Great customer service! Went in for an oil change and was very appreciative of the extras that were provided. The inspection they performed was accompanied with detailed pictures of their diagnostics. That is extremely helpful. Sometimes we re led to believe that auto mechanics are just out to get your money, however I don t feel that way with Meineke. While I was there, overheard a conversation where a customer had asked to have something replaced but the mechanic explained that they did not think that was the issue. They could have replaced it and not have shared that information to the customer.

Before today, I had previously been to this location one time for an emergency repair, but today I just needed a simple alignment and an oil change. Simple enough, right? That's what I had thought. I get there, they say it'll be 2 hours, which is understandable. It took 5. I live 45 minutes away, and I had no other transportation, so I was stuck there the whole time only to learn that my car had been done a whole 1 1/2 hours before I was informed of it. Also, watch out for Jack (the "regional manager") if you're there. He'll try to upsell you everything short of a new car. Plus, he was yelling and cursing at some of the other workers there in front of me, which is highly unprofessional. Don't air your grievances out in front of the customers.I will say, they do quality (if not overpriced) work, so they get 2 stars. Still, I'd stay away from this location, there's better options.

Service was prompt, professional and courteous. They helped me work with a parts supplier to get a warranty honored which saved ma a lot of money. As far as I can tell the work was high quality. Labor cost a little more than I was expecting but is probably competitive.

Brought our late model (2006) Dodge in to troubleshoot a persistent engine light (P301). Nick and Mark quickly diagnosed the problem to a faulty fuel injector. They expedited repairs since the van was a conversion for wheelchair use and our only transportation. Thanks Meineke for a job well done. I highly recommend this shop and we will definitely use them again for our future automobile repairs.

Please allow me to share my positive feedback and concerns. I have visited the Meineke location in Madison, AL for the past 2 years. I would like to believe the manager and staff are knowable and are ready to help meet the customers needs. However, my last 3 visits have been less than satisfactory. I have had braking issues with my 2018, Volkswagen Atlas. Meineke initially change all 4 brakes and rotors and I was given a lifetime warranty.Since then I have been back 2 times and each time I leave with braking issues within 1 month and the last time, 1 day. Each time I recently serviced my vehicle here, I have been told that the previous manager has been fired. This store needs much improvement. I continue to remain disappointed and dissatisfied as my car brakes still needs work. Lastly, after a 3:04:39 wait in store, my car was dirty as I entered the vehicle. The tech's dirty hands rubbed off of my beige interior on the armrest, door handle, steering wheel, and drive shift. (See attached) This is so unaccepted for Meineke. You all can and should do better. The manager tried to help as best as could go. I appreciated him trying to work with me.Service: Brakes

I when there to aid a good friend that was waiting for his trucks new shocks to be installed, and bring him a snack ( nutter butter cookies, diet sprite and some sausage cheese balls ) as I was waiting I notice how clean the place was and polite everyone was , professional, hard to find today. My friend was very satisfied with his service,( truck rides like a new one ). I returned this week for service on my truck, . Glad I went Will return, nice to have an honest establishment near by, my Keys at Mieneke

I got my oil changed at Meineke. They were very friendly. They not only told me of some problem areas but took pictures and sent them to my phone. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Terrible. Just terrible... One word review if it were necessary.Scheduled a service over the phone, told the guy everything I wanted done. Tire balance, rotation and break check and alignment. Then gave name, number and address as he requested that information.Showed up for the appointment on time at 8 am. Had to give all of the above information again, which made me wonder what the first guy was typing while I was one the phone.So after repeating everything and then sitting in a very uncomfortable and poorly stocked waiting room listening to the incessant droning of Red Bull tv, interspersed with Meineke adds.The first red flag that should have caught my attention, was the "mechanic" coming in and asking what way I wanted the lettering on my tires facing...What was he doing removing the tires?? All I asked for was balance and rotation.Then I was informed that the tire balancer was too small for my size tires. These are stock size tires on an unaltered Tundra, mind you. Yes they are on Rhino wheels, but no other garage or shop has ever had trouble balancing them.Now I did know that the back breaks where squeaking and so I assumed that they would need replacement, so I expected my total time to be around hour and half; two hours tops. At the two hour mark I walk outside to escape the droning beat of Red Bull tv and see the guy cussing like a sailor as he is trying to put one of my tires back on the wheel.It is also worth noting that the front desk clerk had disappeared from the front desk and was hiding in the garage. Every time he saw me his greeting was "how we doing?" to which my response was, "I don't know... How are we doing?" And then he would explain to me how difficult my truck was being.My truck was obviously the culprit.So then they FINALLY get to the alignment after three hours of not balancing the tires and replacing just the back breaks. This process takes another two hours.I work 2nd shift and my wife was asking if she should come pick me up, but I assure her that they should be finished soon.They align it and take it for a drive. At which point I get the "how we doing?" again. After my response he tells me that the TPMS will not reset. That this is normal and might take a few miles to reset itself.I know that the "mechanic" broke it while removing tires that did not need to be removed, but I kept quiet. I just wanted my truck back and to put this place in it's rearview mirror forever.Never will I return to this place.Had to schedule the repairs for the this "maintenance" at Christian brothers, they said they could easily balance my tires and repair the broken TPMS sensor.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from Meineke. The Shop Manager NICK was very courteous and did a great job, that really goes along way at this day and age, good to know there are some real ones out there that will hold up to honesty and integrity

Great customer service and turn around time; dropped off my car for maintenance in the morning and got to pick it up that same afternoon. I'm sometime so knows zero about cars, but Chris never made me feel out of my depth or like I was being taken advantage of. I got only what I needed done, no more no less, and he walked me through the process with a lot of care and detail.Highly recommend this place, especially if you're the type of person who isn't familiar with cars or aren't used to talking to shops yourself

January 2023 I took my BMW for a coolant and oil leak. I was charged around $4,000. They worked on it on and off for one year. My car stayed there for months, then I would get it back and drive it for a day or two sometimes and then the same problem would occur again and again. Every time I took it back they broke something, like my bumper, my driver door interior came out, my windows didn t go up Last time I took back my car in mid December 2023 the last manager said it won t leak anymore (by the way 6 managers changed in 1 year). Then last week (first week of January 2024) my car start leaking again and and my husband took the car back to the shop and the newest manager that came from California said another $6,500 to fix oil and coolant leak.The worst mechanic place on earth, I was without my car on and off almost a year spent $4,000 and my car is worse than before. Never ever use this place.

This was the worst experience that I ever had. With a car place they had my car. The first time for over 30 days and then when I took my car back. They have broken, they fired everybody that worked in the shop. The new gentleman, that was their Chris was so helpful. And he did everything he could to fix my car. But it took him almost 3 weeks to fix everything that they broke on my car. Shout out to Chris because without him. I don't know where my car would be.

I will never return to this place. I went in and told them that the check engine code said to replace a valve solenoid. I told him I wanted it replaced and the Google estimate was no more than $500. They charged me $170 to analyze the engine. This was on Veterans Day, and I am a Veteran; and my active duty son was there. They tried to upsell me to $1800 in repairs. Then they decreased it to $1200 in repairs. I had just completed putting $3000 of work into the car. All the things they were recommending were not recommended previously by Firestone or the other auto repair place. I had just completed putting $3000 of work into the car. Everything they recommended was new. I am so disappointed they tried to upsell a Veteran on Veterans Day, and act like they were doing me a favor. I will never go back to this auto repair shop, and will never use my Meineke Auto Services again. Please be careful when going to them. They will try to upsell you on everything. The manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful not only to me as a customer but also to the other employees. When he entered the building he immediately started berating someone using profane language. When I called to let them know my car still needed repair he talked over me and refused to listen to the issues. The actual mechanics were very helpful.

Very friendly and courteous staff who did a regular oil change and some quick diagnosis of another problem. They were very efficient even though they were temporarily short-staffed. Highly recommend.

Quoted me $3k for an issue that I didn t have. I later found out from a mechanic friend that the problem we actually had should have been closer to $150. Keep an eye out for Jack if he s the one giving you the recommendation, they re pretty sharky at this location. Be safe and get a second opinion or avoid them all together.

Not a good place to work. They don't train their managers or team to what the standards are at hire. We had to figure it out on our own. The pay is not good either for managers you get paid for 48 hours but work 70 80 hours a week and to make decent mo ey you got to work open to close 6 days a week . Finally you don't have no help up front on the sales counter and good luck getting a day off there is no ine to cover for you. So think twice before going to this place of work.

Great place! My car was having so many issues from a previous person fixing it & this shop really helped me out & fixed my car without the long wait time, communicated very well & helped me so much with prices didn t over charge me & made sure my vehicle was safe for me & my children! This establishment & team members, management are amazing I will always take my vehicle here for any service needed ! Chris was amazing

We spent $700 a week ago repairing my husbands car. After picking it up we realized the A/C we spent $200 on for them to supposedly fixed was not working. Took it back this week to have them diagnose and they quoted another $500. My husband told them he needed to discuss it with me and he would pick it up during off hours and to put the keys inside. He picked it up this morning and they did not even put everything back together, just left everything torn out! We will not be taking our cars back there. Once again I had a great experience from this location. The representative was helpful and very polite. In addition to receiving a text pointing to the breakdown of my inspection (which I really appreciated because it was really thorough), the representative kept me updated throughout the service. Great job and highly recommend. This is my go-to place for my car servicing needs.

Chris, the recent new manager, and his team really helped me out! Pepboys didn t put my oil filter in correctly and it caused an oil leak. Luckily, it did not ruin my engine. They were able to tell me what happened and why. They ran diagnostics to ensure nothing else was wrong with my car. They worked efficiently and updated me. They were careful to ensure I approved of anything they were going to do before performing it. Chris even offered to help me get Pepboys to reimburse me since they caused the damage. Super thankful to Chris and his team!! I overheard him say he recently became the manager there and has hired all new staff, so please don t let any past problems cloud your judgement. I m beyond thankful for their honest and hard work.

Don't go here. Total rip off. Had warranty to fix car and they wanted 1400.00 over what warranty would pay. 90.00 charge just to pick up my vehicle and move to another shop. Other shop did work for warranty price. AGAIN DON'T GO HERE!!!!!
