I didn't have a good experience here. Took about a month for some minor body work. Very limited information is given on the status of work, just an automated text message once a week or so. A phone call from a real person would go a long way in customer satisfaction when there are delays. When I picked up the car it had panel gaps that were way off, they didn't plug the fog lights back in and the housing around them wasn't attached. By the time I made it home it was barely hanging on. The new headlight was aimed directly at the ground. Several weeks later after them claiming they couldn't get in touch with the insurance company they finally set up another appointment to fix their mistakes most of them I had to take care of myself as it wasn't safe to drive at night and I didn't want to lose the parts that were falling off. Several days go by with zero communication and I get a call saying the car was done. The panel gaps are still bad just in different areas this time. I decided to accept the car in this condition because if they can't get it right after two attempts it's a waste of my time to mess with them anymore. Very disappointed...

Great shop. The process was so seamless. Easy drop off. They kept us informed of progress along the way. And they finished it ahead of schedule. Car looks great!

8 to 10 days repair time turned into 30 days. Paint job had bubbles. Front tag holder not installed. Detailing the truck only included the front end.

I always use the J Hodson's in Decatur. However, this time they were not available. The Parkway shop did great work and got the car back a week early!

Horrible! My vehicle is 2 different colors. They were supposed to check my vehicle out due to a vehicle hitting me from behind, but they only did what the appraiser saw. I have a bent up tail pipe that was completely overlooked, but Austin claim he wasn't aware of it. Joe Hudson were supposed to look for any other supplemental damage and that wasn't done. I would not refer this company to anyone!! How can U overlook that tail pipe?? The other vehicle was completely totaled out and even went under my vehicle. Sad!

Had our lexus repaired at this collision center due to the insurance company only dealing with them. The workers were friendly but the work on the car was very sub pair and i wouldnt return to this collsion center again. Not only did they refuse to do extra work on the car so it blended better (which i said i would pay out of pocket for). They did a very non profesional job painting leaving dust under the paint and clear coat, not blending the side of the car good enough or used the wrong color. Looking at it you can tell its different. We also received the car dirty on the inside with white powder on the passenger seat and door and dust all over the car. They also broke the sunscreen mirror which even though isnt a major problem is rediculous and i dont even know how that possible.Services: Tires, Painting, Body & Trim

After hitting a deer with our Nissan Murano our insurance company only deals with Joe Hudson so we were pretty much forced to go with this collision center . We dropped off the car so they could repair the frontend and they completed the work in the timeframe they had set.Upon receiving the car back we noticed that the hood wasn't aligned perfectly but we could deal with it, then noticed the front fender trim wasn't the same as the other 3 fenders..Upon contacting them over this issue it took quite a while to get the right part. No one had record of the part being ordered or if it was there. We finally drove up there and the part was on someone's desk so we had I took the part and installed it myself..A week later I decided to fill the windshield wiper tank full as I noticed it giving a warning that it was low..I then noticed it was going straight to the ground due to the bottom of the tank having a huge chunk missing from it.I once again had to call Joe Hudson and then took it back up there , showed this issue to one of their employees and he then said they would order a new one...that was around 5 months ago and we haven't heard anything since..There's a huge difference between a paint and body shop vs a collision center and I wouldn't call Joe Hudson a collision center.Updating Review based on Joe Hudson Response to Review :Considering that you guys are in fact calling yourselves a Collision Center and managed to take several pics of the damage when we initially brought the car in for the insurance estimate I see no need in submitting anything now for you to make things right..I have already ordered the part and put it on myself now. As a collision center it should have been your job to get it right the first time - not making 4 trips back over things your team forgot or just didn't do the first time..I have also aligned the hood to fender properly as well..My comment about the differences between a body shop and collision center comes from my experience from working in a paint and body shop . Even at that level we had to be better than what you did to this Murano and you are a collision center .. I leave this review for others to be aware of this location . The fender may be misaligned a tad to where it may not be noticeable but customers make sure you have no major damage underlying and I just don't think Joe Hudson goes anywhere near what a real collision center does..Who knows though , in this day and age maybe every collision center is lazy and just in it to collect the insurance money - they definitely had to be constantly reminded of things they missed on mine..Maybe I should have charged the insurance company as well for the extra trips I had to make back to Joe Hudson and in the end had to buy my own parts

Years ago I had a great experience with Joe Hudson, so when I had some minor work that needed to be done, it seemed the obvious place to go. I made an appointment in April, explained what had happened and where the issues were - pointed them out and offered to show the estimator pictures of what it looked like right after the incident (he didn't respond). Apparently he didn't listen to anything I said or look at what I was pointing to. The estimate came in very low and I said so to him. They had a two month waiting period before they could work on my car. I was told me it would take "up to 3 days to do the work". I took the car in in mid-June as agreed. Twelve days later I got my car back (they said they were waiting on parts that whole time....apparently they didn't order the parts any time in the two months between the estimate and the work. They charged 2.5 hours of labor. If they had the parts before I took the car in, I should have gotten it back the same day. I would have gladly pre-paid for the parts or changed the appointment to have the work done to a later date so that I would not have to go without a car for 12 days). When I picked it up I immediately saw the main problem had not been fixed. I had to come back the following day to explain the issue to someone else, who told me it would cost about 3 times as much to fix the thing I had pointed out the the estimator originally. I told them I wouldn't be coming back.

Geico sent me here to get my car repaired after being in a collision to my back end. Not only were the entire staff super friendly and knowledgeable about what needed to be done, they got my car fixed a whole week ahead of schedule! They sent me text messages about the status of my repair the entire time. I've never felt more at ease having a body shop work on my car than with them, and my dad is a mechanic!

Joe Hudson did an excellent job repairing my car!!! They were very prompt with checking me in, get me a rental and the service was great!! Even though they are 35 min away from me, I will use them again if needed!

From the moment that I arrived to the completion, the team was professional, thoughtful, and thorough. The receptionist was friendly and processed me quickly and efficiently. A team of two people politely examined my car, obtained the report, and provided me an explanation. The insurance representative quickly processed the rental car, which was extremely modern and a delight to drive. After I left, I consistently was kept informed by phone calls and texts as to the status of my car. I am completely satisfied and impressed with their service. I highly recommend Joe Hudson's Collision Center! It was a very pleasurable experience.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS! The paint work was satisfactory, but I had to take my truck back twice, because the rear bumper wasn t put on correctly. It was set too far back and I couldn t get my trailer on the hitch. I had to take the truck back a third time because they didn t install the camper top correctly. The camper top was just sitting on the bed of the truck. How it didn t fly off and cause another reck is a miracle.I picked up the truck and was told I owed nothing. I asked another employee and they checked and also told me I owed nothing. I had the truck back for 27 days when I received a call from Joe Hudson s Collision informing me that they have made a mistake and I owed them a $500 deductible and I had to pay it within 30 days of picking up the truck or they where going to turn me over to a collection agent. I replied, You made a mistake, you inform me of your mistake 27 days after the mistake and you are giving me 3 day to pay or your going to turn me over to a collection agent. They said yes. I went the next day and informed my insurance agent about the entire incident. The agent stated he was going to report the events and faulty repairs to the adjuster. In conclusion the paint work was satisfactory, but putting the truck back together was very unsatisfactory, and the treatment I received from the office staff and manager was unprofessional and condescending.Service: Painting

I got an estimate from this shop earlier this year after my accident. They scheduled my car for repairs on May 10th at the time of the estimate (2 months out but I was told due to the backlog). They called May 9th to advise me that not all of the parts for my repairs have arrived and they were waiting for a few more items. I was advised they couldn t set up a new appointment for said repairs until all of the parts had an arrival date so they could schedule me. I was quite a bit alarmed they waited so long to advise me of this issue as I had completely re-arranged my schedule for this appointment. I have continued to contact them numerous times since then and was given what felt like a blanket response. Each time I am advised someone will reach back with me and it is a coin toss on whether they actually did contact me back without me calling yet again to get a status. When I did get a status it s was we haven t received a date from the vendor at this time so we still can t set up an appointment for your repairs. It came off as though they didn t want or need my business. At the 5 month mark. I went to a different shop, got an estimate and had my car repaired with brand new parts in less than a month. The best thing I did was going to another shop due to the amount of stress this shop caused me.

Unfortunately I've dealt with Joe Hudson's more than I would like, deer just seem to love my car.However, I have always found the employees to be in a word EXCELLENT!! I always suggest Joe Hudson's to anyone needing work done.Thank you all again very much!! This time Steve and Rachel at the South parkway location here in Huntsville were fantastic!!

The staff at Joe Hudson's Collision Center needs to be more considerate when texting/calling a customer to pick up a car at closing time on Friday. I was called at 4:20 and told my call would be ready at 4:45 and that they close at 5:00. I also had a rental from Enterprise that needed to turned in and final paperwork completed by 5:00. Plus needing a ride from Enterprise Rental to Joe Hudson's Collision Center, all in 40 minutes. Steve even stated in his message that they would open back up on Monday morning. No regard whatsoever that I had a rental car that needed turned in to Enterprise by 5:00 on Friday. As a result, I did not make the deadline, but Allstate would not pay for the rental car over the weekend because according to the insurance company my car was ready on Friday. I was charged over $90 that I would not have had to pay if the staff at Joe Hudson's Collision Center had not given me a 15 minute window and a message almost at closing time to pick up my car. I am 95% satisfied with the body work that was done on my car.Service: Body & Trim

They seem to do good work, but they replaced my chrome bumper and left some kind of tar or adhesive on it in several places. Not a big deal; I would still recommend them. If it were not for that, I would give them 5 stars. I also have evidence that they let my truck idle for quite a long time which should not have been needed to replace my bumper. However, they only drove it for 1 mile which is good.

This is the second time that they have worked on my car. The staff is excellent. They just take care of you so well, holding your hand through each step of the way. Very professional employees. Fabulous work! Would recommend again and again!

My car has been confirmed as total loss but they keep giving me and my insurance company the run around about the 7k check they cashed. We have been trying for months now for them to send the money back to the insurance company but haven't and keep getting us the run around. Will not give us a tracking number on this matter. Everything has been recorded and looks like a lawsuit will be filed.

Brought in my car for front end cosmetic damage and they claimed that I never had bottom valence on my vehicle, when I know for a fact it was there. If you like getting scammed and poor craftsmanship then take your vehicle here. I was highly disappointed at the service that they will provided. This was my second experience with Joe Hudson's Collision Center, and my second fantastic experience. From the minute I made the appointment to start the process, to driving off the lot with my repaired vehicle, I knew exactly what was going on. I received email updates, text updates, and phone calls throughout the entire process and was constantly aware of the work status. The repairs were perfect and they were actually done the same day I dropped it off.I would recommend Joe Hudson to anyone requiring collision repair, especially if you are working through an insurance company. They make the entire experience painless. Great work.

Over the years, I've had my vehicle serviced at Joe Hudson's Collision Center on three separate occasions. Once due to an unfortunate incident with a fire hydrant, once due to a car accident, and most recently because my sun visor completely broke off. Each time I was treated with courtesy and respect. I am extremely happy with the work they have done on my vehicle. A friend of mine originally recommended them to me because he was pleased with their work and now I recommend them to everyone that needs repair work done on their vehicle. They truly care about doing a great job. They want you to be happy with your vehicle after they work on it. They take pride in their work.

Seth and the team was beyond awesome. I received updates on my car in every phase via texts and emails. I felt like a priority and a valued customer. I am beyond pleased with the work, the time it took and especially the customer service. My 2011 Acura looks brand new. I don t remember where the damage was. They are very effective and efficient!!I made one phone call to my insurance company, Geico and everything was set up for me. Dropped my car off on Monday morning rental car was there and ready to go. Car was completed ahead of time. Seth did a complete walk around with me and ensured I was very happy!!! They go above and beyond. Haven t had great customer service like this ever!!

I was very pleased with the service I received. I received a call and/or email daily regarding the status of my vehicle. The repair took longer than expected however my technician Steve provided an explanation that was detailed and satisfactory. Chris also provided additional information about the repairs that were done and the time involved at the time of pick-up. All of the staff were very helpful, curteous and professional. Joe Hudson, south parkway has great customer service, provides excellent collision repair and I would recommend them highly to anyone in need of collision repair. Thanks.

I had an amazing experience with Geico and Joe Hudson' Collision Center here. They were some of the friendliest people I've ever met and made my car look brand new. They kept me up to date on every aspect of my repair and had my vehicle done ahead of schedule. I would absolutely recommend them and will go to them with any future needs.

I am very favorably impressed and happy about my car repair. Joe Hudson explained in detail what will be done to my car. They did it very quickly. At all time I was informed of the progress. The finished product was beautiful. I am totally satisfied and will recommend Joe Hudson for any car repair work.
