It was a Sunday and it was very cold but that didn t stop Josh and his team from providing great customer service. I m not sure what I would have done without their help. Good guys that do good work. I ll definitely be back when the time comes for new tires or service.

Service was quick and a pleasant experience. Only downside is they didn't have Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Synthetic. I did speak to the manager to see if they can get it for future oil changes and she said she would make some calls and see what she can find out. Overall, very pleased. They were even very complimentary on my Challenger!

Today at Pep Boys Hueytown AL I received Top Of The Line service.Totally professional in everyday.My problem was solved and the cost very economical for the type of work performed.. One Happy first time customer Thanks to Blake and Joel

I have used pep boys for over 11 years multiple vehicles I think they're fantastic and if I do ever have a problem they resolve it.I've always dealt with the store on academy drive and hueytown. And district manager Ricca is awesome

Mr. Josh was absolutely amazing. He meticulously explained every detail of what they were doing to my vehicle and made sure to keep me updated daily until it was completed. His professionalism was exceptional, and if I had the opportunity, I would give him a perfect score of 10 or higher. Thank you, Mr. Josh.

Love this place. But, I don't stand behind all of them. The only one I truly deal with is the one on Allison-Bonnet.I've been to others, and people make the company.This one, I truly feel comfortable in trusting my car with them. The service is spectacular. They are polite and genuinely couteous.They also have a few eye candy mechanics....ijs. . I wasn't looking or anything.

FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!! If I could give ten I WOULD! From customer service all the way down to turnaround time! Christian was amazing! He helped me from the very second I walked in. He was super busy but continued to let me know he would be RIGHT WITH ME and he did. He displayed excellent customer care, even from conversing with me while I waited til the moment I left. I have never had an experience this good at any vehicle maintenance entity! They have gained a for-lifer customer and that s for sure! Leslie did my actual alignment and he was just as amazing with the quickness of the whole process. He even left my AC running so that I didn t get into a scorching hot vehicle! These guys are the best hands down!

Called and scheduled appointment and confirmed how long it should take to have new tires put on and also asked the day before if I could actually come earlier and was told yes it would not be a problem at all. Gentleman was very nice and accommodating but once we got there HEATHER so called manager would not take us early and then said it would be a 2.5 hour wait while putting tires on because they were training. We were given a time frame and accounted for that and expect it to be off but that is not expectable. She was rude and had a little power which has gone to her head. Will not go back.

Great job. from beginning to end. front desk advised me of my tire and reminded me of my road hazard that saved me over $200. The tech did his job great this time. normally i have to bring my car back in for them to correctly balance, but this time the tech did it correctly the first time. my car drives like I'm on air

Don t go here! Horrible communication and their estimates are off. Dropped our car for a typical tire change and told it would take a few hours. Long story short a few hours turned into almost a 2 week wait. Someone kept dropping the ball on ordering our tire. And we were originally told $199. Went to pick it up after calling a 3rd time. And the new total was $350 for one tire!! This place is a joke and has lost our business.

They are always thorough and very honest. MANY times they could have charged me for services or repairs I didn't really need, but they instead were honest and fixed only what needed fixing. They have EARNED my trust over the 20 years I have been going to them.They aren't always the cheapest. But they are honest and I can count on them to do a good job. That's worth everything to me.

I was told $800 for a tune up on a car that doesn t even have 60,000 miles yet. I agreed because I had a road trip coming up. Two days later my check engine light is back on. I take it back in and they say it s now my fuel line. They also will not provide me any error code details and charged me $100 to plug my car in when the PepBoys survey said it was supposed to be free .

I have to say the new management seems to truly care about her customers and building a great team. I noticed a difference immediately as I walked in for my oil change. Great job, Heather. And great job Pepboys for finally providing a good experience.

I've been coming here at least 10 years and continue to return because of the customer service. Christian, Rodney, and Terry have always been kind and eager to help me with the recent issues I've been having (and any other time). I'm aware that everyone has their own experiences, but mine are always pleasant.

Had tire issues on a travel trailer while heading out on a weekend trip. It was late Friday afternoon and two guys and the manager stayed past their shift and closing time to get me going. Got good tires at a fair price with excellent service!!2/15/2020Had another great experience with Hueytown Pep Boys. These guys have customer service down pat!!

The new management that the Hueytown location has currently is beyond rude! My employer tried to call and question why a charge from January was not paid and the guy that answers the phone was extremely rude by telling her that their conversation was done. The man who handles accounts receivables/payables, Christian, was rude with her also! He hung up on her without even saying bye or giving her an answer on when the outstanding charge would be paid. He told her that he did not see the charge and that the employee who ordered it no longer worked there.....well we all know why!!! Corporate will be contacted today and this matter needs to be addressed. I would not use this place anymore based on how they treat, speak to, and handle business with other offices.

This review almost got five stars, however, the day before we experienced, extremely unprofessional behavior by Michelle assisting us at the customer service desk due to me having a wheelchair accessible vehicle. We were nearly denied service, but after pressing the issue and demanding she speak call her manager, we were able to receive service by Noel who was nothing but pleasant. Today our follow up service was completed by two top notch employees Lee & Terry.

Really appreciate Pep Boys and how Christian has taken care of us. We have taken several vehicles to Pep Boys in the last few months and will continue to do so. They really take your situation into account and help any way they can to get your vehicle fixed. Will continue to do business with them!!

Mrs Mitchell I think is her name, the lady at the front desk was so helpful, wound up needing new tires and they helped me weigh my options and overall was a great experience, I would recommend this place. Extremely friendly and helpful, good people to chat with too.

I went in for tires. I worked with Lee and he was excellent. After getting tires I found out I needed more work. He explained everything I needed. I had plenty of questions because I wasn t prepared for anything else. However, after speaking with Lee, I got the additional work done. He broke down the pricing and all discounts available. I was satisfied and hope all that encounter him, will feel the same.

This place is ridiculous! You call and get out in hold FOREVER. You just can t ever get any help for them when calling. I don t need to go all the way up there if they can t help me. That s why we call. They apparently have enough business without ours. Bessemer doesn t have an issue answering their phone so we ll go out of the way to go there.

Overall terrible experience I wasn't charged the 34.95 the website states to diagnose my problem was charged around $70.00 also other services I signed up for were ignored I had to wait an additional 20mins just to get my vehicle once it was done and advisor wanted to charge me over 650USD for part and labor just ridiculous I should of recorded it!! Needless to say I found the part and labor for $200.00 I SHOULD OF RECORDED MY TIME THERE AND UPLOADED BUT WHAT GOES AROUNF COMES AROUND

Honest service!!! Went in for an oil leak evaluation. Found out the oil leak was coming from an oil filter that wasn t put in correctly. Thankfully, Pep Boys was able to complete an oil change the same day, rectifying the leak. I m so glad they are a trustworthy establishment. As a young woman, it s refreshing to know a place like this exists in our area.

They do not deserve any stars, but had to give one to get posted. My husband & I have been going to Hueytown shop for years, 7/9/22 will our last. Took my 2017 Santa Fe in for service on 7/9, advised the front desk needed tires rotated and car was making a whirling whining noise. I thought it might be my tires, was told immediately it can't be our tires, without driving it. They called after driving and was told the mechanic advised he thought is was my transmission and they were not suppose to do further work since they do not work on Transmissions. Thought this was nuts since rotating my tires did not effect the transmission, they went ahead and rotated my tires. Of course I was worried about my Transmission and did not want to drive the car until I could get to the dealership. Was able to get it to Serra Hyundai on 7/18. Well guess what - it was my tires making the noise, all four were worn on the inside thread. I had Cooper Tires that should not have needed replacing - low mileage since Pandemic and purchased from Pep Boys. Pep Boys did not mention anything about the inside wear on my Tires when they rotated them, and they specialize in Tires??? Truly do not know what their problem is can only think they do not know what they are doing or do not care. if they would have done their job it would have sold four tires with a sale of over $800. My car is perfect now. If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing do yourself a favor and do not go here.Very Unsatisfied Customer.
