Had a wonderful experience with my car repairs. The ladies at the front desk are so kind, and Ben + Tyler kept me in the loop on updates during the process. I am pleased with the work done & am so happy to have my car again thanks to everyone at Rods Custom.

We have been using Rods body shop for many years. I have never had a complaint at all with the work they have done. They do excellent work and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure things are done right. They keep you informed on the progress and have always finished the work sooner than expected. I am in no way connected to rods other than the fact that I am a very happy and loyal customer. Their excellent work and friendly staff are the reason I will always be back. Wonderful Service and Customer Care!!They repaired my daughter s 2020 Ford Mustang. She had a slight fender bender (in our driveway with my sisters car) and needed to get some repair work done. From the quote/estimate phase all the way thru detail shop and delivery, they were courteous and professional. Ben was amazing as the point if contact. He kept me in the loop on every step of the repair.The car was in the shop about 8 business days total. And Ben called me every 48 hours to let me know at what point and stage the car was in. My biggest worry and concern was getting the paint to match, and I told Ben specifically that this was my biggest point of contention in this repair. The car is a 1 year only paint color called Grabber Lime . A few shops we went too for quotes said we can t guarantee a perfect match, but it will be very close . Not good enough in my book! I asked Ben and he went and talked to his paint techs and one of them used to work at Ford, and he said I can get that matching perfectly, they won t even be able to tell . Well my worries were for nothing, the car looks amazing!!! They even went as far as to get insurance approval to replace both front tires, for safety reasons and being front steering tires, even though the damage was limited to just the right front corner fender, front clip, headlight and wheel and tire.My daughter is happy to have her car back and I am happy with how the vehicle turned out. So much detail and care went into a small fender bender, that I can t imagine having to handle a big job like a total front end or side impact repair.My thanks to everyone at Rod s!! From the ladies at the front desk to the estimator, Ben at drop-off and delivery, to all the technicians in back and to the detail shop that washed the whole car inside and out. Wow!!! I cant say enough great words about Rod's Custom from the staff, the communication and to the repairs they are top notch!! They were expected to have my car for a few weeks due to insurance issues and they were able to complete it in two weeks and the quality of their product was incredible! Ben was fantastic, kept me updated daily and with any changes. My car was cleaned and shining when i picked it up and it didn't even look like it had been damaged prior. I hope to not have to use them again, but if we ever need repairs done to our vehicles we will be taking them to Rod's Custom!

Wow!! I can't say enough about the incredible customer service at Rod's Customs! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by their attention to detail and dedication to their craft. Not only was their work top-notch, but every aspect of their facility was nothing short of amazing. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was exceptional from start to finish. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, from follow up calls to completion date/time etc. I highly recommend Rod's Customs. You won't be disappointed!

Everybody at Rod's Custom was so professional and nice. Not only did they do an excellent job with the body work on our car, but they cleaned it inside and out-- it hasn't looked that good since the day I bought it!!! When I got my car back, a separate issue popped up same day-- the team there helped me diagnose the issue, and even took the car to the dealership for me as I was unable to do so. They checked in with us during and after our repairs, and even made sure everything was going well with the dealership.Their initial estimate for how long they'd have our vehicle was spot-on, pick-up/drop-off was easy, and they definitely went above and beyond with customer care.

Can't brag on Rod's enough! After my Tesla Model 3 was hit by another driver, I was convinced that it was going to be months without my car. However, it barely took a month and they did a fantastic job. I did not expect the level of attention, detail, and communication from them that they provided. Truly, the best part was getting text messages often about the exact status of my car, what the next step was, and the anticipated timeline. They were spot on. I had a couple of unique details that required special handling and they were amazing about it. Just so accommodating and always prompt to respond.Everyone there was so polite, professional, and prompt. I don't know what your expectations of a body shop are but I expected all of this to be a struggle. I ended up visiting a couple times for various reasons and Courtney at the front desk was always so helpful and polite. Truly an awesome place. The culture here is killer, this is a place I would want to work if I was in the industry. Thanks Rod's - although, I hope we never meet again!

Wrecked my car during the ice storms a couple weeks back, took my car to rods, and had it done within 2 1/2 weeks! Outstanding job done by the team, and thanks to Ben Bundren for the help!!

STAY AWAY!!! My parents got into a minor accident involving a car pulling out in front of them. Minimal damage. The hoof wouldn't open so the idoit at rods working on the car taking the estimate stuck a crow bar in between the hood and the bumper and BROKE the hood latch deeming the car unsafe to drive and hence the insurance company totaling the car out. Not to mention the 8500 dollar estimate!! They are stuck with fixing the car and having a rebuilt title due to insurance not paying enough. This is highway robbery and a scheme. A JOKE TO SAY THE LEAST. STAY AWAY!!

I had a disagreement with a concrete column about who should occupy a certain point in space. The column won. Now my Tesla needed a new fender and some TLC. At the moment, Rod's is the only Tesla-approved body shop in town. Luckily, they are also top-notch people. The quality of work and the customer experience were both superb. The receiving area is very pleasant, which is a nice surprise. Many shops like this neglect the customer's first impression upon entering their business. These guys have it nailed. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, honest dealing. The staff seem to work well together to keep me informed of the progress. They delivered my car on time, freshly detailed, and with the battery topped off!Rod's would be my first choice if I needed fender TLC again.

I m a little late with my review but the fact I remembered to leave it after an extended time speaks volumes to how great my experience was. I highly recommend Rod s on University for your auto collision repairs. They went above and beyond at every stage of the job, making me almost forget how stressful the situation was. They worked with MY schedule, even delivering my car to my house so when we returned from vacation it was waiting for us in the driveway! All around great place and people! An auto body shop is never a place you hope to visit, however, if you find yourself in need - Rod s should be the first call.

Rod s Custom Auto was an absolute joy to work with. My Tesla Model S needed body work after an accident and the only Tesla Certified body shop in Birmingham said it would be weeks to months before they could even give me an estimate. I called Rod s and was able to get the car in the next day. Communication from start to finish was top notch and the final product on the body work looks amazing. I would highly recommend Rod s to anyone who needs auto body work.

I have had to unfortunate pleasure of having two of my cars get involved in non fault accidents in the last 6 months but thankfully Rods was there. My first experience with them was after my Tesla was involved in a collision. I was relieved that I was even able to find a Tesla certified shop in the area without having to transport the car hours away to Nashville, Birmingham or even worse Atlanta depending on wait times. The Tesla looked better then when I got it after I got it back and could not been happier with the results. I then had a BMW get rear ended and rods was my first pick because the workmanship was excellent. Communication was excellent and I was always provided with frequent updates both times. I spoke with Ben a lot durning both occasions and he along with any other member of the team I spoke with were all pleasant. If I ever am in the unfortunate situation where I need a car fixed or just have body work in general that s non accident related Rod s will always been my first pick.

Rod s did an amazing job repairing my car. The customer service was top tier!!! During the entire process they kept me updated on what was going on with my car and upon completion presented a repaired, clean, showroom ready vehicle. 10/10 highly recommend.

We took our 2012 Odyssey in for a repaint of faded roof and hood. Their work was outstanding and we could not be more pleased. We were kept updated along the process and the entire experience was great. Highly recommend.

Rod s Custom Body Shop is the best place in Huntsville, Alabama area. I took my car there for the replacement of the rear bumper was quick and accurate. I was given the best car repair along with a lifetime warranty. Ben kept me informed about the status of my car repair and the insurance company status via text messages. Everyone was helpful and supportive. I highly recommend them to anyone!!!

2021 Tesla Model 3Everyone here was wonderful during the entire process. I was contacted every step of the way and I never had to wonder what was going on with my car. If they needed my input, they made sure to reach out to me asap. When I picked up my car and inspected where the damage once was, I see the workmanship was top notch. The paint match has to be close to 100% because I couldn't see any discrepancies. I would highly recommend Rod's for any and all autobody needs you may have.

I have used Rods Custom twice now for 2 separate accidents. Very pleasant experience both times considering the unfortunate circumstances. Courtney at the front desk is AMAZING and Ben does such a good job communicating. After much consideration I settled on Rod's custom to repair the damage I did to my wife's Lexus. Having grown up in Huntsville they were recognized in my group of hot rodding 17 year olds as the best shop on Huntsville. That was 41 years ago. Everyone at the shop was helpful, friendly and responsive. They did a great job of quelling my nerves by providing weekly updates as to the status of my car and the work was finished on time. I received a lifetime warranty on my repairs making the repair worry free for me since I believe this shop will be in business a long time. The folks at Rod s Custom Body Shap are the absolute best in every aspect. From the ladies on the front desk, the appraisers and the folks in the shop, the experience is a true class act. We had work done about a year or so ago (they did a great job), but we developed a leak at the panoramic roof on our F-150. I called and discovered they no longer did that work, but they were very helpful in directing us to someone who did.
