Mickey and Corey took great care of us today! We got a quick oil change. They were both so pleasant to talk to. They also caught one of my tires near popping and gave a reasonably priced option to fix it. Very happen with the Grove location!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! We had our Range Rover towed to this shop Saturday, March 16th due to a coolant system failure. They called us back Monday after inspecting the vehicle and advised us that the plastic crossover on the back of the heads was bad. They also advised that the water pump and adaptor were leaking coolant as well. They recommended a replacement of the coolant manifold, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, crossover pipes, and 14 hoses/tubes and several seals and gaskets. The total price for this work was quoted at $3,628.79. Our warranty approved to pay $2,108.98.We called multiple times throughout the week and they stated they were working with Assurant to get the repairs approved and authorize the payment. We were not advised the payment was authorized until today, March 23rd. We picked up the vehicle today after paying $4,089.85, noticed there were black smudges throughout the drivers side interior, drove 7 minutes to return our rental car, then our vehicle gave a warning that the coolant level was low. We drove back to the business, had them inspect again to which they advised the system was losing pressure. The mechanic then stated that the bleeder screw was cracked and leaking coolant. The mechanic stated that he was surprised because he claimed the vehicle had been test driven for 5-10 miles and showed no warnings. He ordered the part but gave no time estimate to when it would be there which was a massive inconvenience considering we just turned our rental in and had to wait with our 3 small children for several hours. Thankfully there's a Chick-Fil-A nearby where we walked to kill time.He installed the bleeder screw and claimed to have taken it for a test drive. We pick the car back up, drive roughly 7 minutes home when the car started to jolt and gave a transmission fault error. When calling them back about this issue, the mechanic advised that he saw no reason the vehicle should be doing that based on the repairs that were made. We then asked if the vehicle was having any strange behaviors when shifting while he was test driving and stated that it did one time. When asked why he didn't disclose that to us when were picking up the vehicle, he state "I don't have an answer for that". At this point, we've decided to have the vehicle towed to Land Rover of Birmingham to further diagnose the issues.Since we've been home, we've been through our invoice and claim authorization from Assurant and notice multiple discrepancies resulting in us being overcharged.

I come here for my regular "stuff." They are always super friendly and there's never much of a wait. Today I got Mickey and Kam. Kam was still in training. He was polite and informative. Mickey(manager) was kind and seems like a great teacher!

Doug and Jack were both so helpful and kind. Jack answered all my questions over the phone, while Doug offered helpful advice regarding maintenence. I just needed new wiper blades but the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely be having my future services done at The Grove location! Thank you Jack and Doug!

I was long overdue for an oil change. My car is finicky and I was having an issue with the service lights. Mickey was extremely helpful. Especially when my key fob stopped working! Mickey was patient, kind, and attentive to the issues I was having. Seth stepped in and helped fix the problem. Thank you to Mickey and Seth for your assistance! They really went above and beyond. Both gentlemen were wonderful and I highly suggest servicing your car here!

I Usually have good service here, but this time was different. The manager was working on my truck and after he filled the oil he asked me to start the engine. I asked if the oil filter had been changed because I knew it had not been. He said absolutely. I said that my filter is on the top side of my engine. He said the technician had changed it below. He then asked a coworker about it and they informed him it was on top. He did replace it. He did not check my tire pressure, or any of my lights or signals nor did he clean the windshield. Maybe it was just an off day.

After a rotate and balance, all 4 tires were flat when I got up the next morning. I asked them to replace the valve stems but "Jack" said they didn't need it. He indicated that my problem was the air indicator caps I put on the stems. However, leakage was detected both with and without caps.Needless to say that after using Tire Engineers for 20 hrs, I will NOT be going back.

I came here after my car s dealership refused to touch my car because it burns oil (known problem), but they refused to do the extended warranty because it was a known problem. Everyone at Express Oil, but especially Doug was beyond kind, helpful, and gracious with me as they got me taken care of until I can get a new vehicle. Doug made me feel safe and comforted and didn t treat me as if I didn t know anything about my car. Truly the best experience at an oil change place (where I typically dread coming).

We moved to the hoover area 2 years ago I m very fussy about who works on my cars. Mike at Express was recommended as the go to guy for all my Corvette questions. Mike has done all my oil changes and answered all my questions on my C7 Corvette and now on my C8. He knows more about my vehicles than I do.All the staff is extremely knowledgable and very friendly. Since moving here he has performed maintenance in both my Corvettes and on our daily driver. Great team. I highly recommend themServices: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

Maybe they re gettin a lil cocky by all these good reviews. My car started smoking around the front hood area just 2 days after I had it towed in for repair. They took almost a week inspecting my vehicle and claimed nothing was wrong. I just had it towed AGAIN. This time it will go somewhere else who caresEDIT: yea I know you re an automated response and not the owner. regardless, I tried to respond with the link provided and I have no idea if you received the message. Guess I ll have to call your shop on Monday

The workers overlook patrons as if they do not care to provide service to everyone. They discriminate and fail to do the job and provide the service that customers pay for. If you don t keep track of how your vehicle performs before you take it there for service and check behind them to ensure they actually did the work to your vehicle, you may have to revisit the store and prove to them that they actually did not do the work they led you to believe they did. Thats what happened to my family and the vehicle that was taken. Its horrible! I rate them a 1/5. They re not doing good business over there at the grove location.
