Bought this 5th wheel for my brother from the Petersen family. They gave us a wonderful deal and my brother loves it. The Petersen's have since helped us with small repairs and are always friendly and helpful. We will never go anywhere else. They just don't make folks like them anymore.

My power went out last week and Petersen RV didn t have a tech available so she gave 2 numbers of other RV repair services and the one I called called me back within 10 mins and he walked me through a few steps and it was the main breaker outside, my power came back on, I was SO grateful, my husband was out of town so I was frantic but I will DEFINITELY be using both places!! I just thought it was nice that they knew I HAD to have AC so she knew of other businesses and gave me their numbers,, that s just unheard of where I came from!! Looking for parts for our RV and told the guy what was going on and he didn't have the part we needed but suggested we try something else that might fix the problem and it cost less than the original part we needed.

We are staying at Bella Terra RV resort and were having an issue with our 12 volt system in our motorhome. After we trouble shooted and tested our house batteries, we found 4 of 6 needed replacement. I called Petersen RV Services and spoke to Chris, one of the owners, about getting the replacements. He quickly checked on them as well as verified their cost and called me back in a jiffy. When I went to purchase them, I met Pauline, the other owner, and we had a very nice conversation. The batteries were very fairly priced and Chris loaded them into my car and let me borrow the "handle" to carry each battery. That handle was a life saver during removal of the old house batteries and installation of the new ones. I look forward to bringing the handle back, along with the old batteries, and for my husband to come along this time so he can meet Chris and Pauline. I recommend you do business here if you appreciate great, professional service and reasonable cost.

We had to have a new AC unit installed in our rv. We ordered it and when it was delivered they worked us into their schedule in just a couple of days. I was really surprised at how quickly the were able to get us in. They were prompt, courteous and and made the process seem like it was a breeze. They kept everything neat and organized during the process and cleaned up after themselves. All this and they were extremely fair on the price! If I ever need anything else done I would definitely call them again. I even saved their number in my phone just in case.Service: Air conditioning

This gentlemen is wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. I strolled into here to find a part I needed for my Rv and it was seamless process. Very knowledgeable gentlemen who owns this place. Highly recommend him for your Rv needs.

My RV generator wasn t producing and I assumed a breaker had popped but I couldn t find. A call to Winnebago wasn t any help: they apparently didn t know where it was either. (To their credit, they called later when they found out where it was). So, I pulled in to Petersen s and the lady was apologetic and explained that they did not work on generators. But, she would ask the owner, who was in the shop under an RV, where I might get help. Instead, the gentlemen came up front himself and said, let s go take a look at it. Within 30 seconds of opening the generator access door he had the breaker located and reset. I went and tried it: problem solved. This is really not a big deal but to me it spoke volumes that he would take the time to come and look. In this time of discord and division, finding someone who cares is like a breath of fresh air. Called them about my truck hitch issue and they said I could come by right then. Owner looked at the hitch, tightened it up which was the best that could be done and I was on my way.Great customer service arms willingness to help. Would recommend them based on that alone.

We brought our 5th wheel in to consign on Petersen's RV Service & Repair lot the first part June '18. We received PHENOMENAL service and had it sold by the middle of July. Chris & Pauline have had this business for 42 years and are excellent folks to work with. They are clean, orderly, organized and just great folks to work with. It was just a great experience all around. I wouldn't hesitate going there for service, parts or to buy or sell an RV. SO THANKFUL for Petersen's RV Service & Repair. Fantastic Job & Great People!!

In Gulf Shores? Have an RV problem? This is the place to call.Had an AC issue (dometic) on our 2015 cyclone 4200. Called around to a few places. One place wanted almost $200 just to come out to look. Another couldn t make it out to us for more than a week. And by luck I found these guys. I called, and he was here (on my site) within 30 minutes (don t hold em to that time frame, I m pretty sure I got lucky).Within 45 minutes the problem was diagnosed, and the part was ordered (over night delivery). Came out the next day to install. Boom. Working AC again.They even worked directly with my extended warranty company to get the claim done. Only out of pocket for me was my $50 warranty deductible.Awesome. Couldn t be happier. Highly recommend.

Called Peterson's about a RV issue and they were there within the hour. Fixed my problem quickly and Nathan also made suggestions that helped another issue. Glad I found then and will only call them for my RV needs.

This should be your first stop for any camper needs. When we sprang a leak while vacationing at Gulf Shores State Park, my husband stopped in to buy parts to repair the leak. The service men kindly took time to explain and demonstrate how to fix the issue. Thanks to their instructions, he was able to easily fix the broken part.

Needed a new fan motor in a.c.. Called several places and they were the only one that returned my call. They did not have it but said they could have one next day. When it they called. They are very customer friendly. Good to see a place that will work with you. Will tell anyone that is the people to call.

Quite honestly, the nicest people ever. I m not a customer, but today I was stranded with a car that overheated. The sweetest lady (I m terrible with names) helped me with stretching out water hoses to top off my radiator. She gave me an extra gallon of water to make sure I made it home. I m not a camping/rv ing peron, but if I were this would be the place I would go. She didn t have to help me, but she stopped her days work to help out a complete stranger. In today s world, this speaks volumes about her character.

If you own an RV and need service, supplies or sales, Petersen is the only way to go in Baldwin County. I have used them at least 5 times in the past 5 years and every time their service is unbeatable. They are honest, knowledgeable and treat you as fairly as if you were part of their family. Petersen's rv is a family run business and I would never go anywhere else. I live in my rv full time and am lucky to have their name and number. It's always good to have a good doctor, auto mechanic and rv specialist (not necessarily in that order!) And you can't go wrong with the Petersens! Thanks for everything! Mark Hopper

They are not taking COVID-19 seriously and did not wear masks. They ignored me when I asked why they were not wearing masks. I am sure they did an acceptable job, but use at your own risk.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Friendly owners and fair prices. They are pretty quick to get an issue fixed in your RV if you cant fix it yourself. Will come to wherever you have your RV to fix it as well.

The Peterson s were very helpful and gracious. Their store carries RV supplies and they can also order items for you. We found everything we needed there. They also have a repair service there and sell pre-owned rv s.

Great place...had a blower motor fail in ac in middle of vacation and they had parts I need in stock...even tested capacitors for me. Good place.

Very small store, but they had the parts we needed for our camper. Beats driving all the way to Camping World in Robertsdale if you are in a pinch.
