We were traveling out of town for family vacation and got a nail stuck in our tire along the way. They plugged our tire and got us back on our way with no issues. Thanks for the great southern hospitality Tankersley s!

Kenneth and the Tankersley crew were fabulous. We needed a tire repair service after a highway incident. I knew that the repair would probably not be possible and the crew quickly confirmed my suspicions. Kenneth worked with me on ordering the parts and setting up the replacement. We had to return the next day for parts, which was expected. Early the next day, we received a phone call confirming that parts arrived and we made an appointment. When we arrived we mentioned to Kenneth that we had an errand to run. We were going to walk, but Kenneth wasn't having it. He offered us a loaner vehicle and told us to take our time. When we arrived back at the station, our vehicle was ready and parked near the cashier. Checking out was seamless and the prices were comparable with a few other outlets. We were so impressed that I told Kenneth that we would be back for a tire service on our other vehicle. There is nothing like dealing with a local family business with a long history. Thank you!

A local landmark of service! Friendly folks whether getting gas, tires or just jaw-ing!!! One of the few places left that will give "full service" at the front pumps! Break the chain store habit and visit "Kenneth's" you won't be disappointed!!!

Awesome service! My tire went flat. Put the donut on it but by the time I got there, that was flat too. Decided to just have all 4 tires replaced.Mr. Tankersley, himself, took care of getting my car right up on the lift. There were some problems with the lugnuts being stuck and a couple broke. Since it looked like it would take a while, Mr. Tankersley had one of the young mechanics drive me home.I was expecting it to take hours but they were done within two. Mr. Tankersley then sent the mechanic to bring me back to the shop.Now THAT is just plain, good old fashioned customer service and at a very reasonable price. They will definitely be getting all my future business.

I moved here about 6 months ago. Brought in a Honda Accord for a 4 wheel alignment. I have lived in many states, and am a DIYer as I baby myself cars. Tankersley s has been by far the friendliest shop I have ever taken a car to, and was very pleased with the explanation of service performed, as well as the quality of their work. For anything this guy can t handle, I ll be sure to take any of my cars here.Service: Wheel alignment

I had a 2010 Tahoe LT and needed new tires. So I called, they were super nice and very professional over the phone. I called around and matched their quote with other tire stores and found that they had the best price for a brand new set of cooper tires. I showed up in the morning and it was nothing but smiles, handshakes, and just an all around friendly atmosphere. I watched them put the tires on, and they never missed a beat. They started the lug nuts before tightening them so no threat of cross threading. They even lifted my truck up on the lift and showed me how to change the sway bar links after I had brought up that a different shop had tried to quote me on changing it themselves. I can't speak highly enough about these guys. They have the Coots family business from now on and I'll never go to another place to get tires or have anything else done. They were absolutely amazing. Thank you guys for your service. I will definitely be back. Als . They add the tax in on the tires so the price they give you is the price you pay when you are at the counter. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Great place. I get all my service work done there on my truck. It's like walking back into history when gas stations were service stations and Tankersley's has never let me down. I highly recommend them.

Quick service and knowledgeable advice. I bought a nice used truck for my wife and wanted to make sure it was up to snuff. The team at Tankersley's treated me like a person instead of a number, gave great advice, and the service was super quick. Definitely will return.

Kenneth is always nice to me, as well as the entire staff is VERY FRIENDLY. They are very quick to begin service work if that is what they are there for. Service is always fast. Now I am only reviewing the front shop, not the shop in the back. THEY STILL HAVE FULL SERVICE GAS PUMPING, check oil I think to. But the best impression to me is how quick they begin service on your vehicle. Their prices are high I must say. A basic oil change is over 40.00. Maybe I am behind times, I recently carried my truck and I supplied all of the oil and filter. They charged 23.00 for labor just to change the oil, I was kinda surprised.

I was referred by the local Ford service department and called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist couldn't address my concerns, okay, fine. She said that "maybe" someone would call me back later that afternoon. "Maybe" I needed my suspension fixed ... so I took it somewhere else that was more interested in helping me.

Tankersley's was in business before I was born. It was a Full Service gas station and auto shop. They "filled you up", checked your oil and tires, and then washed your windshield!In fact, I stopped there last week to have my Freon topped off!It's always been a pleasure, doing business there!

First time at this location and I was extremely impressed with the service and the staff. They started on my vehicle quickly and finished a lot faster than other shops I visited. The staff is very friendly and I will definitely bring my vehicles here for service in the future.

On my way back to Louisville from Tuscaloosa, my daughter and I had a tire go flat on I65 Northbound. We changed the tire to our donut and headed to Walmart Super Center in Hartselle. After waiting for about 20 mins and being told it would be almost 4 hrs to have my flat tire looked at I had to find another alternative. I called and spoke with someone at Tankersley's. They told me to come on down and would HELP us out. We get there and the staff was so friendly and took our tire and pulled it off the rim. They said that it couldn't be repaired and that I needed a new tire which they didn't have. They called a shop down the road for me and said to head that way and they would assist us further. The staff was so friendly and helpful that if I did live in the are I would take my car here for any type of repair. DO NOT take your car to the WALMART Super Center up the road from here. Save yourself the trip and head to this place and they will take care of you. THANK YOU so much for helping us out, we truly appreciate the help and friendless of all involved in getting us home!

Great place to take your vehicle for any type of problem, they are fast, efficient and one of the only places in North Alabama that still offers a full service gas option. Great customer service and they get you in and out like a NASCAR pit crew.

We have been in business for over 30 years and I have delt with the Tankersleys for years I really appreciate that they run there business like we run ours on honesty and under the good Lord its hard find a business like them that you are covered in every side if u need air or flat fixed a tire changed they will fix u up and if u need mechanic work done be sure u see Harley he also does alignment work also how many people have u ran across that honest like them. If u want to go some where that its fixed right and deal with honesty and integrity they are the people to see . Thats the reason mr Tankersley awesome !!!Anderson motors

I've know Kenneth for several years, always stop by to see one of Alabama's biggest fans when im in the area. I buy gas, tires and get some wonderful southern hospitality, good folks here do good work and they still pump gas the old way...

Liked to go over there to get my tire serviced due to the flat & helped got it patched for it & it's kind of temporary for the tire to get me going.
