Wouldn't recommend to anyone. We used these guys for replacing a transmission that went out while in a trip to Huntsville. The first day (Saturday) he promised to look at it and call us, but he didn't, so I had to find transportation back to Knoxville without knowing what was wrong with the car.On the next Monday he looked at it and said he was replacing the transmission and it would 100% be done by the following Friday but that he would call before then. He never called but I had found a ride leaving for Huntsville at 11am on Friday. I called several times Thursday evening and Friday morning but the girl answering the phone said Anthony hadn't showed up for work yet. So on Friday when I was already past Chattanooga, he called and said he'd ordered the wrong transmission but the right one would be in same day, so it would either be done late Friday or Saturday morning as a worst case scenario. I continued to Huntsville as discussed with him, preparing for the possibility of staying in a hotel overnight due to him ordering the wrong part. I get there, and he says the part actually won't come in til the following Monday. I found a ride back to Knoxville again, with him promising he'd have it completed and towed to us on Monday afternoon. I stayed up until midnight that Monday waiting for it, but he was a no call no show. On Tuesday he finally answered the phone again and he again promised to have it brought to us on Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday. He also hid from us that he hadn't finished working on it during all that time, as each day he said it was finished and didn't tell us otherwise until the next day. Finally he finished it and it was brought up on Thursday almost 2 full weeks after he'd gotten it. We had to pay over $800 for a rental car during that timeframe that he kept promising to deliver it to us.We had the car back 4 days before noticing a massive leak. We took it to the shop in town where they said "whoever just replaced this transmission was negligent and used the wrong seal, and it's not drivable as a result.". Anthony did pay for the repair due to his negligence but refused to pay any of our rental fees because he said it's not negligence to use the wrong part because the part came to him that way.So basically we're out thousands of dollars for using this guy who shouldn't even be in business from the shoddy way he works on cars (based on what the local mechanic has said of his work), and ended up having to buy a new car. Go literally anywhere else.

Great service!!! The new owner Anthony has taken this business to the next level. Very trust worthy and honest with your car, won't try to sell you on something you don't' need and will get you what you do need. I took my 09 Trailblazer SS in to get the trans replaced, because it was a used car purchased at auction I asked him to look over it to make sure it was running the way it needed to. He came back with an estimate on what needs attention now vs. later down the line. He recommended a great vendor that got me a better trans with a great warranty on it and gave a great warranty on his work as well. Did a full tune-up on my engine at my request and took care of some of the other things that he prescribed as well. I took about 3 weeks to get the truck back due to Covid hang-ups in delivery of parts but Anthony gave me updates all along the way. I couldn't recommend him more, your car or truck will be in great hands!!!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

When Firestone couldn't help me, they recommended Dan at Rocket Automotive. Dan diagnosed my problems, recommended against an unnecessary and expensive procedure that I didn't need, and fixed several problems. He could have recommended quite a bit of work on the transmission--which is why I came to him--but he told me it's probably not necessary. This has been the fastest, most professional, most courteous, and reasonably-priced experience I've ever had with a mechanic--anywhere--and I've traveled and lived all over the United States. Strongly recommended!

I had a pinion bearing whine in my 06 Toyota Sequoia that was threatening to turn into total bearing destruction. It hampered our confidence to take long trips. Dan diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts while we continued to drive the SUV locally. When the parts arrived, Dan notified us and swapped the entire rear axle while maintaining the fresh brake job recently done in just a single day. The Sequoia is now whisper quiet and performs like new. This is the third job that Dan has helped us with and he never disappoints. The repairs are discussed up front and his quality and prices are unbeatable. Never an unpleasant surprise. I am a gearhead and know ability when I see it and Dan is the best ever.

I've been to Rocket Automotive for service several times and have been very pleased. The owner Dan Naran is courteous, informative and above all honest. Dan and his great staff have fixed the problem for me first time, every time and the price is more than reasonable. He's even taken his time to drive me home. I would highly recommend Rocket Automotive for honest, efficient auto service.

Dan is awesome, he listened to my problem, took it for a test drive with me, asked logical questions to better understand what is going on (fix was to drain/fill gear oil in manual transmission), he even showed me the oil he was using before adding it to the vehicle, kept me informed/involved the whole way. He also heard another noise that caught his attention and set out to find the issue without me even bringing it up (I knew the general cause when he mentioned it, but not the exact spot of the noise - car was rear ended, body shop fixed it and exhaust is vibrating against bumper). At any rate they took me back in the bay while it was on the lift to show me exactly where it was and told me a good exhaust shop to go to to get it fixed.It's refreshing to find an honest mechanic shop and one that takes the personal time with customers to discover the true issues with the vehicle.

I was told by the dealership that I needed a brand new clutch and associated parts to solve smoke coming into my cabin on hard breaking. Needless to say it would have cost a fortune. Dan took 30 minutes out of his day, for free, to ride around the block with me and told me it was definitely not the clutch. As soon as I can make arrangements for a ride to work he ll get my business to fix the oil leak. He s an honest and pleasant guy. TOO honest maybe; the lobby needs an upgrade!

Went to Rocket Automotive convinced that I had a transmission problem and feared the worst. Dan diagnosed it, found nothing wrong, and took me for a drive to explain the intricacies of a six-speed electronic transmission. All of my concerns were alleviated, the largest of which was being stuck with a thousand-dollar plus repair bill. The only charge was a $45 diagnostic fee. Dan has all of my business from now on. Knowledgeable and honest. Highly recommended.

Anthony the owner is fantastic! He recently bought this business and all of my family and family friends followed him here. We love the work he does and he has NEVER taken advantage of us. We don t even shop around anymore or get second opinions because he has proved himself for years to be the most genuine, honest, and beats EVERYONE on price. So if you want to be able to go in a place and never worry again about what your spending and or if the work your actually being recommended to get done is needed Anthony is your guy. I don t know what we would do if we ever moved because finding a 100% honest person to work on your car is almost impossible to find! -Lindsay

Has detailed and valuable knowledge about cars period and specifically Acuras/Hondas. He did a complete engine replacement at half the cost of others and fixed issues that others, including the dealer, was charging triple for and discovering the actual issue. Not just for one of our cars but both. Have sent others to him who also rave about his excellent work and honesty which is hard to come by. Ask for Dan.

When I tell you I'm beyond happy, they are the best. Dan has help me, they fix my transmission, and air conditioning. Dan is very helpful, he'll sit there and explain what's going on, and what they about to do. It's hard to find a decent shop or mechanic, you'll be very happy if you come here .

For a long time I searched for an "honest" mechanic. Dan and his shop was recommended to me. Let me tell you I've relied on him for many years now. I've utilized them for work ranging from major to minor on five different vehicles. What you can count on always is the exact repair that needs to be done! No hocus pocus. No overstatement or inflation of the work that is truly needed. I trust him implicitly.

I broke my car at 7:00 am and they got it fixed by 12:00. I thought it was my clutch but it was only the drive shaft. It saved me about 500 dollars or more.
