Our truck had a problem with the DEF system. We took it in to be repaired. Their techs as well as top techs from GM worked on it for 3 weeks & could not get it out of reduced power. They were very professional and kept us informed as to what was happening with our truck as they tried to solve the problem. We ended up trading in our truck on a newer model because the problem could not be resolved. They gave us excellent value for our trade in & had it ready quickly.

Took my son in for maintenance on his car. Very efficient and fast. They were not busy for a Saturday. The weather played a part in them being quiet. We are very happy with all the service we have had here. From buying our truck to our son buying his car. We use them also for our maintenance service. Very happy also.

I went to Southern Chevrolet with two vehicles to trade but was not at all sure of what type of new vehicle I wanted. Patrick, my salesperson, patiently walked me through the pros and cons of everything from luxury cars to pick-ups.In the end, I was treated fairly on the trades and with the utmost courtesy, and drove away in a beautiful car that meets my needs perfectly.Great people offering great products and service with a smile.

I recently moved to Summerdale from Mobile and needed an oil change fluids topped off and tires rotated, I went in on Friday March 4th 2022 because I was headed out of town that day and needed my Silverado serviced, all was good until I pulled into my driveway and noticed a loud tapping noise coming from my engine so I immediately drove back to the dealership, the service writer told the service mgr Chuck that the truck came in with no issues and ran fine, Chuck seemed concerned and said the oil pump guns sometimes don't put in proper amount of oil so he proceeded to check my oil and I asked him if oil was showing on the oil check stick and he ignored me and shut the hood and walked off, but also noticed they didn't check or add to my brake fluid and the washer fluid cap was left open and tires were not rotated and they charged me $112.00 for this service, Chuck took me into his private office where he had ran a Carfax on my truck looking for ways to cover up them being at fault, I had no way home and no family nearby and they denied me a ride home as my truck was no longer drivable, so I then had the vehicle towed to Terry Thompson Chevrolet in Daphne and was diagnosed with lobe wiped on cam shaft and lifters ,they give me a price of $5,300 to repair it so I took it to a mechanic In Mississippi that done it for $1,700 , I then contacted Mark Morgan the owner at Southern Chevrolet and after a few days of him talking to his service manager and service tech he denied it being anything they could have done, but keep I'm mind my truck has all service records back from when it was new and I'm the second owner and it ran great before I took it in for service at this dealership, I would advise you to stay away and not use them it cost me over $2,000 with repairs ,towing, and them charging to mess up my truck , I will never recommend this dealership to any one and I will not be backServices: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Came in for a check engine light... everything went fine with that visit. While at the dealership I inquired about a tonneau cover for my truck. Picked out the one I wanted, verified it was in stock with the service/parts guys, made an appointment to get it installed. Showed up on appointment day, dropped off the truck, rode back home with my wife, and then got a call about an hour later saying they no longer have the part in stock.. they had sold it already. Wasted my day and my gas (as I live 30 mins away), and caused my wife to be late to her appointments by keeping me for 30 mins during the drop off. This place is a mess. Avoid if able.

While at our place in Fort Morgan, both batteries in my Denali HD went bad. I scheduled an appointment on Friday for Saturday because that was first available. I called and asked if I could bring it in on Friday to leave for the Saturday appointment. I spoke with Chuck in service. Chuck told me to bring it in. By Friday afternoon he had both batteries installed (which on a Duramax Diesel is no easy task) and oil changed. Chuck is an incredible guy (Army combat vet) and asset to this company. I will always come back here. Great business with great people. And this is the first review I ve ever left a business.

Do NOT use this place! They were very unprofessional, took FOREVER, and did not care to get my car back to me on time. They had my car for over 2 weeks and still didn t seem to care about getting me my car back or care if it worked properly. Worst service I ve ever had. Southern Chevrolet doesn't do as they promise . after I bought my car they say that's another dept. Pass the buck. That makes me very in happy as I have purchased every new car from them since I moved to this area. The last time I had oil change and tires rotated I was told I had a nail on the side of my tire and I needed to buy a new tire 198.oo and a few cents. When I left I took it to a tire dealer. He said to me the nail is in the middle of the tire . he plugged it And all was wellI don't understand why. Unless I am a female and they think I don't know anything about it. I have been alone for a long time. I think it's sad I can't trust Southern Chevrolet. Kathey taylor

Today was the final straw trying to let Southern Chevrolet make the issue right . Let me start off telling you I traded in a car I was upside down in and paid a lot of money down because of it . Now with that being said the car in question now is a 2015 Camaro SS which I have only had for a year exactly so this car if anyone can guess yes I would be upside down trading it . Now with all that being said let me take you to the beginning. I went in and test drove a car but my best option was buying a new car which they didn't have one that I wanted so we found some options and told my sales man which one I wanted . Easy enough right ??? Wrong showed up to pick my car up and low and behold it was not even close ! Was supposed to be a 6 speed loaded out white 1ss Camaro what came in was a Red automatic 1ss with hardly any options. So to make a long story short I wound up buying it instead of leaving like I should have . Now fast forward. I let them do my oil changes because it came with 2 year 24k miles free oil changes . What could go wrong right ?? Let me tell you.... They will leave your air box off , The car was drove back and forth across the causeway for 2 weeks and 300 miles of dirt and sand drown in the engine. I have pictures for proof and their technician with the service writer as a witness to the amount of dirt found in the air intake system. So after they did a upper air induction cleaning " more dirt put through my engine" . Talked to a person claiming to be a manager told me that I still have warranty on my engine. Humm let's let GM pay for our incompetent service department mistake. I wonder how GM would feel about that I will let you know. Not only did the manager say this the , Technician, The Service writer and yes even the owner said this . So needless to say me being a mechanic knowing what is coming with the dirt being put through my engine. I wanted my engine replaced or my car . Which brings me to this . Emailed and spoke with Mark which says we will help you . Another long story short the idea of help is me paying for there mistake in damaging my engine is giving me no more than trade in on my car and sticker on theirs ! He claims we giving you retail for your car . Hum NADA retail which is in favor to the dealership to begin with. Kelley Blue Book was way higher on Retail . That is beside the point off any of that . So if anyone would like to know why not to buy from here comment and I will be happy to give you my number and we can talk . I have every last bit of this documented and it's in there system too .
