We had an abrupt loss of tire pressure on I-65 N a few weeks ago after running over some road debris, we just made it to this Firestone on a Sunday in the late afternoon. The staff was courteous, efficient and able to locate our tire warranty info from an out of town store quickly. What could've been an expensive hassle became a minor delay on our family road trip thanks to the team at the Gardendale Firestone, thank you!

DO NOT visit this location. I have used this location in the past and had no problems until today. Someone who works at this location stole a $700 camera out of my glove compartment. When asked to speak with the mechanic who worked on my car about it, he conveniently had to leave for a family emergency. Never again.

We were traveling to Mississippi when we experienced a rear brake failure. We were able to get in at 7am, and the guys were able to work on it right away, we were back on the road in just a couple of hours.I appreciate all they did and how we were treated.I highly recommend this Firestone dealer for all your automotive needs.

New tires put on my wife s car. Drop car off that morning and picked it back up on lunch. 2 of the 4 rims are scratched really bad. Asked the manager about it and he replied curb rash . Curb rash that appeared from them mounting my tires and didn t want to own up to it. If the mounting machine is not set up just right it can cause this. I know they weren t scared up like that before but I don t have anyway to prove it. So I m warning others. Don t go there. Terrible job will not be back. Hopefully this will save someone from the mistake of using them.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Last May I had 4 new tires put on my Dodge Ram 1500...May of 2020I bought the alignment warranty and today went in for a alignment check and tire rotation...3/13/21Arrived 2 pm. ...left 5:30 pm....they broke a stud getting the tire off...Went back today for a check on my tires balance and to get them rotated.All went smoothly...was there about 2 hours.

Horrible service and my car is still there not touched. They messed up my oil pan and refuse to fix what they broke. They were rude and we were called a racial slur when leaving. My car is still there and oil is everywhere.

Wanna thank Mr. Randall taking time out of hes busy day to check my oil and tire pressure he is such a polite man he was very helpful and generous they should be more people in this world like him i can tell he takes pride in hes work he made sure that I didn't have any nails or anything in my tires not only did he check my oil he also checked all of my fluids as well and topped off my washer fluid he went byond and above thank you Mr. Randall I'll definitely will be coming back to this firestone

I made an appointment at this location to get my tires rotated and an alignment about 2 weeks go. I drop my car off and later on I get a call from them letting me know I will need new rear brakes soon (he told me I could go about another oil change which is around 6000 miles) and that I would also need new rotors. He then proceeds to tell me that they also could not get my car aligned all the way because my tie rod was rusted . He quoted me $820 worth of work that my car needed. Well today I took my car to another Firestone (HWY 280) to see if they could align it any better. When at the 280 location they showed me that my tie rod was not rusted and nothing was wrong with it and got my car aligned perfectly. He also said that I would need new brakes really soon rather than waiting the next oil change. He was kind enough to show me my brake pads (they needed changing) and I asked him about the rotors and he told me they were perfectly fine. Everything I got told at the Gardendale location was a lie!! It really feels like they are money hungry! I feel like they wanted me to go a little longer on my brakes so they would get in the rotors and they could charge me for brakes and rotors and then they completely lie about my tie rod to try and get another $500 from me. It s so sad I can t trust a mechanic to do the right thing to keep my car running and my family safe while on the road.

My visit was really great. The tech was very helpful. My wait was short after being told it might be a while. Clean lobby. I got a free oil change for applying for a Firestone card . Wow. Can't beat that. My only complaint no tech to check out mechanical things. That they advertise. Told I would have to go to Jasper. But oh well.

Edit: I was under the impression I had road hazard but did not. I didn t make sure it was on my paperwork I ll take blame for that. Also they were supposed to reset my TPS sensors and did not. Very aggravated!I know everyone is short staffed. Right now everyone is. I dropped my car off and left it for the day to get a new set of tires. Everyone was extremely friendly and I got my car back in a reasonable time. When I get back in the car my tires had extremely too much air. They have a max of 44psi. Every tire had over 44psi. I know too much air can mess your tires up very quickly. Also I asked for the tire to be put back in my car with the exception of one that had a leak. They forgot to put them back in the car when I checked out they caught it and quickly loaded them up. But they didn t know which one had the leak so I guess I ll figure that out myself. Not the best experience but not my worst either. I m thankful for the ones who actually showed up to work.

I will never go back again. We had our tires rotated and balanced as well as an alignment. After driving it a couple of days, we noticed it was pulling to the right. We took it back and was told it was the road. When I requested they check it out they refused and said I could schedule an appointment for the following week. Will never take any of my cars back.

April 22, 2023 13:00I scheduled an appointment a week ago for 13:00 to have tires put on my car. I ordered the tires and had them shipped to the store. When I get to the store they say We don t have an ETA on when your car will be ready but it ll be before we close at the end of the day . Bad business.16:30 Same dayI go back to the shop and they offered a free alignment. I m appreciative of that and they are nice at this location! Just takes so dang long!

Probably the worst place you could ever go to get anything done to your vehicle in the Gardendale area save yourself the time and money and take your vehicle to express they will do you right there.

I bought tires with warranty at this store. Today My tire went low, So I aired the it up and Went to Firestone to get it checked. As this could be dangerous and I always grandchildren in the car with me. I got at Firestone around 4pm I was told by Jamie they didn t have time to look at my tire. Mind you when I pulled up a worker was standing next to a car on the rack typing on his cell phone . I asked if I could bring the next day and was told you can bring it early but no guarantee I will have time to look at it. In all my years of buying tires I have never went in and told someone that I bought the tires from that I was having an issue with my tires and was turned away. I guess he didn t care if I had a flat going home or not. I am mean seriously how long would it have taken to check to see if I have a nail in my tire and patch it. Another man in front of me was wanting a set of tires and made a comment to Jamie that he had tried to set up an appointment online but would get the appointment to go through. Jamie told him good thing because the app doesn t know what he availability he even has. That was a slap in the face to your website by your own employee. Unfortunately I have to try to go back tomorrow and see about getting my tire fixed it s to dangerous to drive on a tire that is going flat. I was going someplace else but i bought the warranty and it s firestones responsibility to repair my tire. I will give a follow up tomorrow on what ends up happing. UPDATE. So I did take my car back and I left it. They had the tire fixed before closing and even offered to stay late since I was at dinner an hour away. I did appreciate the offer but just told them I would pick up the next morning. I will definitely use them again to buy tires. I just need to be more patient.

Our car did not even make it to the interstate before our "repaired" vehicle broke down again! They did not even test drive it, just said well it started and we did what we could.

Was told they would do a full inspection of my vehicle I had all day for them to inspect and 3 hours later my concerns were not addressed along with not installing new tpms because they wouldn t work with their machine, but they were never opened from the packaging and no fix for my check engine light or tire light or exhaust leak or suspension problems I asked to be inspected and charged me for it then they had to go back and re-drain my oil again to put in the the bottle of Lucas oil I asked them to do in the first place and still don t believe they did that! This place is shady and don t actually do complete auto care and are afraid to do work and claim nobody there can do extra work after the guy told me he would look at all my concerns and recommended another Firestone nowhere near Gardendale where I live! I didn t know he meant just look at it! I need a mechanic not some do boy that hardly sells tires! Never going back ever! Reasonable prices and staff is polite.Long wait to get in but service seems good so far.I made an appointment at 7am to get tires and they were finished at 11:30am.After 3k, I waited 2 hours for rotate and balance.No WiFi in waiting area.

Terrible service. Worse Firestone I have ever had the misfortune of using. The short older balding man whose name I believe is Jamie is always rude and unhelpful. I don't know how this location stays open as it is never staffed with techs and has him for a service advisor.

I purchased my tires from Firestone several years ago and I had purchased a life alignment when I bought my tires. Firestone does not have any record of my purchase for my tires or wheel alignment when I went in for my service recently. They stated that they only have me coming in only a few times with this vehicle in which is not true. I purchased another lifetime warranty recently but it was very unfair because I already had one. I also had a tire rotation and balance and the mechanics placed the metal weights on my chrome wheels instead on using the adhesive weights on the back side to avoid damaging my chrome wheels. I called them when I noticed the incorrect weights were placed on my wheels and they were very nonchalant about the wheel weights, I will be taking my vehicle back tomorrow for to correct this problem. I have been a very loyal customer throughout the years with all my vehicles to Firestone Gardendale but I m not sure anymore. Some of the staff do not care about their customers anymore only about what they think it should be.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

My family and I was traveling through on I-65 and had a tire go bad on the rear of my truck pulling our 41ft 5th wheel camper. We started calling around and got in touch with a gentleman at this store and they had our size in stock. Talked to him about our situation and they made it possible to get my tire replaced before they closed. If it was not for the friendly people that work there we would have been down for the night and lost basically a day of travel. Thanks for the great attitudes and help from all involved.

Went today to have my tire pressure sensors checked on my Ford Explorer. The service tech there was quick and verified all my tire sensors were working correctly. The tech didn't even charge me a service fee for checking. Good guys here.
