** back story** I was lost on the dirt roads , a couple had creeks running through them... It was only my time First trip .. back from the city of Roinoake Ala... These county roads look so different at night, .. I only passed like 2 cars ... All the way back.... I dropped OFFmy sister from another momma. ( You know ... We hadn't CAUGHT UP in like 6 months at least not face to face... ) Which made for a chatty ride to Newnan and the other places I had errands ... It started out early am... Went to Roanoke first and picked up my partner in crime and headed out, came back by here and let her see the house, things been crazy busy , my move to Muscadine , her move to Roinoake, your moms surgery, we just had a constant dose uncontrolled chaos... Well i left with 1/4 tank of gask gas... This adventure screamed gas station... The whole trip was a new ,uncharted adventure... Up until the being lost in the dark, dirt roads with literally a creek of flowing through it. It was early when I coasted in to Debs Place... for GAS... there's like no place to get gas on the county roads of rural Alabama... The clerk was the proud Momma, of Deb... Owner of Debs Place, She went over and above helping me find my way home... She wrote down the 3 turns .. it took to get me home, AND .. ( YES MAAM, THERES MORE...) AFTER WRITING DOWN THE DIRECTIONS, SHE ADDED HER PHONE # ...said if I got lost to call her .. so the trip to Roinoake, which should have taken 2:20 mins ended up taking 3 plus hrs... And about 3/4 tank of gas . It was well worth.... Everything.... The company yesterday phonominal.... I missed my bff... Deb's momma was meant to be behind that counter this am.... The coffee at Debs was really good especially after driving down it seemed like every long dark dirt road ..IN RANDOFF COUNTY.... THE PLACE IS A SMALL OWNER GAS STATION,Coffee WAS FRESH and like I said she put a just a bit of personal touch ... And made my very long night and turned it in to an actually decent morning... I asked her if she was Deb, and she had replied nope "I'm Debs Momma".... The gas was 2.64 per gallon... And the Gas Pumps don't have credit card readers .... They don't auto shut off.... Reminded me of a time back in day ... Where the gas pumps very vintage , the grocery store was inside ... There was one set of shelves, they were 2 sided so it was 2 asiles <a small meat cooler and a rc / cola machine out front... That had the glass bottles. You turned in for deposits so you'd have enough for a new orgine soda on walk back...***** Deb's place and her momma was a breath of fresh air, I wrote down how to find Debs Place again.... It has a lotGood vibes... And welcoming atmosphere... We found this place by chance, we will be regulars my choice... Those big covenice gas stations...you can't get the old time service there... Not like Debs Place.... This morning was exactly what we needed....

The store is alright but watch out for first name Mallory last name Bruce that lives in the area, she ripped off a cousin of mine out of some money

I have lived in the area for 3 years now. You couldn t ask better than to be out in the country with beautiful views and fresh air. Everyone I have come in contact with has been great except Bernice. She and her husband own the store and the logging company. Even her daughter in law is wonderful! Bernice let s the locals charge goods at the store. I have come to find out it comes at a cost. She s as nice as can be to your face, behind your back is a different story. You know she s the towns gossip. It turned dark for us when I told my husband he would have to quit spending so much money there. I told him he would have to get the things he needed at Walmart. If he needed to charge from time to time that was ok. We when that happened we started saying $150 a week. Bernice would no longer let my husband charge gas if he wasn t buying everything there. That s fine. Her store. My husband usually would charge Friday to Friday. Never missing to pay her. His bill was $125 the last week we used it. Our bank account got hacked and I was locked out of our account until I could get to the bank that following Monday. I called to tell her this and all she did was raise her voice. And the she started texting my husband threatening court . She got paid of course. I am not dealing with the drama. She lost a loyal customer of 3 years all because she was mad we quit spending as much money in her store. So if you deal with her use caution. From what I was told by many in the area she is famous for that.

Well I work here, Ive NEVER been rude to anyone!! Sometimes a customer is ill and thinks its us!!! We love all of our customers!! Have a Blessed day Hope to see ya in Graham

I love them like family I go spend the day with them while my husband is at work drive the track for jerry nole s logging and he owns the store too he's a good man and his wife is too

Normal country store. Had a guy blocking gas pump, looked like a drug deal with another guy. Who walked across lot. Never got gas just sat there talking. Store attendant just watching from inside. Kinda aggravating when you trying to get gas and they just sit there looking at you like your in the wrong!.

Only one if the lady's is nice. If you don't pay close attention to what they charge you if you get credit there cause they will add money to it without asking.

Pitiful excuse for a service oriented busness. How rude can pepole be to not only not help a traveler in need but exacerbate the problem by being hatful. a new low.. A real shame these people represent Alabama to travelers.near the state line. Do yourself a favor stop in GA

With two kids in the car including a screaming infant we pulled over to get out of the pouring rain. No one else was in the parking lot to fill up. We sat under the awning for 5 minutes to feed the baby. A lady came to the window of the store, pounded on it, and waved us out from under the awning. Glad we didn't buy anything.

Nice little country store. Ethanol free gas is available here. Local family run business. Keep it local.Shop with people you know

Rudest and sorriest people to ever own a store. I would walk for miles to another store before I brought anything from these jerks. Do yourself a favor and don't stop here. Ever!

They have crappy attitude. Anytime u wanna use a cc one min its five next time ten dollars to use a cc.... Old gas pumps if u go over a penny make sure u pay it or they will beat on window n yell.... Thats just my opinion

The convenience stores around this location in every direction have a better selection but, she will give you free stuff on credit.

Limited selection and needs a remodel. You can tell the local people don't have much of a choice in stores or this store would be in serious trouble but the people do not have a choice.
