and expect their lives to be trouble free even when though they caused the problem. This was my fault and Rettig's made it right. Thank you Fred and staff.

I knew Rettig's was a well-respected business used by local car dealerships; but when they told my the damaged back of my brand-new car would look like it had before, I had my doubts. Well, the vehicle looks better than new! Additionally, Jared and the Rettig's team did everything they could to expedite my service despite significant business interruptions when Hurricane Sally hit the area. Brought my car to Rettig for some minor body repair and paint. Danielle in the office was very professional and pleasant, but the manager Mark truly went above and beyond his duty s. When I left my Vehicle was driving oddly and nothing like when I brought it to them. The clock, radio, Bluetooth, everything was messed up I brought it back and Mark came out to tell me he would have his diagnostic person run some tests on it the following day. By the time I got home several minutes later the acceleration, transmission, breaking everything was messing up. I called Rettig again and Mark immediately came to my home to assess what was going on. Turns out it was the battery. A new one was purchased and installed and my car works perfectly. Because there are so many touch screens and electrical things on my car I had no idea. I thought it was very kind and just old-fashioned professional for him to come to my home and basically tell me what was wrong with my car. If I could give them zero stars I would. This place butchered a brand new 2017 vehicle. All I had was a simple door ding that needed repair and now I m looking at having paint correction done to my entire vehicle due to overspray. Next, a buffer was used to remove it that destroyed the clear coat. Follow that up with scratching the living hell out of the bumper and trim pieces that are now broken and I don t know how this place stays open. Total incompetence. Stay as far away from this place as possible. I hold SpringHill Toyota responsible for recommending these clowns.

Great body shop! The staff is very friendly and the workmanship is top notch! It took longer than expected to get my vehicle back but it was worth the wait. Highly recommend.

My car had bad rear end collision accident. Rettig was very professional and went step by step with me on the repair. Honest hard working staff is what I experienced at Rettig. I would suggest their services to anyone.

This is my second time using this body shop. Their friendly and courteous. They make sure that you don't get the right parts.sometime nsurance companies will give parts that will stand up to the standards. They cleaned my car inside and outside. It wasn't a quick either. Thanks you guys!
