EXCELLENT service and customer service! Great quality of work for a cheaper price than most other glass companies I've used. Everyone that works here is friendly courtesy && informative. I was able to get a same day appt to have my windshield replaced. All in all I'm very satisfied with the work, the price and the finished product. I definitely recommend the glass doctor to anyone who needs residential or automotive glass work.

Best experience of all the glass companies I called to try to get an estimate on repairing our windows.Ended up going with them and so glad we did. There is a process, submit photos to the techs. They will get back. They had to put a ticket in. Then I got a call a tech would be out to look. They came. Then they ordered our replacements and thought it might take up to three weeks, it didn t. Maybe a week or so for the glass to come in(which is out of their control depending who the vender is).The tech came out. Keith was nice and super professional. He even put my blinds back up for me. I would use them again. I hope I won t have to but if I do this is the company I am going with.

The glass doctor did an excellent job replacing my passenger side window for 60% of the cost quoted by a popular national competitor that advertises nonstop. The appointment was prompt and the waiting area comfortable.

They were wonderful to work with. Great communication, excellent service, talked through my options and explained in detail possible outcomes so I could make an informed decision on what I should do. Their customer service is outstanding. Had to visit them two days in a row. One chip fixed one day. The next got hit by rock on interstate and was back very next day getting that repaired. Will use them for everything glass related going forward.

I called and got an appointment all in the same day. The price was about $100 cheaper than Safelite. Once I got there, it only took about 20 minutes to repair the chipped glass on my windshield. Can't even see where it was!

Recently had a back window replaced in my car at the glass doctor in Homewood. Did an excellent job,at at an excellent price. The Technician explained to me how to remove the interior moldings so I can replace the wiper motor And when I replaced it, it was so easy because of his assistance. I would highly recommend them to anyone. also, I called on Christmas Eve and they actually answered and set me up an appointment for Tuesday. I was expecting to get an answering Recording but I got to talk to A human,I was so impressed.

Took 4 weeks to get tech out to replace single window pane. Pane fell out 3 times while tech was installing and injured tech. Bruce Neal, the manager (and maybe owner of franchise), was rude and condescending to my wife when she tried to express her concerns. Tech left broken glass inside our house, messy caulk all over the side of our house, and a ripped window screen. After two days with no window, it was finally replaced, but new tech couldn't get caulk up without pulling paint off siding. My wife again talked to Bruce, who explained how minor the issues were and how unreasonable she was for wanting it fixed immediately, because the panes falling out was an accident. No apology for the inconvenience or for the mess on the principle of providing a quality service. Finally decided to get our contractor to come back out to fix trim and siding damaged during pane replacement. I had to call Bruce to explain my disappointment in their poor workmanship and lack of professionalism, and we came to an agreement that we would pay a reduced balance for the pane replacement in the amount of what we were now paying our contractor. They did replace the pane, but it was not at all a pleasant or professional process.Service: Window repair

10 Windows replaced (red pictures) with unprofessional workmanship. They take advantage of Retired Seniors. They do NOT honor Satisfaction Guarantee. After 3+ weeks window glaze not dry. Poor product quality. NOT a "Neighborly Company".

Took my car in last week to get my windshield replaced. The service was fast, professonal and great quality. They were also much more affordable than other repair services.

While on a recent trip, my windshield got hit by a rock and had major damage. I contacted Shaina at Glass Doctors and she was able to get me in the same day so that I could continue my trip as scheduled. Bruce Neal and Tony greeted me when I arrived and quickly got the team working on my windshield. I received excellent service and they were very professional while making me feel welcome.

Came out to mearsure & order glass half down remainder due at installation. Great service so far we will see in 7 to 10 days. Boarding up is extra. Window & installation 442.00

Highly recommended! Dropped off my truck around 10:30 in the morning, was informed that it'll be around 1pm before they could get to it, which was perfectly fine. Got a phone call around 11:45am saying they had my window replaced.

My car window had been broken into by someone, along with things stolen from it. Being completely stressed out in that case, it was hard to find a good place that had good pricing on replacing windows, along with quick turnover times. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! They make the experience for you so easy, in a stressful situation. Shaina helped explain the entire process to me and got me in and out in enough time to get back to work!! When trying to find a good priced and best quality place to go... Choose Glass Doctor of BHM!!

My car was broken into at Enterprise in Hoover unfortunately while out on quick military leave. I called this location and they replaced my passenger front window within an hour. Customer service was great and hats off to the guy who picked up and replaced my window! Very affordable too! Thanks so much!

Have had a rear window and drivers side door window replaced. Both times, they quoted a price and time for the job to be done and both times the price didn't changeand they got the job done exactly on time or a few minutes before. Only reason I'm giving them a 4 star rating is because they left glass both times. Not a tremendous amount, but enough that they knew they left it. I did ask for them to make sure to vacuum the second time, they did a better job then the first time but left in all grooved areas and cup holders. However, quality of work as far as installation goes was perfect and I have no negative issues there. Their rates are very competitive, actually s far as all windows except the windshield they have been the cheapest.

While a good value initially, they do not adhere to advertised policies. Their website states that "every windshield replacement comes with our standard Windshield Protection Plan" that covers any issues in the first 12 months of replacement yet they will not adhere to this policy and dismiss customers who ask questions.

I brought my car here in August of 2022 since Safelite (the company my insurance was recommending I use) had HORRIBLE reviews. Glass Doctor came recommended so I requested my insurance use this place. Upon scheduling my appointment, the lady on the phone sounded like it was a bother to schedule the appt. That should have been my sign to find a different place, but I didn t. The day of my appt. I arrived shortly after they opened, and the lady at the front desk just looked at me when I walked in without even speaking. Since she didn t speak, I told her I had an appt. and that s when she asked for my key. It only took 30min from the time they took my car back until it was done, that was great! HOWEVER, later that day, it started to rain and that s when I realized they did not put my wipers on correctly, they did not sit properly and smacked up against my car when it swiped the water away. At that same time is when I noticed there was a line of, something, all the way across my windshield (in my direct line of sight) where all the water would collect instead of rolling down the windshield as it should. When it stopped raining and the sun came back out, I noticed that the window had scratches all up and down and in numerous locations. I called them back to voice my concerns and was presented with the same lady who, again, acted as though it was a bother to handle my call. I brought it back the next day to have the issues corrected. Except, they weren t fixed. He did manage to fix the wipers (they were put on backwards). He sprayed degreaser on the window to prevent the water buildup which did not fix the issue. So then he told me it was my wipers, they were old and needed to be replaced (they aren t even a year old and worked just fine before this) and that s why the water was collecting on the window, in that one spot. I pointed out all the scratches but that was a waist of breath because he acted as though that was normal. If I m paying for a brand new windshield, I should not have all of these defects/issues. The girl lacks customer service skills. When working with the public, even if you are annoyed, you are not supposed to show that to the customers. Especially when they are the ones keeping the company in business, therefore, keeping you with a job. Never once was I rude or disrespectful even when voicing my concerns because I know what it is like to work in customer service, being rude never gets you anywhere. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this facility.

Husband drove from Northport to Alabaster for repairman to come between 8:30 & 10:30. Appointment pushed back to around 3:00 (after no show by 10:30). Assured by office he would come. Canceled a few minutes before 5:00. Repairman had no intention of coming because he couldn't finish by noon. HOW did his office not know this! Horrid service.

cracked my windshield on my way to work. called and got a quote for a repair. staff was great. i was in and out in less than 15 mins.i will be using Glass Doctor for any future window mis-haps.

Great experience with Glass Doctor. They came out and replaced a windshield and the seal around the windshield did not completely close. (I found this out after a little rain) However, the team here happily addressed my windshield and replaced it with a brand new one even though they could have simply tried to fix only the seal. The quality of the work truly matters to this team and they stand behind their work 100%.

The replacement of my windshield was quick and easy. I showed up at my appointment time and I was out in less time than I was quoted. I shopped around and Glass Doctor had the best price in town. And the new windshield looks great! Plus they offer a one year warranty with no charge for labor should your glass need to be repaired or replaced.

I was contacted within hours of making request through my insurance company. The glass specialist was very professional and nice and showed up at the exact time he stated. It was obvious he knew what he was doing and I had no misgivings about leaving my car in his care. The quality of the service was excellent and I would highly recommend Glass Doctor to everyone.

I wouldn't let these techs touch my gas saver. I went to bama glass who not only didnt charge me for coming to me but their window price was more than a 100 bucks cheaper. Bama will service all my cars and work fleet of trucks from now on
