I called cowboys auto service today and a gentleman by the name of Michael answered the phone and I told him I had a F-150 and it started to shake when I come to a slow stop and he literally told me what the issue was and at first I was skeptical!!! I decided to make the drive to Cowboys Auto Service and sure enough he was right and saved me a few thousand dollars with his great knowledge... It's hard to find and honest mechanic anywhere these days but Michael was straight up with me and save me a lot of money.

To slow about getting vehicle fixed It's our son's truck that was taken to y'all from the repair shop about 2 weeks ago. It's taking way to long to get it fixed.

Cowboys was the only garage that picked the phone up last Monday when my Envoy decided not to crank. Within 3 days I had my Envoy ack and running like a top and all for a very reasonable fee. They are nice and knowledgeable. Thanks Cowboy's!

Brough vehicle in to have what we though was a spark plug wire or coil pack gone bad and was told it would be $246.00. After watching John pull off all the wires to check them he tells me it's not either one that its a injector and to bring it back on Monday and he will fix it hopefully nothing else wrong with it he says. And that that was almost a $500.00 job off hee doesn't find anything else wrong with it.I call my mechanic in Florida because that's were I'm from and he says drive it home that it doesn't sounds right. We drive it home and sure enough it was what we though a spark plug wire $46.00 part. So sad and I really though this was the go to place if something happened to us while working in Gadsden.Never again!! Glad we knew better and waited! Pictures clearly show gee had to have see it burnt up when he took the off to check it...

I can't say enough about Cowboys and Mike !! They are the only ones I trust with my car. When NO ONE could find a part for my car, Mike said I can get it and not only did they get it but it's running better now than ever. If you need a mechanic I strongly recommend Cowboys....they are AMAZING!! THANK YOU AGAIN TO MIKE AND EVERYONE AT COWBOYS!!!

Cowboy's has been a great place to have my cars serviced. I do some of my own basic maintenance, but anytime skills, time or knowledge is beyond my modest capabilities these guys are honest, upfront and easy to work with. Their prices are very competitive and turnaround is great. Another aspect is that no matter what makes I bring them that other centers might be less than eager to tackle (Volvo, Subaru, Hyundai, etc.) they're up for it with the same great service. Highly recommended.

I have used Mike for a few years. I wouldn't take any of my vehicles anywhere. 1st off he stands behind his work 100 percent. But I cannot remember a single time I have had to take a vehicle back for the same issue. 2nd, he and his staff are always willing to explain the problems I had with my vehicle and any checks I can perform to make sure my vehicle remains in good order. 3rd, he has never gouged me on price. All his work is priced right for this area as we are not all rich around here. And finally 4th, his repairs are always done in a timely manner. As we all know when our vehicle breaks down, we need it back asap. At Cowboys they understand this very well and have always got me rolling again very fast. Thanks for all you do to Mike and his staff. I appreciate ya'll.Service: Electrical

took my wifes mercedes to get diagnosed,i already knew that it was smog emissions, also the locking gas cap was faulty, was charged $75,was given an estimate, which was high considering i boiught part (smog pump for $75 online.I found time to install the pump and to my dismay the pump was unpluged,1 hose and the 2 prong electrical. Why leave unplugged for a very high price that took an hr to install,i had heard was a very reputable company(,but i leaned at a young age fix everything i can myself)only reason i took the car thier in 1st place was its a mercedes. I did fix the issue(check engine light would come on even after was cleared, after 15 min of driving). the issue was'nt the smog emissions pump,it was a Y vacuum adapter that was split,(i fixed with silicone),I cleared the codes again and wallah....no engine light has come back on(i did put after market pump on but know the bosche i took off was still good. Why not connect everything back ? and the price i was quoted was way too high i saved hundreds(was quoted over $700). Beware of this company,i do not recommend!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Definitely recommend this shop. I took my 2005 Chevrolet 2500 to them for brakes and several other repairs. The owner kept me updated on the status of repairs so I would fully know what was going on and what it would cost. No surprises no secrets. The technicians did a great job completing the repairs in a timely manner. I would trust them to work on my mother s car!!

Love doing business with Mike and his crew at Cowboys. They are always honest and straight with me. They have serviced my breaks on two different vehicles, changed all of my oil,and replaced sensors on my Z71. His prices are very reasonable and his mechanics are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Cowboys!

I highly recommend Cowboy's Auto. Michael was extremely nice and was very helpful. He will have my business with any auto issues I may have in the future. It is very rare to find people that truly care about their customers. I can say that Michael is that person. If I could rate it higher than five stars, I certainly would have done so.

We brought in our vehicle to have the a/c system flushed, evacuated and recharged. Left the vehicle with them before 9 am they called me to pick it up right at 11am. The air works perfectly. Very nice, professional, adept and knowledgeable people. Very fair and reasonable pricing as well. I would highly recommend this establishment and it's services and workmanship.

Michael Griffith and his team are the best!! Our VW Eurovan experienced a major coolant/water pump failure issue while we were visiting Gadsden from out of town. The guys squeezed us into their schedule, figured out what needed to be done on a vehicle that is not very commonplace and easy to repair and got it done. I would highly recommend them to anyone reading this review. Thanks guys!!

Highly recommend Cowboys. Was traveling through eastern AL when my car broke down; clutch went out. They were able to get to it right away, and did a thorough job figuring out exactly what my car needed to get up and running. The cost wasn't too bad, but the best part, especially when traveling, is being confident in the job they did & knowing I'm not going to break down again another 100 miles down the road.

Absolutely saved my butt today!! I had another mechanic shop tell me I d be 1000 to fix my car. I brought it to cowboys, the other mechanic said it needed a ac compressor. Cowboys actually took the time to look at my car and see that the belts just needed tightened.I cannot be more thankful for their honesty.

Simply the best customer service! My Escape was making the strangest clicking sound every time I started it up, and no amount of googling helped me figure out what was wrong. I took it to here, and they figured out the problem quickly and were upfront about what was wrong and how much it d cost to fix it. The vehicle starts perfectly now; I won t hesitate to come back.

I was having a great deal of problems with my car and someone suggested that I take it to CowboysThey were very professional and I didn't have to wait a long time. I will always take my car there. The service was the best that I had ever experienced. If I were you, I would take my car to Cowboys Auto!

I took my 1976 Ford F 100 custom 4x4 that I am restoring to Cowboys to have some pretty major engine work done.I made that decision based on reading the reviews here on Google . They kept the truck for over a month . They had some issues with some parts I had bought not fitting and I had to get the right parts . I ordered some heads and they had them machined ( supposedly) and then they had to order me some headers because the ones I ordered would not work. Anyhow, I finally got the truck back and had to take it back to them several times because it would not run to right . About five different times and now I'm getting a bunch of clacking and noise from the engine ,so I take it to a different mechanic just to find out it needs an entire engine rebuild because the rings are bad . Something Cowboys failed to tell me after taking me for close to 3,000.00 . They even had on the invoice that the oil was changed when in fact it had not been . Does clean look black ? ( See photo below) . Just the other night, the truck overheated on me . Come to find out there wasn't hardly any coolant in the radiator . It took me taking it back to them five different times to figure out the ignition issues on the truck . Those were also at my expense. I won't be back and would not recommend them . I will be having another mechanic who specializes in older vintage vehicles to do the needed work and get it right .Update .. I ended up taking the truck to J&J in Atalla ,and had the engine completely rebuilt .He found a bunch of things wrong that Cowboys did and where they " cut corners" first off , they used the wrong bolts in a lot of places on the engine ,broke off one of the mounting ears to my starter when the mounted my headers ,hooked the temperature gauge up wrong(you don't put the temperature sending unit in the radiator hose gooseneck after the thermostat ,it WILL NOT read correctly ,it goes in the intake manifiold ).. There were numerous other issues he found and as far as your response ,if you cant tell by the engine blowing oil out of the oil breather that there is a problem and give a recommendation to fix it or if you haven't ever heard of checking the compression with a compression gauge ,then I guess I made a REALLY huge mistake bringing it to you and should have researched mechanics better.. Also, for what you charged me to do the work you did ,I had a complete rebuild including parts and labor for less than what you charged me At least this time ,I know the job will be done right and I have a really good go to mechanic that cares about his work and customers .We have also become good friends and I will be taking my boat to him next Anyone need good mechanic work done ,I highly recommend J&J in Atalla ,the guy is honest and reasonable and does FIRST RATE work Newest pic is after the engine has been rebuilt ,runs GREAT !! Thanks Jimmy !Update ,I did find someone more qualified .He is rebuilding the engine in my 59 Fairlane then going to do my boat ..Yeah he isn't cheap ,but at least he is honest and pays attention to detail ..I wouldn't bring you guys a lawnmower to repair . Ya'll royally screwed me out of over 2000.00 and to this day ,I am still livid over it .That is about what my mechanic charged me to do a complete rebuild .You knew what needed to be done and didn't tell me what all needed to be done .Also, when my mechanic rebuilt the engine ,he found a bunch of things y'all had done wrong ,wrong bolts ,bolts missing and other sloppy work

I would not recommend. I was overcharged $80 on a part to fix my car. I asked where he got the part from, he said Advanced Auto Parts. Their price was S209.99. Owner charged me $291. When I asked to see the invoice for the purchase of the part, the owner made an excuse not to show me and told me he would call me later to come and pick it up. I have not received a call yet. I am now not sure if what he said was wrong with my car is true and charged me for something he did not do since he would not produce an invoice showing where he paid for the part. His customer service skills were terrible. Would not recommend anyone to this place. I could have gone to the stealership for this price.

Cowboys auto service is a lifesaver for me. My family was leaving town and the oil light came on and Michael was able to fit me in around my demanding schedule so that we could still take our trip. Cowboys is very customer oriented and they do a GREAT job!!!
