My wife and I were down in Gulf Shores snow-birding it for the Winter. Unfortunately, discovered our Nissan Rogue was dripping grease from a torn CV boot on the driver side CV shaft. After researching reviews, we found GSBP. They seemed to really take care of their customers. At times, even above and beyond what I thought a maintenance shop could do for customers in need.We met Tom for check-in. He, along with the staff, were over-the-top pleasant and easy to work with. The price quote was very reasonable, and certainly better than a dealership could offer. We let them get the replacement part first and brought the vehicle in the next morning to be installed. There were plenty of shops, parks, and food in the area to keep us busy during our wait. When the vehicle was finished, we were able to talk with George who did the repairs. Struck up some great conversation and we both got to know him and share some great stories. A fine gentleman that did top notch work. This is an incredible place and it is because of the people working there. Next season, when we come down again, it's comforting to know we have a car maintenance shop that has our backs if we run into trouble. Highly recommended shop! Thank you all at GSBP for getting us back in action again. All the best!Steven and Shelly

So, we got into beautiful Orange Beach for the first time ever. Soaking up the views when an unfortunate thing happened to our car - the sort of thing that could have derailed the rest of our vacation. I googled to find a local repair shop and got so damn lucky when I found GSPB. Long story short this could have been a prime opportunity for a repair shop that was less than honest but when I pulled in I was met by the kindest man on Earth! He inspected our car and gave it a clean bill of health, no charge, just responsiveness and integrity. I failed to get his name but I m guessing he was the owner or manager of the shop. Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!

The mechanics were awesome! So friendly and they saved me in a big way.I broke down while on vacation, 12 hours from home, the week before Christmas. They had me fixed by the next morning and didn't overcharge. Highly recommend them!

So thankful for this place! We were on vacation, thousands of miles from home, when our vehicle started leaking gas everywhere. They got it in and fixed so quickly and efficiently.

Out of towner here and I was so impressed with the service provided. Not only a friendly and quick service but with the anxiety of my car I went to do a quick check before pulling off, only to be greeted with a helpful quick check of reassurance and a farewell. 100% will recommend!

Brought truck in for repair of leaking pinion seal. They repaired that as well as a crack that was discovered. All is good, they were very professional as well as reasonable in cost. Will definitely bring any other issues I might have to them.

Our family vacation had come to an end. As we were about to head back home, the tire sensor light came on. Not knowing where to go, I quickly did a Google auto search to find good reviews for GSBP Automotive. They sure did not disappoint. Small screw that did not penetrate the tire was found. All tires check and they sent us on our way with words of safe travels. Thank you guys! Much appreciated!Service: Tires

A tow from another company had completely wrecked the whole left underside of the car the day before we needed to go back home. GSBP fixed the car right up and even talked to the towing company about getting payment for the damage they caused. Amazing customer service and super quick. He knew that we needed to be on the road and he fixed us up and had us out on our way within 1.5 hours of the car getting on the rack! Tom is a good man. Any other auto repair place would look at two out of town women and instantly see dollar signs.

They are really nice and will be honest when it comes to your car. I know there s some places that pull random diagnosis from their butts to try to get some cash out of you, but not them. They told me they could fix my car, and once I took it there, it didn t take long for them to tell me that they couldn t and that I should take it to the dealer. I was upset at first, thought I wasted my time, but then realized that on the bright side - they were being honest. I m glad they didn t try to do something they were unsure of.

I first contacted GSBP on Wednesday after the 4th of July weekend to get help with my truck. They informed me that they were backed up from the weekend and wouldn t be able to work on my truck until Monday morning. I told them that would be fine go ahead and get me on the schedule for Monday morning. I work in the service industry myself and understand having to get caught up. I arranged to have my vehicle towed to GSBP so that they could work on it the following week. Monday rolls around and I do not hear from them all day so I gave them a call at 4:08PM. They told me they did not get to my truck on Monday and it would be first thing in the morning on Tuesday. I was Sounderstanding of the situation and just waited until the next day for them to get caught up. Tuesday morning I don t hear from GSBP at all so I give them a call at 8:27AM and get told they will not be able to get to my truck until Wednesday Fast forward to Wednesday and same thing do not hear anything from them so I give them a call at 10:54AM. Once again I get told they have not had time to get to my truck and they would get right on it on Thursday. Didn t even bother calling them on Thursday and also never heard from them on Thursday at all. Call them Friday at 7:26AM and get told that a technician is about to look at my truck this morning first thing and they would call me when they figure out something. What do you know do not hear anything back so I call them at 11:17AM and they said it will maybe be during the afternoon. I asked what happened to Monday and they asked who I talked to and acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I told him to leave my key out for me and I would pay yet another wrecker to take it to a different shop. I would give them zero stars if google would let me. Absolutely horrible customer service and very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I think $108 for the oil change in a little bit much. That s what I get for not asking. $27.50 for the lube + service, $58.71 for the oil, $11 for the filter and $11.05 to dispose of the oil. $193 to drop the oil pan to look for debris. I requested this but I should ve asked for price first. I did send them an email regarding the cost of the oil change last week, but never heard back. I know lots of Jeepers in Gulf Shores & Foley, and I won t be referring them to GSBP. The dealership in Foley probably has better prices.

They got my vehicle in the day after I dropped it off (other dealers said it would be weeks until they would look at it), quickly diagnosed the issue, and repaired it after parts arrived. Very pleased with all the work they did! Would highly recommend!

Had a flat tire and needed a patch. GSBP were able to do it when others were not at an amazing price. Brought the tire in and had it patched in less than 20 minutes. Employees were friendly and went above and beyond to get me back on the road!

So, while driving to Gulf Shores from outside of New Orleans on a Thursday, I picked up a screw in my tire. I didn't want to lose an entire day of my vacation, but I knew I had to address this before the weekend. I went to Mavis and was told a minimum of two hours even though three of their service bays were empty. I then went to Riviera and was told it would be "hours". Went to GSBP and the tire was repaired and I was out within 20 mins. Can't say enough of the good and fast service I recieved.Service: Auto tire replacement

On our way down from Michigan to Gulf Shores my wife and I heard noise coming from the front tires. I went to Firestones and Mavis tire had them check for problems, both said there was none just tire/road sounds. Thank goodness I came to GSBP. Within 5 minutes they advised me that my Hob/Bearings were shot! If it wasn t for them I would have had a break down on my way home.I highly recommend. Honest and fair service. I will use them while in GS

Passing through Orange Beach, Alabama at around 4:30pm on a Friday two weeks ago in our Ford Transit conversion van we experienced total brake failure with what turned out to be loss of brake fluid through the right rear caliper piston. I was able to safely pull over to the side of the road and somewhat frantically do an online search for nearby automotive repair shops with good reviews. We were 1200 miles from home and stranded. GSBP Automotive four miles away in Gulf Shores stood out in the reviews for being helpful with others in similar situations. I arranged a tow through AAA to the GSBP parking lot and we were able to reserve a room at the Holiday Inn Express two blocks away. GSBP was closed for the weekend but when I showed up at 7:00am on Monday Tom, the service manager, assured me they would have the van on a lift that morning to evaluate the situation and he would call me with their quote. I walked back to the hotel and Tom called me at 10:30am and said the rear caliper assemblies, rotors, and pads plus the front pads needed replacement and that they could (and did) have the job done before noon the next morning. The price he quoted was reasonable and I was more than pleased by the quality of the work, how quickly it was done, and GSBP's fast acquisition of the replacement parts. I highly recommend GSBP as the best and most accommodating shop I've dealt with.Services: Auto brake repair, Auto brake replacement

I had GSBP work on my 2017 Ford F250 while in Alabama in Feb 2023. when the engine light came on. They said it needed new spark plugs even thou it had lee than 70,000 miles. They had my truck over three days and kept have reasons such as needing new boots. In short in two weeks the light came on again and when I took to my place in Michigan they showed me the damaged coils and corrsion on the coil connectors which was the origanan problem, not he plugs. Most expensive spark plug change I've ever had. I have tried contacting GSBP with no replys on why they did not see the problem. One coil had tape under it not letting it make a good contact. My rating for them is 0. Slow, expensive, and poor quality.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair
