We brought 2 vehicles over time to Anderson Auto. This included replacing 2 injectors, oil change, etc.. At first I felt they were honest, but prices were little on the high side. I accepted the higher price because of the honesty. However, our last experience left me seeking a new repair shop.We had a 100k mile 2015 Chrysler T&C with symptoms of a misfire shortly after the engine warmed up. After a diagnosis they reported the engine was bad and had a hole in one of the cylinders. The repair was estimated @ $9k which included a new engine. They suggested I call around or go with a used engine but confirmed the engine block would need to be replaced. Before condemning the engine I had another repair shop recheck without giving them any history. They reported an injector was bad and could repair it for approx $800. Needless to say I reconfirmed with them and they assured me that is the issue. I approved the repair by the other shop and I still drive the Town and Country to this day 28k miles later, same original engine - new injector.I did go back to Andersons a few months later and reported this but, I was incredibly disappointed by the lack of concern the gentleman had regarding the absolutely wrong diagnosis and nearly taking $9k of my money for a $800 repair.I will never take another vehicle back and have since then steered others away from the shady practices going on. This is likely the cause of 1 mechanic and not the shop as a whole but, how was he hired in the first place, are they still employed, have others had similar experiences and just dont realize it. I never received a follow-up call from the service mgr. I spoke to and the apology I received was half hearted, "I am sorry that happened to you".

I had a great experience with this company. Needed my car towed, the process went smooth and fast. Special thanks to Richie who was the tow truck driver. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided great service and made sure everything was safe. I would like to thank dispatch ladies, they were very polite and patient. They made sure that I would get latest updates and provided quick solution for an emergency situation that happened in my case. Thank you again!

I was told that some one would be to tow my car in a hour. I called back a hr later and the lady Denise got an attitude with saying that they are behind and started over talking me when I asked to speak with the manager. I spoke with the manager she was very nice and helpful. In my opinion I will never use them again

Great shop. They fixed my company truck. With in a week. After we had it at the Ford dealership that could not figure it out. They have one of the best Ford Mechanic's in Alabama. Go check em out.

The lady and man in the office was super professional and nice. I had a rotation and balance done and they did not just do the job and send me on my way. they did the job and tried to fix the problem and even test drove it after to make sure everything was working properly. that is the only tire shop I ve ever seen do that. normally they just want your money and put you out the door but not this place. I definitely recommend them and the price is way cheaper than what I would ve expected I ve got 35 inch mud tires on 20 inch wheels everywhere else was charging 100+ dollars and a lot of the other places wouldn t even touch my tires because they were too heavy or too big this place was happy to do it and for reasonable price. By far the best Tire Shop I know of I live 45 minutes from this place and still would rather drive there than take my truck to anywhere else.Service: Tires

This location seemed to know what he was talking about as far as the automotive perspective was concerned. However, when I asked him if I can get the automotive part that would be needed to fix this job, he declined my offer. It makes me worry that he may try to charge me more for the part than I can get it myself for and I understand that he needs to make money also but I believe that is where the labor fees would come in at. But I would feel much more comfortable just knowing I saved a lil bit of money when it came down to it. But of course, once again this is just my opinion and I could be very wrong about my conclusion. But again, I want to mention that he did sound like he was a very through and knowledgeable man.

I am an owner of an automotive repair business in Florida. My daughter and her husband moved to Mobile, Alabama. Recently her Toyota Rav 4 wouldn't start and she was in need of finding a repair shop. After contacting my local A/C Delco representative, he obtained a recommendation for Anderson's Automotive in Mobile. I contacted them and were very professional and friendly. They got my daughter back on the road quickly and their prices were right on target and reasonable. I now feel confident that she has a place to go where she will be treated honestly and fairly in the future at Anderson's. Thank you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great prompt service with attention to detail and super communications.They did a awesome job on my AC system. Dave is a really good technician and Jimmy and Jeff were open and honest. Highly recommended!

My insurance company called them to come get my truck and myself. I took over 2 hours to come get me but the driver was professional and friendly. But I ended up with a dead battery sitting there with my 4ways on for such a long wait.

Im just disappointed in quality of service and work done. I paid 1700.00, for repairs in December 2020. My check engine light was on, they checked and gave me a price and I was told this would fix the problem. Less than a month later the checkengine came back on took it back, it was another $300 dollars. Now less tha three weeks later the check engine light is on again. I thought this place was reasonable, but i cannot keep paying them bonuses to fix my car. I ask them to do an oil change this last time and they did not do it. Done with Dave, Jason and the whole bunch, just done.I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANDERSON'S AUTOMOTIVE FOR CAR REPAIRS. Something is wrong, they should stand behind their work! Reporting them to BBB! Done they arent fixing the problem. I will not use them again! Pretty angry with them., they don't stabd behind their work, they say it was thus this time, disappointed just disappointed. Just because a church going perso recommends someone, dient mean their honest and good.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I can't imagine taking my family's vehicles anywhere else. Great service and clean waiting area. They work diligently to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Highly recommend!

Anderson towing is NOT a part of Anderson Automotive. Anderson Automotive is an auto repair shop and does not offer towing at all. These towing reviews are showing up to the wrong place.

Took Honda Pilot for a 115k mile tuneup and Jimmy and his crew did a great job looking over the car and replacing and repairing what has needed.Trustworthy and honest.
