The experience I had with Tom Williams and David Poovey were excellent. I can t say the same for State Farm insurance but that wasn t their fault. The repairs were so good you couldn t tell there had been an accident. David communicated extremely well and went above our expectations during the repair process. I would highly recommend this collision center for any accident repairs!

Tom Williams Collision Center has done great work for me. I've taken my car (2012 Mini Cooper S) twice, once for full frontal collision repair requiring major engine part replacement, and again to repair somewhat minor hood damage incurred from loose road debris which fell from a commercial truck. They seem thorough ensuring vehicles are restored as close to new as possible, using correct parts. Most recently, they cared enough to repaint the hood when their first application "fish eyed." My car is a unique color, and they have matched it perfectly. They worked seamlessly with my insurance, and my Collision Advisor, Jeff Price, was friendly and kept me well informed of the repair process.

worse collision center ever. No star is the honest review. Please read this before taking your car there. There is no customer service. There is no actual respect to people time and money and cars. Starting with Tracey, the front desk lady: poor customer service. She blocks calls and she is useless. The worst human being there. David Boovey: completely stupid idiot, does not know what to do and how to, wondering when he is going to be fired, not a trustworthy or honest person. Geff the manager: is the worst of them all, he lies and manipulates all the time, he is absent always or claim to be.. Our car stayed there for 4 months and un repaired for 6 months, we ended with few things need to be repaired after due to incompetent management. Please do not take your car there.. would rather sell my car than dealing with these idiots. negative 10 stars if I could.

Jason and David have helped me on multiple issues for a BMW 428i Gran Coupe. Their level of service and knowledge far exceeds any other shop (including out of state). Don t hesitate to take your vehicle to the right place.

I m giving this place one star not for their work quality but how difficult it is to do business with them. I had some work done on my Range River Discovery a few weeks ago and the vehicle was in the shop for almost three (3) months. Of course the supply chain was the blame and there is no way you can verify that. Communication was very poor during this period and I had to continually call them to get an update (their automated system is of limited value).Unfortunately my vehicle sustained some very minor damage again and I went by this morning (2/10) without an appointment to get an estimate. They told to come back February 23rd for the estimate! I live in Orange Beach so it s not like I can pop by at any time. It is amazing that a body shop is not sufficiently staffed to provide on demand estimates with a reasonable wait time. For me I will never go back to Tom Williams collision. There are too many other quality body shops .as a customer I require better service. Good riddance!

Let me start this review by saying that I hate leaving negative feedback but I want people to know what they re in for. I should have read the reviews first and done what friends told me to do and used Town & Country in Bessemer.I was originally told that my simple body repair would/could be done in a day so I scheduled my appointment almost two months out because it was the soonest they had. That should have been a red flag! At my husband s urging, I called three weeks before my appointment to confirm that we were still on. I was told to drop my keys in the drop box. I reminded them of what I was told, same day. The office manager, Angela, tried real hard to help me and told me that they don t even order the parts until they have the vehicle (another red flag) but Jeff said no way. Three days, four MAX!! Here I sit EIGHT days later and they still have work to do for simple body work, Front clip, not even including the hood, and some trim replacement. Plastic, people, PLASTIC!!! oh and the windshield washer reservoir had to be replaced too. Still, eight + days?So would I recommend, absolutely not! Unless you re overflowing with rental car money, enjoy being lied to and have nothing at all better to do than wait.So I ll leave this heat and hope that others will heed the warning! Good luck because you re going to need it!Service: Body & Trim

Had a serious accident with my 2022 Audi S8 and Ryan and the team got my car repainted and all suspension and braking systems repaired as if the car was new again. Highly recommend these folks for what they do. I recommend using a different body shop if you can. They take on too much business and do not do work in a timely manner. I made an appointment, had my car looked over and then scheduled another appointment to get my car fixed 3 weeks later. When I brought my car into be fixed they estimates it would be another 2-3 weeks because they did not order the parts yet. I asked if they could order the parts without taking my car apart and they said yes. I was not going to leave my car sitting on their lot and have to get a rental car when I could still drive it. They then stated I had to put down a deposit for them to order the parts. This deposit was never discussed in my first appt, or i would have already paid it. So I put down a $500 deposit. Then I called a couple days later and they still had not ordered the parts because an insurance agent had to look at my car first. They never called to update me during this time. I never would have known they weren't doing anything if I hadn't called. They said that they would coordinate with my insurance company and call back with a time to come by for the agent to look at my car. 1 week passes with no update. I called to ask for a refund on my deposit so I can go elsewhere. It takes 5 days to get a call back and confirmation that they will refund my deposit. No one apologized or even tried to keep my business. So if I were you, I would go to a different body shop, one that has knowledgeable staff that can complete your repairs in a timely manner.Service: Body & Trim

My car was two weeks old when someone backed into the rear bumper. Having had a good experience in the past when Tom Williams fixed my wife's car (a much bigger job), I brought my car into them. I worked with Brandon. The entire service from start to finish was outstanding. They keep you updated via text or email and have a website that shows the progress. They completely replaced the bumper and did a stunningly good color match and the car was returned in pristine shape. They even put tire gel on and did a full detail.I would not hesitate to use them again. Fantastic experience.

I'm am so disappointed in the service provided by Tom Williams Collision Center. I dropped my car off on 02/14/22 for a minor front bumper and rim repair/replace. I was told that due to Covid and delays in getting parts that it would take longer to fix which I was okay with and my car was ready for pick up on 03/03/22. When I picked up my vehicle on 03/03/2022, I noticed that my car was dirty, their was black hand smudges on the leather interior, their were coffee stains on the from driver seat and the console. The outside was dirty even the new front bumper had dirt all over it like my car had been used while it should have been parked. I then checked the mileage and when I dropped my car off it was 11837 miles and when I picked up my car it was 12057 miles. Also, my diver 1 and driver 2 car settings were deleted and my car was change to sport mode when I drive my car in Standard mode. So basically while my car was in the care of Tom Williams Collision Center someone drove my car 220 miles. When I contacted Tom Williams concerning the matter the General Manager Jerry Savages tells me that no one drove my car that he has a picture of my mileage and it was 12114 when it was dropped off. I advised Jerry that can not be correct since when I picked up my car it was at 12057 miles. Jerry talked over me and I had to interrupt him just to have a chance to express my concerns. Jerry, never showed that he care how this made me feel violated or made any attempt to rectify this situation but continued to state that no one drove my car. Please read my message before you decided to take your vehicle to Tom William Collision Center, even though the front office staff are very nice, you can't trust these people they have no integrity. I can not recommend and I will report this to my insurance carrier.Service: Body & Trim

I own a 2008 Lexus GX 470 and received a recall on the paint chipping from Lexus. I dropped the vehicle off at Tom Williams collision center and received a rental car which was nice. I went to pick up my vehicle and when they drove it around I noticed my driver side interior door panel was off and another piece of trim in the rear was hanging down. I also noticed my ceramic tint on the passenger side that I had just installed 4 months prior was damaged. Did anyone mention that to me? No...Thank goodness I had pictures the day I dropped it off, and they also had pictures they had taken, showing it was not like that prior to me dropping it off. As I walked around the car I noticed they did not even paint my rear hatch. I asked the manager about it and he said well if that panel wasn t affected we couldn t paint it. Sooooo you paint every metal panel on my car except that one piece so now it looks like I drive a put together vehicle. The paint is so off it looks terrible. I noticed my driver side window was no longer working and it worked perfectly when I dropped it off. My passenger side interior light or my window switch was not even plugged back in. I stopped back by for them to say well it is a 2008 and that s just things that go bad with them over time. I explained I knew they had taken my panels off and had to mess with my windows for my tint to be messed up, but they just looked at me crazy. So the solution was to rob my rear window switch from the back window to put in the front. What a freaking joke and they did not see ANYTHING wrong with that. You think with the name Tom Williams Lexus you are getting top notch service but your not. Your getting horrible customer service and botched work. I will not recommend this collision center to ANYONE!!! I hope this review reaches someone at Tom Williams that cares about the company and fixes these issues.

My wife's BMW has slight front end damage due to a collision with a deer. I decided to use Tom Williams collision center so that we would get Original replacement parts. So I made an appointment for an estimate hoping that I could just leave the car with them because we live 50 miles away. After the estimate was done we were told that the earliest appointment for repairs was April 18th. Why wasn't I told that when I made the appointment for the estimate??

I choose Tom Williams Collision due to its obvious ties to Land Rover of Birmingham. I had my 2016 LR4 towed in on May 24 to repair the finder, door, hood and headlight, driver side. From the date the vehicle was received to the date of pickup took an astonishing amount of time and costs a small fortune. After 53 days without my vehicle and a repair bill just over $11,000 I was anxious and relieved to be picking up my LR4. I admit that the work performed was excellent, minus some overspray and an obvious color mismatch of the side vent and placement of the bonnet lettering being off. However there is one major freaking problem . My vehicle is absolutely inundated with and ant infestation. I have never in my life seen ants in or near my vehicle. The sheer number is overwhelming and I m disgusted and livid and feeling contempt that someone cared so little, showing no respect for my personal property that was in their care allowing this to become a major issue. I am fit to be tied and utterly stressed beyond any healthy measurable matrix. This is extremely unfair especially when I know that absolutely no one gives a damn. I m now left to spend more money and time attempting to rectify this infuriating problem.Give me strength!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I recently took my car to Tom Williams collision center....I thought by taking my car to the dealership I would have a great experience ..,, I was wrong !! The technicians were only supposed to repair a sensor and remove some insect residue form my hood and when I picked up my car 4 months later Yes 4 months !!! It looked worse than the day I took it to the shop I had to take it to another body shop to repair the damage they did to my car. I had overspray all over my windows and the side of my car they didn t match the color, they left trash in the paint. ! The body shop I took it to to be repeated could not believe the poor quality they had done ..,, you need to take your vehicle somewhere else if you want it to look good

I started by inquiring with Tom Williams about getting an estimate for my Audi which was wrecked. After they assured me they would provide a FREE estimate I brought my vehicle to them. After a few days they provided an estimate which I was not happy with and attempted to take my vehicle, at that point they told me they would be charging for the estimate. THIS NOT WHAT THEY SAID ON THE PHONE. I confronted them about this and they backtracked on what they had stated previously. So, I got my work done there, which took longer then they stated. When I picked up my vehicle I noticed that three of my custom rims were scratched and had remnants of an obvious attempt to buff the scratches out, when I brought this to their attention they stated it was not their fault. After driving off, same day, the OIL LIGHT came on, my engine was 2 quarts low. On top of that my steering wheel is crooked and my alignment is off. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE.

The people are so rude. I whitenesses a woman ( a secretary at that) belittling people and giving orders like she was the manager when asked for the actual manager and he actually arrived she still continued to speak to people like they were less than and he let her I m not really sure where they learned customer service but I need to go back to school. I didn t even use them because of the people who were there I turned around and walked away. Tom Williams you were losing money because your people in your collision center are rude they are very unhelpful and I ve also heard reviews from other people steading that they drove their personal vehicles around like it was theirs somebody might want to get these people under control

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!I brought my LX 570 to Tom Williams Collision for one reason and that was because I wanted the job done right! And boy do I regret it! I hit a deer and had some basic paint that needed to be repaired along with the front view camera being knocked out. They had my vehicle for over two weeks. When I was told that it was ready, I drove an hour to Birmingham to pick it up. When I got there and loaded up my belongings the gate wouldn't close, which wasn't a problem I had when I took my car there. I get in the car and sonar sensors are going off, also a problem I didn't have when I took the vehicle there. Before I went in to have these issues addressed, I decided to walk around the vehicle to make sure everything was done (which someone should have done with me when I got there). As I walked around the vehicle, I noticed one of the major spots on the hood that was supposed to be fixed hadn't even been addressed!! I was not compensated in any way, not even an apology. I was given another rental that was supposed to be on Tom Williams dime only to find out that they filed a supplemental claim with my insurance for reimbursement. Since the issue on the hood wasn't addressed the first time, my insurance company then decided it wasn't caused by the deer and we had to file another claim. Phone calls to the 'Collision Advisor' and the general manager went unanswered and unreturned multiple times. So the moral of the story is don't use them if you think you are going to receive the kind of service you should get when you bring them a $90,000 vehicle. I am very disappointed in my experience that I had at Tom Williams Collision Center, and needless to say I expected better service than I received.

Got an estimate approved it. scheduled appointment and dropped it off. 2 weeks later I call to check the status because i havent heard anything. I was quoted a week or two. They told me "I dont know what we are doing with it, can you come down and tell us?" Very unorganized. I was out of a car for two weeks for no apparent reason.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I financed a car from this dealer. They are not professional at all. As they made many mistakes while processing the paper work. Came back again and asked me to sign more documents. Few days later they asked if they can come to my house to sign another document that they forgot about it. Check this out. My car supposed to be certified and it s been setting in their lot for a while. Guess what they sold it to me without the car being certified I had to return it back so they can get it certified.Me and my kids almost had an accident because the breaks were bad. I had 3 cars from Carmax and Hoover Toyota never had any issues at all. Tom William Lexus IS not a place I m going to deal with at all. You can lie to sell one car but it will be the last for sureThose workers who I dealt with nothing but idiots

I received a quick quote and was given helpful information which saved me a grand . Note: the sign reads pull under the awning for quote-just know you must get out of the car and go in, too. Silly of me to sit in my vehicle under the awning for 10 minutes waiting for service. I appreciate the Lifetime warranty on their paint job.

We had a fender bender and took our vehicle to Tom Williams Collision Center at the recommendation of our insurance company. I called ahead for an estimate appointment but it was not necessary. The estimate was delivered quickly and they worked directly with the other driver's insurance company. Their estimate was higher than what the insurance originally estimated but I was told by both parties to not worry about that and let them work out the difference. Apparently body shops estimate high and insurance companies estimate low - in the end, they arrive at a compromise. The car was ready when promised and I did not have any issues with the repair. I recommend Tom WIlliams Collision Center for accident repairs.

Came hear to have the hood of my BMW 128i repainted after it got a bad scratch across it. I was really nervous about an after factory paint job, but it had to be done. When the car was returned, it looked pristine and you can't even tell the difference in color between the hood and fenders. Quality work, pricey, but worth it for the craftsmanship. They even gave the car a full detail, which I wasn't expecting. Thanks for getting my car back on the road looking like new.

Took my mini for repair to their shop, and took them two weeks to repair. When they were finally done with the repairs, they gave my car back with a broken windshield, which they couldn't believe they broke untill they saw the insurance pictures. To this day I haven't haven't been refunded for the windshield. Also, the so called repairs they did on my car were not even finished. They failed to send me some parts that were missing on my front bumper. I've been trying to reach the manager for the past month in regards to the missing bumper parts and the quote of my windshield, but it seems like he cares more for other customers, perhaps the ones who come in with a BMW m3 or m5. Their call back system is either broken, or the manager simply does not care if you don't meet his standards for a top tier customer. I would strongly suggest you avoid this shop, it's nothing but a future head ache.
