Helpful people and a great car offering, but the hours are not practical. They close at 4:30 pm, but door says 5:30 pm. Most people don t get out of work until 5pm. Part prices are pretty high, sometimes it s worth it to just buy it new instead of going through the hassle to pull the parts just to save $5.

The customer service is terrible, especially if you are Latin, they treat you in a very unpleasant way and not to mention the returns, they ask for your number for the guarantee but you cannot return anything with that number, if not with the receipt, then why do they need my number? ? and misleading prices, sometimes it is better to buy new parts

I showed up today, 30 minutes before they close. The guy was really nice and printed a list of potential cars with location that may have what I need. I paid 3.00 which is cheep went in a worked my way from back to front checking cars. It's a junk yard! For those making posts about disappointing details on parts still on cars, you need to have realistic expectations.Anyway, I found what I was looking for in decent shape, not perfect but usable. The lady that checked me out was very thoural, that is her job, ern money for the yard that allows it to stay open to the public. For those belly aching what she does and being picky. Go buy your parts new, good luck finding the little items.I didn't need the wiper blade, I only needed the arm. I was glad to remove it and leave it. It saved me money. She helped me save even more money with asking if I wanted a warrenty and telling me they offer a veteren discount but only with proof of ID. -no problem.Great 30 minutes, found what I needed for a fraction of what new would have cost, if I could find it.Advice to Patrions of this establishment. Go in with a posative attitude and realistic expectations. If your time is money, you probably should not be scouring junk yards.V/RCraig

This LKQ is my go to pick your part place and I ve had good luck finding used parts here as long as I can get to the car quick enough. Their prices are usually fair and I ve not had any issues finding the cars in the lot since the isles are well placed diving imports to the right and domestics to the left when your first walk back there and the isle numbers are clearly visible.

parts here are over priced for what you get, they ll charge extra for EVERY and ANYTHING possible. Anything they deem miscellaneous will be an extra charge. Customer service should be better as well. It s a fairly neat place and a large selection of cars. You will most likely find what you need. They are also able to search up cars/parts that you need on their computer and they re able to tell you what isle it s on.

Bought a radiator for my Ram 1500. 2 weeks pass and it started leaking. They wrote the date of purchase on the part. Went back to swap out or refund. Was told without the receipt they can't do anything. I ask what about the purchase date on the part, only 2 weeks ago. Said sorry, no receipt can't do anything to help you.

LKQ is horrible. Avoid this place, they are unscrupulous. I bought an overpriced part for $100 after all of the extra fees. The cashier casually asked if I wanted a warranty and I declined. She did NOT explain that meant I could not swap or return a part before I even left the parking lot (2 minutes after I bought the part). The rude manager told me that since I didn t purchase the warranty, it didn t matter if I even left the store, they would not refund my money or even offer an exchange. I left the part there. BUYER BEWARE! This place has deceptive pricing to say the least. Shady business.

Yard is decent. Workers are as uneducated as can be about the parts. Will charge you for the wrong part, and you can't correct them on it. Of course, the wrong part charge is always in their favor.

I wonder if folks realize that when you create a fake review it's actually quite noticable.. it's mathematically not possible for a business to only have minimal positive reviews of which are putting way too much emphasis on how phenomenal of an experience they had at the business in question..I just cannot imagine anyone randomly bh picking which customer to be nice or rude to every day... I can guarantee I am not that old yet so this won't be a "walking to school in the rain & snow" speech.. lol Excellent Customer Service seems to be of no importance anymore in my opinion. It's obvious when you're in a store and they holler so many times to remind you of the closing time. Because nowadays if you don't get up to the register right in time they will not let you check your items out. Saying that it's not the employees fault but the computer automatically shuts the registers down at exactly closing time. I don't know about anybody else but I know when I was working at any kind of fast food or business establishment in my years of employment I or we I'm sorry had to continue to serve customers until the last customer and we had to stay as long as it took to clean up the facility the very last customer the very last customer was checked out.. and the rule of thumb was the customer was always right and if we had any problem with a customer we could go to a manager for assistance.Managers are trained to solve all or most customer type issues.Although in my opinion most of the establishments or businesses that I have visited over the past several years have been anything but had excellent customer service. I've had a problem take you every time I've ever been. They Rush the customers out of the salvage yard over an intercom system practically yelling numerous times up until the very last second of closing time...As a matter of fact my last visit to Lkq of Huntsville Alabama I had mistakenly left a part in the yard. I was given the ok to retrieve it but repeatedly hollered at as I felt I needed to move & move quickly so I did just that.. Sadly it happened to be extremely muddy where I left the part & when the lady on the intercom yelled I was startled which caused me to slip & twist my ankle.I mentioned this to the employees working & the response was "You signed a waiver" ... that's it.. No concern whatsoever for my safety or injuries.. If they knew they were excused of all liabilities why in God's earth wouldn't any decent human being, especially an individual in the Customer Service industry not show any type empathy to a injured customer???My resume was titled, Excellent Customer Service & with that being said; my customers were very important any place I was employed with..I believe it starts higher up at the executive level..Not appropriately training the new hires the "Excellent Customer Service" creed or might I say the "required skillset to qualify someone to honestly have what it takes to follow a career path of a customer service agent. Actually showing others patience & kindness could really teach us all some much needed humility within our own very short lives we have here on Earth!!Note to self:"STOP,REWIND,&PLEASE BE KIND"!! Thank you

We spent 4 hours pulling a motor out of a car. A pretty bad storm came through and knocked the power out. They refused to call the power company because "they were sitting there making free money" we offered to pay cash with a written receipt and they email me the actual receipt the next day. One person said "no we will not write a receipt" another said yes but she said "I'm not going out of my way to email you a receipt". That was absolutely the laziest and rudest customer service I've ever dealt with. Needless to say we drove 1.5 hrs and spent 4 hours pulling a motor in a severe thunderstorm and went home with no motor.

I sold my Honda Pilot to them. They gave me a good price on it immediately. Shout out to Keshia Smith. She was so personable and helpful and made sure I understood everything. She made sure to communicate everything clearly, and kept me on board with where the tow people were and their ETA. She also assisted with getting a tow truck to me sooner to fit my schedule. It was an easy going experience. Recommend.

I have never had the experience that I had today. The women checking people out, was nothing but rude. They tried to tell me that the part I went after, was a different part. I had to look it up and show them. After that, they checked everyone out but me. They where getting people with less parts, that was behind me, instead of checking me out. If this is how business is gonna be conducted, I will do my business somewhere, my hard working money is more valuable.

The online inventory needs updated pictures, because it is very misleading when you are able to find a part you need online,Then after having to pay a fee to even go check.... and there be nothing on the vehicle that you needed.

This place is good place to locate dependable use parts however management has decided to change or let's say charge for the warranty on these parts. So if you elect not to purchase a warranty the sell of the part is as is with no return option. Before this scheme to make more money patrons could return defective parts within the 90 day warranty period for free. This is a shady business practice to make money.

The sign said no refunds on parts. I hope that meant the warranty as these people charge for the part up front. I am sure they understand you cannot keep payments on parts they do not have. That can be equated to a scheme if they do not have parts. Reliable parts are at all parts places. Its the management thats not right at some of themWent into the lobby and see a sign that says 3 dollar admission and next to it another one that said as of 1-12-21. No warranty on parts.Thats not what their ad says and I only pay admission for entertainment. All the 5 minutes I stood there the person behind the desk was playing 20 questions with another customer. If they want to make money maybe speedy, friendly customer service would be better than an entrance fee.

Being the only nearest place to drop off a vehicle, I was very disappointed with the lack of communication between the pick up and the purchase.5 stars for the initial call and setup for the vehicle3 stars for saying they are open until 6pm and we could pick up our check anytime til close (the car buy/sell section/admin section closes at 4PM)1 star for responsiveness. We arrived early with no one in front of us, and waited over 30minutes for admin section to open their window and acknowledge their customers. (We could overhear them laughing and joking as they spoke about new birth, OSHA) It took another 15minutes before we were actively seen. Once the process begun, it was less than 5 minutes. Overall time took 50 minutes. The two front desk ladies were receptive of each guest we watched pass by after us. Especially the dark haired woman with glasses and a heart tattoo on her left ankle. Neither wore face coverings but they do have sneeze guards up.Suggestions:1. Overall- Work on communication between departments to increase efficiency and reduce customer frustration.2. Admin sect- Acknowledge your customers when the front desk informs you that you have customers. Don't spend that time leaning on your desk with your phone out while gossiping about others.

I just got off the phone with a representative and they quoted me $165 for a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan that that has no accidents, no damage, has brand spanking new tires on it, and runs and drives. That is literally pocket change for a fully running and driving, cosmetically AND mechanically good vehicle disappointing.

It's good for most of the parts you need and the 30 day warranty is nice. I like how they have most of the vehicles online, sometimes they lag a day or so it seems. It does suck though when you get there hoping your part is gonna be there and when you find the vehicle your looking for it's all stripped down, so i wish they changed out vehicles more frequently.

As expected, large selection, spacious area, prices are average for a junk yard.

First of all you cant talk to anyone with the number they provided. So me and little man drove 40 miles for nothing. They wouldn't let little man go back in the yard with me. It would've been nice to actually call and talk to someone. It would've saved me a trip since I had nobody to keep little man. Beat it all the lady said your son can set up front here while in the yard. Seriously lady! He's 4 years old. I'm not leaving him with strangers. Don't deal with this useless bunch.

Online inventory needs to be revised such as the exact model should be specified (example base model versus gt) and that the item in question in your data base is no longer there especially when it s removed from the vehicle and of course paid for to which will indicate that and customers would not have to pay the $3.00 entry fee to be on a mystery hunt

Just coming to post up an honest review. Main reason for the post is that there was a woman there with an absolutely terrible attitude. I can only assume she is in charge cause someone would have already asked to speak to her superior. She was so rude to another employee before we even spoke so I knew she had a bad attitude. It was also early in the day (before noon) so I can't say maybe she was tired from dealing with stupid customers. The other employees I have dealt with in the past were nice though. The entree price of $3 is too high like others have said. $2 is fair or get a membership club and make it $1 for members. As far as parts pricing it is definitely high. They hit you with some tricky environment fees that really add to the price and are non refundable also. You are better off going somewhere else for average parts. I will say however, if you need something from a newer vehicle they are a good place to check. I have seen some cars as new as 2013 (year of this writing is 2017) that you don't see in a typical junkyard. I will also say that they have a good amount of wrecked cars so the chances of finding working driveline parts compared to your average junkyard with a bunch of old cars that are only there cause they quit working for whatever reason. Organization is fine, especially if you are familiar with some yards that just have cars throw everywhere and stacked and on the ground and to close to open doors and so on.

I have been a customer of the Huntsville LKQ location since day one, buying thousands of dollars worth of parts per year. Due to their location and how they stage the vehicles, they were my junkyard of choice for years. However, over the last year or so, they've been going downhill tremendously fast. They've raised the prices numerous times, discontinued their rewards program, and stopped having the 40% off sales or other promotions. Those changes were bad enough that I have once again started shopping elsewhere, only coming to LKQ on sundays (when other yards are closed) or when they were the only source for a specific part.Starting a few months ago, they've really gotten greedy with their 'optional' 90 day extended warranty. The warranty alone adds another 30% to the price of each item and is automatically charged unless you specifically decline it. If you opted out, the items came with the standard 30 day warranty. Now they've hit rock bottom, by discontinuing the standard warranty altogether. Unless you are willing to fork over the extra 30% for the 90 day warranty, you are out of luck if you have any issues with the part. They don't bother mentioning the lack of a standard warranty until AFTER you pay, leaving you with parts you cannot exchange/return.Since most people aren't willing to risk getting stuck with a part they can't use, they will be forced to get the warranty. In essence, LKQ has simply found yet another way to screw their loyal customers. In the last two years, between the increases in the price of parts and the warranty, the average part costs 50% more than it did previously. On some items, for the price you pay at LKQ, you could buy one brand new for just a few dollars more. This has sealed the deal for me. I'd rather drive further and deal with a mud hole of a junkyard than line the pockets of a big corporation that could care less about their customers.
