Worst store ever! Both bathrooms closed for cleaning cashier's all standing around. Not acknowledging anybody's existence and trying to ask how long the bathrooms are going to be closed for cleaning and then five coffee machines are all down saying clean now! So here it is. 10:00 at night. The point where people get tired maybe want coffee and need a bathroom break from the interstate. Don't get it here cuz it won't happen. They just apparently don't clean all day long and wait until the middle of the night to sit on the counter and do nothing

On the inside, it's always clean & they've got great food and great prices. It's not a small store so it's bigger than your average door and their prices are better than most gas station process as far as gas is concerned. I'm sure the food is long same lines as matter fact I would kind of compare to the circle K. Hope you're hungry and you don't want to wait in those long lines like Taco Bell then come here and then grab a couple pieces of pizza and a drink and come out just as cheap.Also, I hear they got some great prices on a whole pizza so if you want to order and go pick it up, it's much much much cheaper than it would be your local Pizza Hut

Stopped by here because I know race track typically has food about this time of night apparently this store closes its kitchen at 6:00 p.m. I did not receive the welcome that I was supposed to receive per the customer service handbook and I was sold alcoholic beverages without identification which is a violation of policy overall experience I wish I could leave no stars.

It is not open 24 hrs. Employees are there, but the door is locked. Signs are posted closed for maintenance or just simple sating open at 530am. Stopped at 330am and the Employees was outside smoking, but the store itself was locked.

They say they are a 24 hour store but by 10 pm they lock the doors and won't let any one in. They walk around holding each other's hand. If they are that scared of operating a service station at night maybe they need to find a new career.

Best experience ever at a gas station!Excellent customer service with a smile, and a fantastic frozen yogurt bar with no extra charge for toppings.Our kids loved it!

apparently both bathrooms were closed for cleaning and it was self-checkout only 7:30p?? Seems like this is not the first time this has occurred looking at other reviews.

I came in to use the restroom after a 6-hour trip, and I was dying for some pizza to warm me up but no one was even there at the counter, went out and then came back, still no one. Unbelievable! It looked really good

So besides the roaches every where in this store the woman who worked 5:45pm on the 13th of December 2023 is the rudest lady I have ever met! I tried to ask for my kind of cigarettes but before I could finish she yelled do you have an id! Like woah lady yes I do I didn t say that ofcourse and I laid it down on counter and she wobbled back to the cash register. Then I told her I had coupon which she rolled her eyes and proceeded to scan cigs and then said mam I need your phone for coupon! I mean I don t know how she can wobble around there without smiling or greeting people and she doesn t even have a name tag on her which she clearly does because she doesn t want to be reported for her nasty attitude. Just thought I would put her on blast and the roaches too

This store has really gone down. They don't seem to take pride in their work anymore. I have gone in multiple times now and every time is always something. They stock out of date products, don't have items readily available for purchase, and the bathrooms are horrible. If you're not going to do your jobs please find another and allow someone else fill these positions.

Pumps are always messed up and the people inside are rude and could care less. The pizza is always old and the roller grill items never spin like they are suppose to. I was so happy to see RaceTrac come to the Birmingham area since I am from Atlanta and that are so awesome their. Today I paid to pump gas and the pump said begin fueling, but no gas would come out. I kept trying and the pump timed out without giving me any gas. I went inside and tried to explain, only to be told I would have to pay again if I wanted gas. Well guess what. I can't pay again because of the hold that was placed on my card for the gas I didn't get. Very unhelpful and rude people that just rolled their eyes at me like it was my fault. Not the first issue I have had at this place, but it will be the last. I'm done with RaceTrac.

I'm convinced this place is only open for like 2 hours a day. I don't think i've ever come here off peak hours and the doors weren't locked. Sometimes there's a sign sometimes there isn't. Guess i'll just keep going to the shell.

Not open 24-hours! This place seems to be always closed for temporary repairs. I prefer to go here when it is open.

We stop here for a few minutes to get some snacks, fountains sodas and a bag of ice for the coolers. The attendance inside was very nice and friendly. Inside was clean, cool and comfortable atmosphere! Everything was stocked nicely, we found what we needed in a timely manner. And was back on the road again! HAPPY SHOPPING & TRAVELING!

Worst store in Gardendale. Employees hiding behind counter not wanting to check out customers. Bathrooms still closed. Poor employee attitudes. Worst store if you can go somewhere else.

RaceTrac filling station/is my pic of the day for a great travel pit stop. The sights and sounds of the culture come and go on their way to a fun fantastic destination. They offer convenience snacks of all taste.

Went to get some soft drinks from fountain. As we drove up, the appearance of the store was clean and inviting on the outside. Parking places well marked. Fuel areas were clean and stocked. The interior was clean and neatly stocked. Restroom looked great. Employee greeted as we entered and was very pleasant at checkout. Nice clean uniform/appearance of employee. Nice thank you as we left.

Need to change the posted store hours. It is not 24 hrs. There was a single guy behind the counter cooking food but the entrance doors were locked. Could of at least posted a sign or have some kind of notification on the door saying other wise. With all of the lights on and the store looking fully operational when pulling into the parking lot, could not tell that the store itself was closed

This is the best gas station in the USA and it's not close. They have athe vest gas prices. There is a sink and changing table in the bathroom stall. There is also an ice cream bar. The workers are awesome.

MEN'S RESTROOM HAS A BLOCKED TOILET AND SLL EMPLOYEES ARE EITHER ON THERE CELL OR OUT SIDE TALKING TO PEOPLE!! NOBODY IS DOING THEIR JOB!!!!!

A great place for filling up the car and getting snacks. Really clean. Service is great except occasionally king lines at the cashier or there may not even be a cashier. They do have a self checkout but it's credit card only.

In and out, clean restrooms, ice cream, coffee, both regular and self checkouts. I was impressed with his clean it was and self serve identical/yogurt flavors, ton of fountain drinks, tons of coffee flavors, I mean this is a full service station all the way around from gas to restrooms to about anything else, pretty cool!!

Stopped in to grab some cokes. They did not take cash and when he saw what we were getting 2 cokes. He asked us to use the self check!! Not a way to impress at all! Race Trac y all gotta do better. That s piss poor service!

Very nice store, employees friendly. They keep everything neat & clean.Nice coffee section . Appreciate they have (Green packet sugar-Stevia).And they have section for fresh slices of Pizza , it looked very yummy, wasn't able to try any, because I had just eaten.Clean restrooms.~And even have three Self Check Registers ( First time have seen this @ Gas station. (I thought it was quite funny).

Got gas then went in to use the bathroom and they have both completely blocked off with coolers . I really needed to use the bathroom and my 7 year old do too don t say you have a bathroom when you don t!

I use E0. I stopped to get fuel and the E0 87 Octane was $3.98.Went across the street and got E0 90 Octane for $3.24Good location. Good service during business hours. Exiting on the west side during busy times will lead to a backup into the service area.

Stopped to get gas on the north side of Birmingham bc nothing is open. Went to run inside to use the restroom and the doors are locked. If you aren t 24 hours please change your hours.

It's clean it's a good size although race track is known for its hot pretzels hot soft pretzels and the two ladies didn't neither one of them wanted to go make one so that's why I pulled over for the pretzel LOL
