Rae's Home Builders were very knowledgeable and professional. Our contractor Dallas did an excellent job rebuilding our patio deck. We were very pleased and highly recommend Dallas and his team.

Nice store and typically very clean. Aisles are usually well kept and the staff friendly. That said at times it can be hard to actually find staff if you need help with something. Typically I go to the return section to try and find someone to help me when I run into an issue. Also while I understand it is how stores are now doing these days it is sometimes sad to see no one at the actual registers and rather attempts to promote self checkout which most every afternoon/night I go is the only section open for checking out.

Horrible service and will not return again. Went there to order cabinets and was told that the people that work there will be in the next day and to come back. I return the next day only to be told that the people working won't be back until Friday and today is Wednesday, are you freaking serious?! No I won't return Friday, I'll take my money elsewhere because the first gentleman looked at the schedule and specifically said someone will be here TODAY not Friday. Everyone doesn't just sit at home and wait for someone to come in at home depot in the cabinet department. Madison location

We ordered a Bosch dishwasher from our local Home Depot, and our experience with the delivery and installation causes us to never wish to order any other appliances from your company, due to the following circumstances:- 05 Jan Dishwasher Purchased at Madison, AL Home Depot store- 11 Jan Dishwasher delivered, but install was denied because they said we had a faulty shutoff valve. Valve was replaced the same day by a plumber. Rescheduled for 18 January.- The 18 January installation was rescheduled to 22 January due to a local ice storm by Home Depot.- 19 January, I called Home Depot to change the POC to Curtis Norris and provide his phone number, and Home Depot involuntarily changed from 22 January to 24 January.- 24 January, the Home Depot installer again rescheduled the installation to 30 January because it was raining that day.- 30 January, the installers finally showed up late, and installed the dishwasher, but the junction box that Bosch uses would not allow the dishwasher to be pushed back into the dishwasher's allotted space. The dishwasher was hooked up to the water supply and electricity, but the dishwasher was sticking out of the cabinet. I told him that his installation was not satisfactory, but he said that was all he could do. He also became agitated when my husband told him over the phone that the installation was unsatisfactory. At that time, he called his Manager to describe what had transpired, but I went ahead and accepted the installation.- 31 January, I had a friend to install the dishwasher correctly.- We will never use Home Depot appliance delivery and installation services in the future, and we will advise any of our friends and relatives the same due to our terrible experience! Their appliance installations are done by a third party contractor that is not loyal to or show any empathy for Home Depot customers. They look for any excuse to delay fulfilling appliance orders for installation, and they do a crappy job whenever they finally arrive.Curtis Norris

Went into this location to purchase a washer/dryer combo and was helped by a man named Stig. He was friendly and knowledgeable about everything I asked and made sure I had everything needed for my install and also made sure I had the best deal.

I would give zero stars if the review process would let me. I ordered online but the delivery was coming from the Madison office not Florence. The delivery was scheduled from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and was still not delivered. I called the main store in Madison and they hung up on me the first time then when I called back they placed me on hold numerous times. The customer service representative was talking to someone else while placing me on hold over and over again. Then gave me another number and told me they are not responsible for delivery and its another department that handles that does delivery but they sent me to the original online number that directed me to the store that was suppose to take care of the delivery. This is why I never deal with the stores in Madison because they are terrible. I thought the material was coming from Florence like last time. This store in Madison has been and will always be terrible!!

What can I say about home Depot they are an outstanding place to get your DIY projects on the go and to find any type of supplies for outdoor and indoor projects. If it's gardening needs that you have this store has everything you need or want. The staff there are knowledgeable friendly and very helpful. If you have a disability they have things to help you with your needs. I recommend this store to everyone.

I normally steer clear of Home Depot because you can never find an associate. Today, not only did i find one, but he was courteous and very helpful, even those the store didn't have what I wanted.

Not sure if every employee in home Depot is triened this way, but all the staff in this place is exceptionally helpfully. They are all good human beings.

Standard Home Depot. Didn't have what I was after, they don't carry more heavy duty screen door handles, of this type. That said it should have whatever else you're looking for be it tools, hardware, or if you're in the mood, snacks and drinks.

Hello; I just would like to say that I always find it a joy to shop at the Madison store. The personnel are always willing to assist where needed! I've shopped here since they were down on University Drive. My last visit was no different! Ms. Barbara was my cashier, her willingness to assist in my shopping impressed me so, I decided to go back and get more. Thank you, Ms. Barbara...John

I shop here pretty regularly and don t usually have a problem, but if you are looking to get them to do work on your home, save yourself the hassle and just don t! It is quite literally a trap. They put things in their contracts that they don t tell you about in person! They take your money and then leave everything up to a third party which basically means your contractor will not be timely on anything and if the work is bad that s not their problem. You will wait way past the time they estimated you and then Home Depot will refuse to give you a refund. Get an independent contractor for any actual services.

Recently had a great experience at the Lawson's Ridge store in Madison, AL. It started with Terry in flooring who was very helpful in getting the tile I needed. Then Donna at checkout was very cheerful and double-checked that I was getting the correct shoe mold for my application. Lastly, in the parking lot, Courtney offered to help me load my purchases into my trunk. There were times not so long ago at this store that you were lucky to get any help from anyone. I went three for three on this trip! Well done Home Depot.

The only company I know that's has a whole employess steal throughout the year and never get caught. Dude literally clocks in and stays in the bathroom or leaves work. Narcissist really do manipulate the system I guess if you screw the employees at work you get a promotion. Now when nyah was stealing they let her go but Mr. Edward Mcneal gets a pass huh smh the system is rigged for the demons

Found shop vacuum online for $79.00, model 4002. Bought and paid online for same. Daughter picked up model 4000 by mistake. I called and explained what happened. Each unit were identical except 4002 was a Home Depot special purchase of the Rigid 4000, except the normal 99 price was 79 and it had extra accessories. They let us swap out the 4000 for the 4002 with no paperwork, no hassle. Yes I only paid 79 for the first one online. Thanks a Lot......Cecil

I recently purchased a new garbage disposal and received excellent service from three gentlemen. They helped me select the disposal and was very courteous. One was a retired vet and worked in the windows and doors department but helped me buy and get a installation service Best Home Service. I had to wait only one day before installation. The young technician was very courteous and knew his job - installed in a very timely manner. Thanks to the other two gentlemen who helped with my purchase - retrieved a cart for me and helped with finding the installation service on line. Love my Home Depot in Madison, AL.

I spent 30 minutes wandering this store and being given the runaround trying to find a simple replacement glass pane. Four employees told me four different aisles. It wasn t located at any of them. I went to customer service, and they gave me a fifth aisle number, and it wasn t there either. I went to Lowes and got it on the first try. By the way, Home Depot doesn t sell glass anymore, but management forgot to tell the employees.

Had to go in there and find something electrical for Mom. While she was trying to look for something people were very nice help her out she found exactly what she needed. Loved the outdoor section for flowers and other things was really nice. Case you needed to start that Garden you always wanted. Or at least that flower bed that you've been needing to get to. Or the brand new lawn mower that you always wanted.

Very rude employee at the customer service desk. Bad work location for a rude angry employee. Will not look at you when speaking and condemn you for not having a smart phone. No smart phone, no military discount. Years ago, Home Depot was built on customer service which is long gone.

My GO TO Home Improvement place. Love this Store in particular. The Management here is WONDERFUL!
