Great people...I have a lot of vehicles on the road. From time to time, one has to be towed, some stuff moved, etc. When you have to be towed, you automatically get worried is someone going to take advantage of the situation. I have had those times.I called on Whitaker, and they responded, they didn't over charge. There rate were very fair, and they responded quickly. Every time. The office staff was very kind and responsive. When I have and will use them again. They have done a great job.The highest compliment I can give someone is that I would feel comfortable with them around my family. I would with Whitaker..

I m a truck driver who got stuck on Hwy 79 in Guntersville headed to Blountsville. Overall, the service was great and the driver of the tow truck helped me get out of the highway safely. I will say this to the company:As a truck driver, we are put in dangerous situations on a daily basis, especially when there is inclement weather; you all know this because of the services you give and the dangers you face. I know that we all can get burnt out or frustrated but PLEASE never take out your frustration on the person you re helping. You never know what that person may be going through. Yes, I m a female that drives semi trucks but that doesn t take away from my skills and ability to follow prompt directions or operate my truck.Thank you for helping me get off the highway safely and my prayers are with you all as you help everyone keep rolling

My car was towed after being involved in a wreck and I wish so much they would have called a different company. I had someone willing to pay the fee to get my car released, she was going to do it over the phone because some my car was wrecked no way of going. Only to be told that she was unable to do that. I called, this being the third time and each time the woman I spoke with was increasingly rude. So not only poor customer service making an already stressful situation worse, but added fees for my car having to sit over the weekend. Fees I already wasn t able to afford. All I needed was for it to be paid and I was going to have it moved via car dolly somewhere that I didn t have to pay a daily fee for. Oh and I was told they close at 4, but I see on Google it says the business confirmed just 8 weeks ago that they close at 430. I still could have received the help, and given my car out and not paid an additional two days for the weekend except I have to go by what she said and that they close at 4.

Our tow truck driver was the greatest one I've ever had the experience using! I can't remember his name, but he said he has been with Whitaker Towing for about 6 months. He was exceptional & I was very impressed. I would recommend W.T. and him as driver, any day! He deserves a $Raise$

The worst experience we ve ever had. My sister flipped her car 8 times yesterday and had to be rushed to the ER. Today when we went to gather her things from the vehicle they would not let us get to the vehicle without her license and proof of ownership. Like i said she flipped the car 8 times so when getting her out of the car no one was concerned with getting her license or proof of ownership. after telling the lady at the front multiple times that those items were in the vehicle and she could find them if she would let us but still would not. After multiple attempts we had to call the police department and they had to force them to let us get to the car. terrible experience and the lady behind the counter had no manners or sympathy for our family and the terrible situation.Cannot believe they wouldn t have the common sense to understand the situation.Service: Car towing

My husband and I just had the greatest experience EVER with a tow truck guy! We went to go deliver a TV to 2 kids that didn't have any presents to wake up to on Christmas morning. We got our front tires stuck in the front yard while getting the TV hidden inside. After many failed attempts, we called Whitaker. They came within 30 minutes. Gave us the cheapest quote out of every tow company in the area. He was so friendly and nice. We've never had such a good experience, especially given the situation. It is one we will never forget!! Highly recommend!!

Some of the nicest people! I had to get my Jeep towed and the poor tow truck driver took an hour to get it off his truck. My ball joints were broken, so it didn't want to roll off. Anyway, they didn't charge me more for the troubles.

Called Richard on Monday November 21st about moving a shed was told he was booked ithru Wednesday but could do it at the end of the week called him on Wednesday to get together on time and was told to call him back first thing Friday morning when called he was very rude told us it would be after lunch cause he would have to call someone in we told him Saturday would be okay if easier for him he told us he would call us back after not hearing back we tried 3 times calling him and got sent straight to voicemail it s Saturday the 27th at 1:00 and still havent had a return phone call. Left us in a big bind and scrambling to find someone to do it at more that what he had quoted to us. I know Whitaker s and they can do better than this. Update: about an hour from posting was contacted by Torrey and the situation was handled and made right this is the Whitaker s I know will definitely use them again great family even if he is an Alabama fan . Thank you.

If anyone ever gets their vehicle impounded through Whitaker's, I better have proof of ownership on your person because they will not let you get the tag receipts or title out of a vehicle

Everybody thinks they overcharge. Y'all go buy a 300thousand Dollar wrecker and insure it and get back with me after trying to make a living with it. Then you can complain.

Broke down in the middle of the road, Whitaker came out quickly and got us towed to the mechanic shop.
