On Monday April 15, 2024 I had a flat. Chose this place for a used tire only to have them put the wrong size and the tire that they sold me was previously plugged. I went to work came outside to find out that my car was back on flat the tire was previously plugged. Charged me 71$ for a bald tire after selling me a bad tire. Horrible customer service and over priced. Selling tires that should be thrown away. Woul

Horrible Service and tires just as bad. Dry rotted - Older man behind counter is the rudest person working with customers I've seen. Gave me 2 choices to pick a tire. Pick one then looked at it more it was dry rotted, I said no I want the other one. He said NO you picked that one that's the one you get. Guy who's working came around and gave a better one. On Sunday he's the only place open. Had to have one. This is the ONLY reason I bought from him. I will not return. Be Aware!!

BUYER BEWARE:I would NEVER recommend this place of business to anyone seeking a used tire. I simply came to the place to replace a tire that had a hole. I usually go to tire max but this was the only place close enough to my location. I bought the tire and they put it on pretty quick. Immediately the tire makes a vibrational sound which was odd. I never thought anything about it because I had the tire pressure checked out at mavis which they told me it wasn t overfilled with air. Literally, 5 days later the tire POPS while DRIVING. While waiting for roadside assistance I immediately call them to share my concern and the guy who answers the phone LAUGHS AND SCREAMS and tries to blame me while being reluctant on if I could even get a refund. This company is a scam and please, if you value your life do not bring your car to this establishment.

Called several tire stores and was thrilled to discover they had my size in stock..was told $55 after tax. When I arrived I was presented a $90 tire, and then still a $56 tire before fees or tax. The lady running the place isn t inviting AT ALL and it s incredibly difficult to communicate. After breaking into tears from an unexpected $25 and grabbing my vape and wallet from my car to wait, I was yelled at not to smoke. I won t be back nor will I recommend the place. A small bit of kindness can go a long way in ANY business.

Where do I begin. I did not have a good experience with this tire shop. They sold me a faulty tire which caused me to be stranded an hour from my home. I spent 500 dollar to win it back to their shop only for them to be rude to me when I m askin them to replace it. Then they over charged me when I tried to used them again. Never goin back to them again. Rude and unprofessional.

Very big very rude and unhelpful would not recommend they charged $73 for a used tire on a Chevy Impala didn't have to remove or put the tire on the car only rim!! They give different prices to different people and don't have a price list to explain what your paying for.

These people are a rip off!!! I called yesterday to ask how much was a plug and the girl refused to tell me a price over the phone. She said it depends on where the repair is needed. I told her that there is a nail in my tire and it's in the tread, not in the wall. She said I still have to bring it up there and they closed at 5:30. Considering that this was the closest shop to my location I had no choice to race against the clock when I got off at 5:15. When I pulled up and ran inside, the woman was very rude to me and gave me a very nasty look when I told her I sped there to catch them. Someone then came out of the shop area and walked out to talk to them. He asked me what was wrong and I told them that I had a nail in my tire and I knew which tire it was and where it was. He then told me that it's $20 for an inspection in $15 for a plug. I told him I didn't need an inspection since I know where and which tire the nail is in. He then said he doesn't make the rules and it's $35 cash only. I told them they were nuts and they could have told me that price on the phone instead of wasting my time. If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE!

Definitely believe the reviews. I had a low tire which I assumed was a slow leak from a nail. I asked how much was it to plug it and I was told $35 CASH ONLY! I wasn't happy about the price but figured it was an Alabama thing. I then asked if they could do a visual check so that if I needed a new tire I could get the correct amount out of the ATM. I was then told it was $20 just to do a VISUAL CHECK without taking the tire out. Like literally just stand behind me as I pull forward to see if you see a nail.....$20?!?!?!?I went around the corner to ampro tire and it was $15 which is the normal cost for a plug. These people at magic are ripping off the community for sure!

I had a blow out and called them the next day. They were one of the only places around that had my particular tire size. They gave me a price and when I got there the price was honored and the tire was in awesome condition. Great work by the tire specialist and really good customer service both on the phone and in person. This place will have my future business.

This is the worst tire shop. They are extremely rude. They charge you for everything they can including disposal of the tire and they add 2 different taxes to the price. They handwrite everything so they charge what they want. My tire was 52.99 and came out to be $75 total. Just ridiculous.

Tried to hustle me I ve never left a review on anyone but this was bad I explained that I just ordered two new tires for 79 a piece and that they wouldn t be here until a couple of days so I called this company and he tried to charge me 79 for 50% tread didn t want to negotiate not business men

Go around the corner to Ampro 2105 Holmes Ave NW, Huntsville, AL 35816 if all you need is a simple plug from a nail! They tried to charge me almost $40! At Ampro it was only $15 and they were way more friendly!

Don't go here unless it's your last resort!! I needed a trailer tire which I took off myself and brought it with me so they had to do nothing but change the tire. The price I paid for the used tire I could've bought a new one!! Tried to charge me even more just to dispose the tire which I end up taking with me cuz I felt I was already overcharged. I will not go back here again

This place has me HEATED. my girl went for a tire, they quoted a price but hit her with 30% over the quote. Then had the audacity to scream at her ??? 0 stars, highly suggest this place be investigated for treatment of customers as well as unethical sale tactics and inferior quality parts.

The woman with the baby wasn t that nice, but English isn t their first language. If you ve ever travelled outside of the US, or even Alabama, you know this is sometimes a culture/confidence side effect from not understanding the language. I was very happy with my service as they gave me a good quality used tire AND were the only shop open on Thanksgiving day so I could get up and running. I ll be back if I have any issues in the future. Remember you get what you pay for so if you re too cheap, go to a dealership or junkyard. Have a nice day.

All that are commenting negatively about MAGIC USED TIRES, thank you very much. If there is no challenge, there is no performance. At any rate magic used tires appreciate you all. But all the negative allegations are falsehood. This is because we don't treat customers badly in any way. The only thing is that we cannot give free tires as we also buy from far places for business not for charity.We have good tires for moderate prices. Most of the time when we find bad tires of wrong sizes on your cars, we are the one that used to correct them. some times you come when we are closed, we still open to answer you. we care and we are decent people. Some people will even call us to wait for them at closing hour, we wait but they will not come. Though we don't give free but our prices are not high at all. we refused to fix tires sometimes if it is not appropriate to do so.All these reasons are for your safety.Thanks for your patronage.

I had a great experience the first time i went here. In bought a matching set of tires, nice tread and they lasted long long time. NO ISSUES, until I went back the second time and all of sudden there new fees for everything. I did not pay a disposal fee last time but now there is a "disposal fee". Also they looked at my old tires to get the size, gave me a price, I said ok that's fine and paid. Then the lady comes back to me and says we told you the wrong tire size you have to pay an extra $20 for the right size. I told her no I wasn't, that was your fault not mine. They refused to put the tires on, so I told them to either give me my money back or put the tires on. Long story short, we went back and fourth for about an hour; after I told 2 potential customers what was going on (and they left), they put the tires on just to get me out of there. I will never go back to this place again.

The most unprofessional business. No prices are listed. They only take cash. The price of a used tire is the highest I've ever seen. The clerk was figuring the price of my tire off the top of her head all the while walking around with a baby tied to her back. THE ONLY reason they get 2 stars is because they're the only used tire place open on a Sunday

Wow! I had been calling around a few places pricing used tires for my vehicle. The person that answered the phone told me that they had a tire for $99 for my car, which was a little bit higher than what I wanted to pay. I asked him if he had any other used tires that might be cheaper than that and he said "you just come to the store." I'm in the car with a 9 month old baby so I didn't have any intention of making multiple stops looking at tires. I asked again if he had any other choices and I was actually going to try and get an estimate to have them installed. He very abruptly again told me "you just come to store." I tried one last time to explain that I was just wanting a price range for his used tires because I know some of them may have different tread wear on them... He then yelled at me "YOU COME TO STORE.!" I was done with that conversation after that. Unbelievable...

Unprofessional, didn't even explain the pricing cuz I've never heard of a disposal fee. The lady can barely speak English. And then they have a child and they're running around sneezing and coughing and everything and not even telling them to stop.

Magic is right!!!They were able to fix the dent in my rim and hook me up with a quality used tire that had maybe 500 miles off it, if that....and for less than I could get done anywhere else.And to top it off, they were opened on Sunday.And for those that don't like rude and pushy people, this is the place to go.They are down to earth and one of the rare places that still use manners and a handshake.Before you go to any of the corporate tire places, stop by Magic Used Tires on Governors drive.

This tire place is the worst in Huntsville. They are rude and very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this place. 60 dollars for a tire that has gone bad and it hasn't even been 2 weeks. I know one damn thing I won't be back!!!!!

I m not One to leave negative reviews because I believe everybody has a Bad day every once in a while, BUTTTTTTT I called this morning after going to this place multiple times. I was met with nothing but hostility and no information from a man, I don t know his name all I know is he had a foreign accent. I was simply trying to inquire about how much the total cost would be and he seemed unwilling or unknowledgeable About the price of mounting and balancing, which is something I figured was common to know when you own a tire shop . The women that work there are the sweetest and this review is in no way a reflection on them, but if you ever encountered the foreign gentleman that works there please run far far away.

They sold me a tire that has cracks running along the sidewall and overtightened the lug nuts. I didn't notice until I caught a screw in my tire and had to pull over to change it. Fortunately, a friend was able to help me replace all four lugbolts.
