Hunt Automotive has been servicing my BMW for a couple of years now. No matter what happens to my car I know it s going to be okay because Hunt Automotive has my back. They have always done good honest work and my car comes back driving like it s brand new. I truly can t recommend this place enough they are the best mechanic shop in Mobile!

Hunt Automotive gives quality service. They have helped me many times from oil changes to changing my shifter interlock. Anytime they see something damaged or needing to be fixed they notify me and always try to give the best price. I d recommend them to anyone. And thank y all for taking care of my mini

I called them for a question concerning my car, the lady said the owner or technician would call me back, it's been 2 weeks. If you can't communicate with the people who keep you in business, please tell me that on the phone.

I am very happy I took a chance on Hunt. I took in my 08 Mini Cooper Base model that had a rattle near the timing chain. I was very concerned that I had chain issues, which can be very expensive. Hunt took my car in and had an answer back to me the next day. It was a simple fix and Hunt didn't take advantage knowing that I had come in expecting to spend a lot. They gave me an extremely fair price for the fix and were wonderful to deal with. I'll definitely be taking my car back to them...and knowing it's a Mini Cooper, I'll probably be there often. They seem to have a knowledge of this odd breed of cars and have no fear of working on them. They're equipped and prepared and good to work with.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had Hunt Automotive perform maintenance and repairs on my 2008 BMW 135i Convertible. About two weeks after the work was completed, I cranked up the car and backed out of the garage only to find oil spilling out from under my car. I shut the engine off but the oil kept coming. All seven quarts. I did my best using oil dry and chemicals to remove the stain on our 2021 new construction home s driveway, but to no avail, I had the car towed to Hunt and they agreed it was their fault. An o ring had been pinched during installation. Like a fuse, it lasted only so long. John at Hunt agreed to replace the oil and o rings and reimbursed us for the tow truck expense.I asked Hunt and my homeowners policy but neither were very interested in helping. I got quotes on repairing the drive, ranging from $4k to $10k. I went ahead and went with the lowest bid and had our driveway sealed which prevents the stain from coming through to the surface. Hunt checked with their insurance and said no way could they cover the repairs to our damaged concrete driveway. The cost out of my pocket was $4,000.00. I had to sell my car to cover the repairs. I would not recommend Hunt Automotive because of the issues I had with a simple maintenance job, and oil change. This was a horrific and expensive experience considering this was simple, routine maintenance.

I went to BMW of Mobile to get an oil change and have my car inspected they came back with over $8200 worth of repairs that were needed to my car and made it seem like my car was falling apart. I was told by 2 different people to go to Hunts for a second opinion and I was so glad I did. Nothing major was wrong with my car and it they were very quick and nice. I will go back to them for all repairs and highly recommend if you have BMW or Mini-Cooper. They will not rip you off like the dealership.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

By my estimation, they saved me a couple thousand dollars. Their diagnostic check indicated a repair that Mini Cooper was covering under a special extended warranty. They called Mini in Pensacola to confirm, and then advised that I take my car there so that it would be covered. The service manager in Pensacola told me that it normally would cost over $2000. Hunt's could have done the repair and charged me that money and I never would have known of the difference, but they didn't. They went above and beyond in fairness, honesty and good service and didn't even charge me very much for having run the diagnostic for me.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Big thanks to John and the team at Hunt Automotive. I was on vacation driving my old BMW and was have trouble with my steering hydraulics. After a frantic phone call, John called me back, made an appointment and took in my car for repair and a ride over to the rental agency. They got my car fixed right away and came in below estimate. Great guys. We are only in the Mobile area for a few weeks, but the brake warning light came on in our Mini. Did a google search and found Hunts. They got us in before we hit the road again. Efficient, friendly and reasonably priced. We re so happy to have found them. Definitely recommend.

Fast service. Excellent work. Friendly staff. I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. John and his staff explained everything to me (even when I didn't completely understand) and never made me feel silly about the questions I was asking. And I never felt like I was being charged unfairly for the work I had done. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough for BMW repairs.

I needed to get my water pump and thermostat replaced on my 535i BMW. Hunts was $773.00 cheaper than the BMW dealership. They also said they used BMW parts...and gave me a year warranty on parts and labor...said they couldn't give more because that's all BMW gives...but the initial savings is great!

I ve been to these ppl twice and each time I ve gotten duped by them! I ve spent right at $3000 with them for absolutely nothing! I take my car to them and drop it off, I end up picking my car up with the same problem all to just take right back to them so they can charge me more money! I will never give these ppl my business again and I will not recommend any one I know to go to them! They are nothing but a rip off! Bottom line!

I trust John and the boys to keep my E34 purring when I am unable to work on it myself. The original owner had maintained the car with Hunt as soon as the warranty was up.

They kept it for way too long. Past the promised date and broke other things in the process. Although they did fix the stuff they broke. And I believe they fixed the car .I hope .
