Red is a good man, and a very knowledgeable mechanic, who does excellent work! I can't thank him enough for getting my Chevy Avalanche running. I recommend him to anyone looking for a great mechanic! Thank you again Mr. Red!

Thank you Shawn! He fixed the problem (water pump). After taking my car to A&S Auto Repair in Saraland twice, missed Diagnosed. And a lot of $$$. BUT now it's Truly fixed! Thanks Shawn!!!

This is one of the only reviews I've ever left because this was one of the only times a business has been absolutely straight up and honest with me. My car was having trouble starting. The auto parts store said the battery was fine, and the alternator tested okay for me. So I called Red's to explain the situation and ask for help.When I said my battery was more than 4 years old, the guy on the phone (Red himself??) said I should just get a new battery. Apparently the battery tests offered by the chain stores aren't always accurate, and batteries today don't last as long as they used to. I said thanks, went to the store and bought a battery, and haven't had a problem since.Red's easily could have taken me for $200 to "inspect and troubleshoot" my car, then sell me a battery. But they didn't. He knew the problem and told me for free. That's honest. You better believe the next car problem I have, I'm calling Red's.

I wish I could give Red and his son, Shawn, 10 stars! This is the only place in Mobile I feel comfortable taking my car. Red is honest and knowledgeable. He will only fix what is broken. He does not try to sell you things you don't need. Today my battery died. I had no idea how I was going to get somewhere to get a new one. Luckily, I don't live too terribly far from his location. He sent Shawn to my house to replace my battery and the fee was extremely reasonable. If you are looking for an experienced mechanic who won't price gauge you, go see Red!

Red is the best mechanic in town. He has always run a diagnostic on my vehicle for free and let me know ahead of time if it's something that needs immediate attention. I've been taking my personal and work vehicles to Red's for over five years and I've always been more than satisfied with the quality of his work and service, and I think you will find him hard to beat on the cost as well. Sometimes there can be a wait to get your vehicle in, but it's worth it.

BEST....MECHANICS.... EVER!!! I trust them with every car we drive. Always fair and timely. Been a customer for 15+ years. Red and Shaun are so knowledgeable about any problem I ve ever had with a vehicle. They generally know my problem just from a phone call. Highly recommend, you will not be sorry!

I called in for help, to find cost the man on the phone was so disrespectful it literally disgusted me charging $600 to drop a gas tank lol I said I can do that at my house for free. He got snotty an hung up. I can only assume he's use to taking advantage of poor females that don't know anything about cars lol still absolutely disgusting the way this tiny man spoke on the phone if your a female I'd run fast their out for everything you got

Christmas came early this year! Red saved us half of what we would have paid for worse work. He and his mechanics speak with you directly and even go a step further to prevent future problems from happening. Very knowledgeable.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

i've been using Red for about 3 years now and he's always been honest and fair with me. he does great work as well! Red takes the time to explain to you what's going on and what your options are. he charges for the work he does and that's it. my only complaint is that sometimes it takes a while for your car to be seen 'cause he's so busy but that's due to his reputation as a great mechanic. i'd recommend Red to any girls out there who get intimidated going to the mechanic. like the other reviewer said, don't be put off by the location or the shop. the quality of work is top notch.

My Son is in College at USA Mobile. I am way up here in the North in Huntsville, Lol. His Jeep broke down and I did some research for the best Mechanic in Mobile and found Red. Excellent experience. Red told us what it was going to cost and stayed in communication with us. He fixed it right the first time. Highly recommended!!!!!

Skilled, honest mechanic! I recommend him to anyone in the Mobile area, especially women. As a woman it can be often intimating visting a mechanic. Red is a man you can trust and a skilled mechanic. He will only fix what you need to get you back on the road and won't bother you with trying to fix unnecessary things to get more money from you. He is a great choice for people who live on a tight budget, too. He always comes in at or below estimate!

My alternator went out on the interstate while I was traveling. He was so nice; repaired my vehicle and didn't charge an arm and a leg. So thankful for Red's!!!
