I have nothing but good to say. I'm from Haleyville but live in Huntsville. Got 2 estimates in Huntsville but when i tried to schedule it. Couldnt get a return call at all. Needed a whole brake job and Tim worked me in the next day. And saved me several hundred dollars definitely worth the drive back home. Great customer service!!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! I needed a tire in the worst way and came in exactly at closing time. I offered to leave but the owners wouldn't have it. It was the type of buying experience that you don't worry about the price (it was more than fair). The owners obviously had plans but they put them on hold to help a stranger. That is stand up in my book!!! Wish more businesses had this ehic!!

Went in for an inspection of the suspension before I got an alignment. I was told there was no suspension issues and proceeded to buy new tires and go ahead with the alignment. Afterwards I noticed that the car pulled a lot to the right so I went back to get it checked. The guy got on and we drove it around and the car still did the same thing. He gave me different excuses as to why it was doing that but he reassured me that the aligne y was good. It s been a couple months and im already needing a new set of tires because of a bad alignment.

Had work done that took twice as long as if I did it myself in the driveway. Labor was over $100/hour. Never bringing my car back. Don't recommend anyone to use this place

My son had his car towed here for minor repairs. They were nice people and did the work quickly and and had the car ready when they promised. Cost was what we were told it would be. Wow, honest people. Bless this business.

I had 2 blowouts on my gooseneck trailer when working out of town. Hicks was extremely helpful with getting me back on the road.

Hicks has always been one of the friendliest places to go for all your tire and wheel needs. I go here if I need anything for my brakes and they always know what's going on. They are super helpful and friendly. Normally I hate having to get things done to my car but not when I have to go to Hicks. They make it easy and easy on my wallet.

Took my friends car here to get brake shoes. They were fast didn't get grease on the steering wheel(they put it plastic cover over it) but wish they had taken it off so I didn't get grease on my hands. Did a good job. Wouldn't allow me to pull my car into the bay. But I thought it was a little high $154.00 for a 30min job.

They bent my wheels taking my car on a joyride then tried to blame me for it, claiming the damage was done prior. Lies. Blatant lies to protect their company from liability. The alignment they did chewed my tires up. They overtightened the oil filter, I had to spike it to remove it, and they over tightened and stripped my oil plug causing me to spend even more money to fix my brand new car. That is old school dirty business right there. Yes, I called and cursed them for all this. All the man did was deny, deny, deny.I'm a disabled vet, a former mechanic. I can't do the work myself anymore but I know shady mechanics when I see them. This "home grown" backwoods shop is as slimy as they come. I've got pictures to back up all this. Don't take your car to Hicks unless you want some hick to mess your ride up.

Terrible service, I paid $20 to have them rub grease on my tire and tell me they couldn't find anything.I headed over to Tom's and he found a nail in my tire, no charge.When I came back to complain they told me "good for you" for finding the nail they couldn't, refused to refund me, and told me "people make mistakes"Don't come here for service, they wouldn't know their @ss from their elbow.

Got my wheel bearings taken care of for cheaper than it would have costed to attempt doing them on my own. Also, they were capable of taking care of the axle that was messed up. The workers were nice and were fast at their job. Will go back in the future with more vehicle needs when the time comes.

I will NEVER go to this place again. Once when I went to get my tires changed, they tightened the lug nuts so right, one of them sheared off. Another time, I had to get my oil changed. When I went to do it myself a few months later, I found out they tightened the oil pan nut so tight, I had to use vice grips after stripping the nut out. As well as get another person to help me pull as hard as we could just to loosen it.

Great service, except when my wheel was mounted it was tightened way too tight. Had to use a "cheater pipe" for increased leverage to remove wheel to complete scheduled rotation.
