We landed here for the month and had a great stay! We had a chance to hike all of the nearby trails and enjoy the weather here. It did get cold a few times but not bad all and all.Brandy was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better stop.We hiked a few of the nearby trails and made a stop up to "Unclaimed Baggage" in Scottsboro.Nearby activities: Unclamied Baggage

One of the cleanest well maintained campgrounds there is. Mostly folks that are 40 and older. Very quiet at night usually by 8pm. Very safe and has some great people. There are not lots of kids here, most of the long term folks are retired. Great fishing and fun activities for adults.

After seeing a recommendation of Windemere Cove from someone in an RV group on Facebook, we changed our plans and booked a month here. We are thrilled we did! This place is so incredibly peaceful and quiet. It's a fabulous place to decompress and chill out. Their lake views are amazing! We are here for a couple more weeks, and taking chairs and drinks out on their dock at night for happy hour is the best! The sites are basic, but they are all paved, large enough for big rigs, and super clean. The staff members are as friendly and as helpful as anyone can be. They have a beautiful clubhouse and swimming pool. We have met some terrific people here (rentiers as well as lot owners) and everyone is loving it. If you have a boat, bring it. They have a nice launch to Lake Guntersville within the park. This place will stay on our list as a "go to" place to visit again.

This park is very quiet! I think they are looking to sell all the shots and make it a private resort because they want you to buy. Everything is done on the internet. No one is in the office for campers. Pool isn't heated. It is a beautiful spot to camp though. Water and mountains make it very peaceful. Road to come in is winding but we made it with a 42 ft 5th wheel. Nice stay.

This is a private, gated RV park with plenty of amenities.I own my lot and enjoy my neighbors.Safety: Gated and people watch out for one another.Walkability: Plenty of room to walk.

Beautiful park. There were a few things that seemed odd to me. First of all No garbage pick up. You had to haul it all the way behind the office. With as many running around in golf carts, they should have curb side pick up like more resorts. There s only 2 washers & 2 dryers in separate rooms. I didn t think the office staff was not very friendly either. Overall nice park & would go back. Lots of people have bought lots & living there which this park was designed for.

This place is for permanent residents. You aren t allowed to have a trash can outside or hang wet bathing suits outside. There are no fire rings at each site. It s catered towards people who stay there as residents. The residents are the snobbiest people I ve ever seen. They barely speak to you. The facilities are nice, the pool is nice, the sites are grassy and well-kept, but this is not what I think of when I go camping; this is more of an upscale camper neighborhood.

It's a beautiful rv park for the elderly. my wife & I carried 2 of our grand children cbamping, so I thought. No camp fires on any camp lot, one huge community pit whea down at the lake front, no play ground, and worst of all no kids. Weekend renters weren't allowed in work-out area. The kids were in a vacent lot next door on a walk about and we're told by an employee they were on private property. We didn't feel welcome.Nice pool area. Good fishing.Don't recomend to weekend camping w/ the kids.

Excellent place to stay! Concrete level pads. Some pull thrus but those are primarily taken by people who have bought site. A few miles on narrow 2 lane road along Guntersville lake but we did fine with 40ft and tow car. Beautiful spot on the lake with great amenities and local sightseeing

Well it s a nice campground but we had absolutely no phone service, not even able to text. Internet is so bad you can t keep WiFi open. We had three tv stations that were spotty. Thankful we brought dvds. We stayed for three days. There isn t a picnic table so bring a table. People own most of the spots. The staff are very nice but we will probably not go back

Horrible experience. Staff is very unfriendly. Basically, they aren't friendly to weekenders. If you aren't a permanent resident they make it as uncomfortable as they can for you. Can't use the clubhouse, only members are allowed. They use COVID as an excuse. I can understand why they aren't full of residents. The staff and members are snobby. They don't like children at all. They don't want children on bikes, battery operated 12v scooters or 16 year olds on golf carts. Note: The state of Alabama thinks they can operate a vehicle but this "resort" thinks they aren't capable of a golf cart. They only have a dock, firepit (communal) and pool. How exclusive does that feel? We have stayed at WAYYYYY nicer RV resorts with more amenities than their exclusive sites offer. Good luck having full occupancy! We were under a tornado warning and were told to retrieve a key from a strangers site should the weather get bad. So we are supposed to go to a site at 6am on Sunday and ask a snobby resident to borrow a key to their mediocre clubhouse to dodge a tornado??? So protecting their precious clubhouse is more important than offering shelter in life threatening situations? They shouldn't call this a RV resort, they should call it a concrete slab with a small sliver of what other resorts offer. They griped at kids, about kids etc. After our first encounter with "Karen" we just wrote it off as a one time thing but it was relentless all weekend. "Karen" harassed our kids and us all weekend. Sunday, our last day finally, HOORAY, we instructed our kids if there were more encounters to say whatever they wanted or felt, no punishment in store for them. My teenage daughter did just as instructed and let her have it. Sometimes, you can only be so nice. Note to resort: if you want to be a resident only resort, don't rent to outsiders! We are normal people with good jobs and my relatives camping with us have a massive real estate portfolio that Trumps this "resort." We weren't hillbillies or trash but were treated as such. I wish I had a special pie to feed Ms. Hilly, I mean "Karen".

Very nice, quiet and peaceful park/community. We didn't stay here long as we were just driving by but our overall experience was very nice. We might come back if we are in the area to see what else is there to do.

Definitely a place tailored to long term owners. If you are looking for a camping experience go to Guntersville state park. There are no fire pits or shade at the sites. They do keep great care of the lots, but not what we were looking for.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. Very poorly maintained. Every insect on the planet lives here. Be very careful, these people will cheat you when you've left. You pay for electricity during your stay and they charge your credit card more after your gone. Very bad place.

Our second time here. Beautiful campground with paved level lots. Sits on a quiet bay off the Tennessee river, Lake Guntersville. Perfect for kayaking.

False advertising. The Wi-Fi is trash yet they say it is good. Verizon isn't good here ether. Good luck on getting your hot-spot to work and getting good Wi-Fi. They promised you have cable and you don't. You get like a little over 10 channels. My family and I had to use Google Cast to watch football and NASCAR but even that was hard to do. I highly don't recommend this camp ground if you want to watch your favorite sports teams with your family/friends, if you have online college, and anything like that. I recommend it if you want to escape the fast past cities and society. It's very relaxing tbh. The lake is beautiful! And the camp ground is stunning! It's a good get away.

Beautiful, charming, and a surprisingly quiet place for a holiday weekend get-a-way! Everyone was extremely helpful, polite, and friendly. No issues or regrets from this first time visitor. We will be back soon!

Beautifully maintained campground on the Tennessee River near Langston, AL. Views of the river and mountain. Wonderful building and kitchen for rallies with a view of pool and river from main room.

Great place, but wish club house and showers were open 24 hours, should invest in key pad.
