January 15, 2021, my starter went out on my kia seltos 2021. They ordered parts from kia, which they said it cost me over 600 dollars. I live 2 hours away. My car broke down on March 4 with the same problem. They should be warranty on the part. Since I'm 2 hours away, I was going to get another mechanic, put it in, and bring it back to them when I can. They told me they would have to do it and exchange it for another. I'm 2 hours away. I I'm sure they were away to help me get my money back. Lost over 600 dollars and now paying get parts and labor again. To me, something not right about these people should be able to get money back on a part that just lasts 1 month and a half. I wonder if they can come get my car 2 hours away, but guess is what it is they don't care. They also said kia said they would have me tow my car 2 hours away and they would have to test and change the part. But I talked to kia and he said another mechanic could test the starter. And give them a written paper that it was a bad starter and I could take the part to them and get my money back. He said probably need contact bbb about this. Just a week I pay a mechanic 100 dollars to put the starter in which brought at autozone which I have a lifetime warranty. I can take it out if goes bad and get a refund with no problem. My car crank up and it took him less than a hour.

Had a $700.00 and the the same problem that I look it for. + 3 new problems I didn't have when I look I took in. And nobody new why.

Landers is a place you want to go to get your truck or car worked on. He does excellent work at a reasonable price. Scott is a stand-up guy who is straightforward and honest with you. Had an alignment done on wife car. They explained exactly what was wrong and how they adjusted it . Car no longer vibrates

I don't exactly remember how I happened up on trying Landers for my car repair business many years ago, but I'm sure glad I did. They have always been the best and Shannon really keeps one up to date all throughout the process. I have recommended them to many people and a few have been smart enough to use their services as well. Just when I thought my experiences couldn't get anymore satisfactory, I discovered they offer discounts for veterans!

Wish I was back in Bama. Can't get a mechanic up in Illinois these guys do good work at a fair price. Only downside to this place is they usually booked at least a week in advance.

I been using them for 20 years. The work is great and they watch out for me. They even corrected the poor work done by the Buick dealership. (Warranty work.) Scott is good!!!

Wonderful staff! Shannon is so sweet an will take care of you. An Tim an Scott are great mechanics, if you leave your vehicle with them it's in good hands.

Landers automotive repair is a great Business to get your car repaired at!The lady at the front desk very nice professional And knowledgeable about car parts she also keeps you informed on the progress of your car.The mechanics that works there are great they are fast they get to your car immediately and figure out what the problem is and fix it.I definitely recommend anyone who needs their car fixed to take it to them.Five star rating for me my Personal experience there.!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have multiple cars but I have this civic that always has problems and they always fix it asap and do an awesome job for best prices. Also great customer service. I will never go to any other place beside Landers for auto service. Thank you Landers for such great service.

The mechanics there are extremely knowledgeable and do great and honest work. Scott the owner is a awesome guy. He's the only person I trust to work on my vehicles.

I'm a big believer in trying to support local businesses, especially "Mom & Pop" small business owners such as Landers. But they have to do their part and Landers was a BIG FAIL! I needed 2 new wheels and tires, and despite telling them to go ahead and upcharge me for overnight delivery, they ordered replacement wheels with normal delivery... and when the wheels arrived, they had ordered the wrong wheels! But the most egregious act was promising to call me and then closing up shop and not calling me and notifying me of their mistake, and keeping my car over the weekend with no notification. Ultimately took my car to the dealership and they did in less than 36 hours what Landers could not do in a week. NEVER, EVER AGAIN! ----- Response to Owner's Reply: Potential customers here should be advised - The owner misrepresents the facts in this matter. I was the one who contacted them on Friday morning (car had been delivered Monday afternoon from Walmart because replacement wheels for that vehicle were not in their supply chain - not because Walmart "was not good enough" per the business owners implication) and was told by Shannon (co-owner) that my wheels were in Oxford per the tracking label. I then questioned that "if the tracking info shows the wheels still in Oxford, they probably would not be delivered today". She then stated "No, they are out for delivery". Now comes the most salient point - I then requested that she call me THAT DAY (Friday) to 1) to let me know when the wheels came in and 2) to let me know when I may expect to pick my car up that evening, or if not, when I may expect it. I never received a phone call, and when I went to their business to check on my car at 4:30pm, they had closed early (Their hours of operation state 8:30am - 5:00pm). I think the lesson for potential customers in this from both my experience and the owners acerbic response to a critical but legitimate review is simply this - "CAVEAT EMPTOR" ("Let the buyer beware").

Scott fixed my car very reasonably, and saved me from a trip to the Nissan dealership.Everyone is honest and very nice.Will be my go to mechanic.

Know how to fix basic parts and look up how to long it should take to fix other parts. I helped someone fix their car that Landers wanted $200 plus for that was a five minute fix and a $15 part. They will take advantage of you!!

There are the only ones I take my cars to there honest and very reasonably and respected Tim is one of the best Mechanic He knows what he is doing I only leave reviews when I have something good to say Tim keep up the good work

Idk what to say. I wanna give 5 stars just cause I really like these people. Good people. Just took a while and maybe a little too much changing parts to find the solution that I had written in the car. Granted, I do have a 1999 Mazda Miata that was the problem. O can drive it good but the check engine light is still on and my window motor and side mirrors won't t work correctly. Idk id it is an electrical problem or what but even though it is a 1999 Miata , it only has less than 60,000 miles on it so this makes me wonder....
