Got brakes replaced and they did a great job. Service was fast and a great price. They kept me up to speed on the work and even pointed out some things they thought I would need to address soon. Will be using them again in the future for car services.

So this was an experience like no other,let s start with I was stranded live 35 minutes away I was at work no other options1. I needed a tow, CHECK2. It was after 6pm they closed at 7- no issue3 . I needed a tire, install all CHECK4 . I wasn t in the best of moods - Jay and Harlene, help me understand it was going to be ok, and it was and really educating me on why the road hazard coverage is important, I learned the hard way..The End result I was able to get my car in running order, I then was able to get back to my job and get home at the end of my shift Another Great experience with the Pepboys BRAND The entire staff pitched in to help me have a better Day , and I m very appreciative Sadly to I have to add to this review and it s not positive, I called today 2/1/24 and my call was answered by the rest lady and she wouldn t allow me to talk act as if she was psychic and knew what I was about to say and then when I asked her for her name, she refused to give it to me and expressed that she was the manager of the shop. Wow one conversation can bring a person perception From 100 to Zero The only reason I m not changing it from a five star is because my first experience was stellar

I would rate this place 0 stars if i could. The time my husband and I have been taking our cars here, we've been scammed the whole time. First we had an issue with my car. It needed a new tire because my old tire was leaking. They didn't replace the tire. They swapped the tires around in my car and I had a flat the minute i pulled in my driveway back from picking up my car.The second incident is my husband's car. We went to get that repaired because we assumed that there was a mechanical issue. They told us that wheel bearings needed replacing. They claimed to have replaced them and we dished out over $1000 for the service. The issues went away temporarily. They started back up again and we took it to the dealership. The dealership made us aware that Pep Boys had NEVER replaced the wheel bearings. My husband and I were putting our lives at risk as well as our 4 year old daughter's life at risk because Pep Boys told us they did a service and we had to find out it was never done. A tire could have flown off the car in the middle of the drive because this repair was neglected.Do NOT come here for anything. Nothing. At all. Just don't.

I went in thinking I had a basic brake job and that s the least of what I had. Chris & Adam assured me they were doing what they could to find the parts I needed to get the job done. I was working on my end and heard the part is on back order and we aren t sure when it ll be available. It only took a week and they called to let me know my car was ready. The best service I ve ever received when it came to getting my car serviced. I ll definitely only be using this pep boys from now on.

Chris Customer service Rep was condescending. I brought my car in because it was making a noise. the diagnosis was my serpentine pulleys. They claimed to have fixed the problem after charging $650. Brought the car back after a busy week still making the same noise. I got a new problem Water pump issue, Chris quotes the price to fix it at $1250. I take it to the dealership and they fix it for half the price. I not even sure that I need the pulleys fixed in the first place. This is the kind of business that gives mechanics a bad name.

Pep Boys has lost its pep. Two lift racks broke. Took 4 hours to get tires put on. Couldn't get an alignment done because the racklift was broke. To add, I also have the lifetime alignment service. Then they damaged a bolt on the rim.

Poor excuse for a repair shop. Took it in for a coolant flush and was basically told they would do it because they were not sure it was the problem. They wasted my day and left the window down and doors unlocked all day. Please save yourself headache and go to a Firestone.

Invoice was not same as talked about. Came in for a tire repair wanted to repair two tie rods on driver front side of car. That was not the part of the car needing to be looked at. Wanted the the drive side rear to be looked at.

Appointments, at least at this Madison location, are pointless. When I got to the store I told them I would wait for my car in their waiting area. They took the car into the shop 1-1/2 hour later than my appointment time. I booked the service through Amazon at tire purchase time and that information was never transferred to the store based on the info provided by the service advisor, even though Pepboys did confirm my appointment via email. So good thing I called the day before arriving there so I could check, and ended up then booking a new service appointment. In addition to the four tire installation and balancing I requested, I also asked for 4 wheel alignment and when the car was given back to me they told me that they didn't do it because the alignment guy left early . So I had to make another appointment with a different car service center to have my car alignment done. On top of that, my car, which was spotless when I arrived at the shop, was given back to me filthy. The door handle, door sill, steering wheel and driver s rubber mat were all smeared with grease from hands and shoes. Unbelievable. Never again.

Make sure you check all your service get done to your car because i took my truck for alignment and requested my tie rod ends be grease up 3 of them one day later in birmingham i go under my truck and dry as hell but they made sure they charge i end up buying a grease gun with grease tube for $27.48 removed both tires and did them my self

The one on Sullivan has been really disappointing recently. Inside staff doesn't seem to know what's going on although really nice. I will find somewhere else to take my vehicles moving forward.

We were on vacation and came out of our hotel to a flat tire. We waited on a tow truck over 2 hours to inflate it to gett to the nearest Pep Boys 2 miles down the road at 3305 S. MEMORIAL PKWY, HUNTSVILE, AL. Waited 3 hours to fix it. We traveled 13 miles & finally, got our first meal of the day. After a 30 minute meal, walked out to the SAME FLAT TIRE. Fortunately another Pep Boys was a block away. They said obviously the last guy didn t know how to patch a tire. This Pep Boys was at 105 IVORY PL., MADISON, AL. By now it is going on 5 p.m on Sunday, October 15, 2023. So, we decided to rent a room at the LaQuinta a couple blocks away, just in case this patch didn't hold. We did not want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere on a Sunday night. Good thing we did!!! Monday morning we walk out to a FLAT TIRE, YES THE SAME ONE! So we filled it with air from the gas station next to our hotel, and drove down to MATHIS TIRE. We got a NEW TIRE, had to purchase a new sensor, had a extra hotel bill and my husband lost a days work.I am fully disappointed and enraged with your service. This massive blunder cost us a bundle. Train your people better. It was a little nail. Lost work one day for Monday $500.00, tire & sensor $278.00, hotel bill $118.00. If your people were trained well, it should have only cost us $24.00. What a pitiful experience!!!! We finally got back to Memphis by 3pmWe recommend MATHIS TIRE!!!!

We needed to get our battery replaced on our truck and we took it here. We had a wonderful experience. The women who greeted us at the front desk, Morgan, was very friendly and helpful. They were able to get it back and work on it extremely quickly. Our technician, Shannon did great work. Overall we are very pleased and will most definitely be back for other work in the future!

If I could give Pep Boys in Madison a 100 star rating I would!! Absolutely the best experience in the automotive industry I have ever had! Mo at the front desk is THE BEST!! That s the personality and attitude you want to be greeted with when you are spending money with a company. They kept me informed the whole time my vehicle was with them. They did not do anything without my permission first. They explained every cost in detail and WHY it needed to be done, however left it fully up to me to make the decision. I will recommend this business to EVERYONE!! Thank you Pep Boys in Madison for treating me with kindness and respect!! Mo is a great host knowledgeable with my situation and each customer that came in after me. She was on a hustle to set up the store front moving tires out for display when I first got there. I took my car here to get four tires replaced. I was greeted by very courteous and professional young lady at the counter. My interaction with everyone here was pleasant.The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I brought my car here 30 minutes before my appointment time, which was 11:00 am. 5:00 pm rolls around and I still haven't heard anything from them. I called and I was told the person that replaced my tires wasn't around so he had to be contacted. I received a call back about 15-20 minutes later telling me my car was ready.I was able to pick my car up with no issues. I just wished they had cleaned off the greasy substance on my tires before giving it back to me.

March 2023 we had four new tires put on our car. After about 2 weeks of my husband driving the car he kept complaining that something wasn t right. Then the car started to get 10 miles less to a gallon. He looks the car over only to discover they out the wrong size tires on the car! We called them immediately it took them days to get in the correct tires. Didn t call us we had to call them when they actually did arrive. Then they wanted to charge us per mile that we drove on the old ones even though it wasn t our mistake. Then because the tires they put on where the wrong size we were charged the wrong price so it was $400 more then we originally paid to leave with the correct tires. They didn t end up charging us per mile on the wrong tires only because we refused to pay that. Very scary experience because what if it was something more serious or on a vehicle that someone didn t know how to check their own tires. What else are they missing and messing up if they can t even put the right tires on a car. We have had done work here before and never had problems but we will be looking for a different place next time.

I can not recommend Pep Boys in Madison enough. These gentlemen have went above and beyond to get my car back on the road after having a blowout. Needless to say needed 2 new tires but got an amazing deal on 4 tires and they fixed my rims, did my alignment, and replaced the strut that was messed up due to this all. The area director David Smith and his crew Chris and Tony stayed late and went above and beyond for me tonight. I highly recommend these guys. Thank you all for staying over and getting me back on the road.

AMAZING SERVICE HERE ! Hunter was the young man working on my vehicle. 100000/10 recommend him for ANY services needing to be done on your vehicle. He did above and beyond what I could have asked for. I originally went in for air to be put in a tire that was looking low. Hunter was more than willing to fix more than just that on my vehicle. I did not notice my tail lights where out , and he brought it to my attention and fixed it instantly free of charge. He also fixed my tire and put a new valve on it for me. He also informed me on future services that will need to be done soon. I couldn't have asked for a better employee to help me! He was OUTSTANDING! Also, Remember to tip your mechanics!! They deserve it.
