Always heard good things about them and had never had a problem the previous 2 times I took my truck. But a few weeks ago I took it to them for a water pump and high speed fans. They had it done in 1 day but never called me to pick up for a week. Well a week later I m driving and it starts overheating again. Take it straight to them. A few days later they tell me I need a new radiator. They put the radiator in and now I m at $1400 spent on it in 2 weeks now. A couple of days later I m driving it s overheating still. Take it back and they tell me they ll look at it. A week goes by and I never hear so I call them and they tell me they fixed it but I never heard what the issue was. 2 weeks after that I m driving it for the first time and it throws a p0128 code. I take it to them immediately and they said it was the thermostat stuck open. A week goes by and I never hear from them again so I call and they tell me it s ready they just lost my phone number (it was written on the key). The next day I m driving and I start seeing smoke from the hood I pull over and notice a massive coolant leak from somewhere. The next morning I start looking and my thermostat o ring has completely blown out and is hanging out of the housing. I go to completely remove it and it appears they seated it in the wrong spot and tried to glue it to the housing. While working I noticed they replaced the housing screws with 2 different ones and when they replaced the radiator must have lost my headlight screws because there s not a single one left in my lights. I replaced the o ring and refilled and it appears to be doing fine. Friendly people and used to be trustworthy but I wouldn t ever take anything to them again.

Not fancy at all but awesome service! Very very knowledgeable and taught me what was wrong and what to look for next time!! Quick and to the point with a great price and friendly faces! Definitely my new go to for vehicle fixes!

Great service.. I love their teamwork and it did NOT take them all day.. the head mechanic is an honest fair man and handsome .a lady friendly place.. what I mean by that is they didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge..he actually taught me a few things.. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

I would just like to say did everybody at that shop is nice they treat you with respect and they do great work at a reasonable price, I take my vehicle to them anytime I need work done and I know when I leave there it's done right

Always a pleasure doing business with this establishment. When I take my vehicle they take the time out to see what is wrong and thoroughly explain the issue and the fix. They do not leave me in the dark and they don't do unnecessary fixes just to up charge. If you want good hard working honest mechanics this is the place to go.

They diagnosed my car with electrical/computer issues that would require attention from the Honda dealer. He couldn't fix it, but didn't charge me for the diagnostic, and even gave me a short ride home after my car was towed. I requested a tune up . They only change 2 spark plugs and 2 plugs and charged for a diagnostic. They did not change all 6 of my spark plugs now my car is misfiring I paid $333 of my hard earned money . They will be seeing me Monday. C&J's is the best. Honest, affordable, and friendly. They do excellent work. If they can't fix it, they tell you who can. If it does not need to be fixed, they will tell you that too. We've been taking our cars there for two years.

If I have any problems with my car, I take it to them. They have be honest with us every time. When people ask me if I know someone that can work on cars, I always tell them to go to C&J service. They keep my car running!!

Ask them to leave keys in the car because they closed at 2pm that day, I wasn't going to be there til 2:15 they left car unlocked but no keys anywhere in the car, tried the emergency number on the door 17 times got no answer. Sad when you try to support a local small business and they mess you over , I do have to say they we fast to take my money out of bank account Friday. Oil change and Tire rotation $85.00 plus 2 days missed at the beach, let's not forget the nasty man on the phone. Never again. Guess what they broke a bolt off and my daughters tire came off the car while she was druving.

I've always heard that the best way to find out if a mechanic is honest is to take your vehicle in for a basic repair that it doesn't really need. If the mechanic "fixes" it and charges you, then they're probably not the most trustworthy. If they give you back your vehicle and tell you that your vehicle is fine, then you can trust them.I was having trouble with my vehicle's engine shuddering from time to time and was afraid that there was an (expensive) issue with my engine or transmission. My family has used C&J before, so I dropped off my car on a Friday, expecting to spend $300 in repairs at the very least. Despite being busy and having a lot-full of customers, they managed to work on my car over the weekend and called me back in the following Monday.Bear in mind that I went into this expecting to drop a good deal of money, and there are many mechanic shops in Gadsden that would have taken advantage of this and simply cashed out to their benefit. However, the gentleman whom I spoke with told me that my problem could be solved by simply running to Walmart and buying a bottle of Seafoam to put in my gas tank - because I had gotten condensation in my fuel lines. They didn't even charge me for the time.Amazing experience, and for this reason I will always use C&J when I'm having issues with my vehicle.

They are not professional and don't know what they are doing. My vehicle was taken there 2 times for the same problem..still not fixed, worse. My vehicle now is trusted to Putmans for any and ALL mechanical needs.

Good, honest folks who get the job done and never overcharge. I've had work done there several times and on one occasion they didn't charge me because the fix was that simple.
