I recently visited Coastal Auto Group to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped onto the lot, I was greeted warmly by the staff (Jon and Josh)who were eager to assist me without being pushy. They patiently answered all my questions and provided transparent information about the vehicles I was interested in. What impressed me the most was their honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. There were no hidden fees or surprises, and they worked hard to ensure I got the best deal possible. I left feeling confident in my purchase and grateful for the exceptional service I received. I highly recommend Coastal to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dealership.

Ok so here is the real review. Previously I wrote that this place is a great place to buy a vehicle well, I was wrong!!! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE AT THIS PLACE!!!! They are crooked as a question mark! I bought a 2008 Chevy Impala from these people on November 28, 2023. I noticed after parking it in my carport that it s leaking some kind of fluid so I called up there and they told me to take it to Foley service center which, by the way is a great place to go anyway I took it to them they told me it had six oil leaks in it, one leaking from the oil filter housing one leaking from the timing chain housing and another leaking from the rear main seal and two other spots where it s leaking. I called up to coastal auto and spoke with Mike and he told me he was going to get in touch with John the finance manager, or whatever and he called me back and told me that there was nothing they could do. They couldn t put me in another vehicle and they re not gonna repair the oil leaks so basically now I m screwed. The thing that got me was Mike told me to just drive it with the oil leak and that It s Not that big of a deal. So what I m saying is just do your research before you spend your time and money and waste all your money buying any vehicle from these people because they will not help you at all and 90% of the time the vehicles that they sell has some kind of major problem that s hidden that they know about before they even sell it to you. I would spread it around to not buy a vehicle at coastal auto group because you re gonna end up getting screwed. I spoke with my lawyer and I will be taking these guys to court.

I called because I was looking for help to refinance my truck into my wife s name to get my credit clear and get ready to purchase a home next year. I was told over the phone after running my wife s credit that I would be able to get it in her name at $545.36 a month at 7.75 percent . Awesome !!So we put our baby in the truck and drove 30 minutes out of the way . When we get here no one greeted us nicely . Then when Jon (the guy I spoke to on the phone) came in, we all went into the office to sign papers. He then said that in order to get that deal he has to add $3,400 onto our loan for the 48k mile warranty because it was a promo going on to be able to get that interest rate. I feel like this is something that should be told to someone before they come all this way. Anyway very disappointed.

WOW!!! My wife and I purchased 2 vehicle from Jon and Jason. I spent 33 years in the automotive industry and I can tell you that this is the place in Foley to buy! No outrageous doc fees and simple and understandable finance terms! Great job guys! Chris and Tish

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Michael Porter at Coastal Auto. He was helpful throughout the process and patient while we looked at several financing offers. They didn't try to upsale us or add on crazy fees, and they even stayed after hours to finish the purchase. The whole process was a pleasure and we got the car we were looking for.

Not only am i a returning customer but also a referring customer with verified purchase, and i was so disappointed in the lack of motivation to sale last weekend. I was unfortunately appointed the new salesman in training and throughout our interaction it was a back and forth of little information to none each time. This process started off just as bad as it ended.When first setting an appointment online to see the vehicle I was interested in, I received a txt asking if I wanted to see it before my appointment. I told him i didn't think that was possible and if my appointment time was still ok. He said thats fine. I see you did your app here though. I need your social to see what I can do. No. The last application I filled out was 3 years ago, and I will not txt you my social without even looking at the car.Once I looked and drove the vehicle, i completed the application and was told I would receive a call 20 minutes from then. I did not hear anything for the rest of the day nor anything the next day till about noon when I decided to show up. I was then given some information and presented 1 other option. Although we couldn t get anything done because the other men in the office who apparently know how to do their job left the new guy at the office to babysit. I ended up leaving and told them id be back later. I came back and my salesman yet again had forgotten about me and hurried to retrieve some information. Pretty much told me sorry and that was that. I was not sat down in a proper office to talk options or explain in further detail. Just told in the lobby, it is what it is and i cant be helped unless I had 5,000 down.With all this being said, I know my situation is never an easy one but I would expect to be treated like you want my sale and like you respect me. NONE of my questions were answered the entire time as he told me he d ask and then just acted like he forgot I even existed when I walked out. He never reached out to update me on anything. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Dalton was very friendly and helpful! Updated: 2 months since I purchased my vehicle and I still cannot register because they have not sent all of the required paperwork to my BMV. Very poor customer service after purchase!

My family and I had an amazing experience at Coastal. Jack was very helpful, friendly, polite and patient with us. Josh and Jack went out of their way to work with us, when other companies did not. I got an awesome new vehicle that was very much needed for the success of my family's future. I will always recommend them and hopefully be a customer for years to come.. Best and easiest Experience I've EVER had buying a car period, exclamation point! He worked with me to get it done, no sitting in a little room pressured to sign, and no stupid fees, and closing took 20 minutes! No kidding their cars are quality, the dealership was recommended to me by the best and only mechanic I completely trust! Thank you Jon!

So the last thing I wanted to do after dealing with insurance adjusters for both vehicles and home was go and hassle with a dealer. We were on our way to MS to look at a car I found at a dealer over there. As luck would have it we had stopped and grabbed breakfast at Wendy's in Foley that morning and didn't realize until we got to Daphne that they didn't give our card back. On our way back down we passed Coastal and I saw a couple of cars there that I liked so we decided to go back to them after retrieving our card. Not only did Mike have the patience of a saint with me, but he genuinely wanted to make sure we were as happy if not more with our new car as my old one. I would gladly and confidently recommend anyone looking for a car to see them! Thank you for taking care of us

My son is 19 and just bought his first new car here. RIP old car. They were wonderful with him and I think he got a great deal here. I was very happy to see and hear the entire package put together for him. Would recommend anyone to Coastal Auto Group. My son did not drive away unhappy. Great place to do business

The team there is the best I have found anywhere. No pressure to buy at all, very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to get you financed. My wife and I drove all the way from Pensacola to buy our car and will do the same for the next one we buy. Fantastic group of people!!!

The only reason I don't give this place a one star rating is because they were at least respectful to me and TRIED to help, however.. I was a 'first time buyer' with no credit and had previously called this place three months before I came in and asked about a first time buyers program and was told that they didn't offer it. I called three months later and was told that they did, after I had called every other dealership from Mobile to Pensacola. I had my eyes on this beautiful Mazda, and told the salesman I needed another week or so to get my next check and I would come in with the down payment. I remember asking this guy to hold this car for me because it was my dream car, I was 19 and wanted my first car to be perfect, I had done a LOT of research on sedans and the Mazda was my go-to. He talked and talked to me and made me feel like I was safe, I was being taken care of even though I knew about the ol' every dealership screws you over somehow. I came in a week later with the cash, and when I walked into his office the very first words that came out his mouth were, "Well, I have some good news and I have some bad news." Lay it on me, man. Bad news? He sold the Mazda that week, or that very day. The good news? There was only ONE other car in the entire lot I got 'approved' for.. a Nissan Sentra. I was naive and wasn't paying attention, it was a much flashier car than my dad's broken down 90's rustbucket. When I approached the car, the salesman had opened the door for me and handed me the keys. Thanks? The reason he opened the door for me was so I wouldn't notice the handle itself was pulling off the door. When I got in, he got in as well and began explaining things. The dashboard's screen was scratched to hell to because the previous owner was an imbecile, and I don't even know what a shift lock is because that was busted out as well. The rubber seals on the windows hang out and won't pop back into the doors, and after months of owning the car, I finally noticed something else.. all over the car are coverups with a shade of red that sort of blends into the car but doesn't match. The thing that upsets me the absolute most more than anything is that the Mazda AND the Nissan were BOTH MSP $17,000. I was given a car that had many issues compared to a car I wouldn't stop talking about even while test driving the Nissan. I pay almost a STAGGERING $1,000 A MONTH combined between my insurance and the car payments. I'm not going to mention the salesman because I'm not that low, but I feel very betrayed in the end because everyone I know looks at me like I'm crazy when I say how much I'm paying a month. I can't get rid of the car now either because it's worth less than $7,000 and with all the bills I'm paying at a young age I can't even barely save up any more to get another down payment to get rid of it. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have someone with you that knows what they're doing.

Very dishonest business went to look at a Jeep on 5/9/20 spoke with the salesman that I wanted to purchase it and came back the next day with my fianc� to test drive the Jeep but salesman was not in his office but I discussed with him the same day over the phone I will put down a deposit to hold the Jeep and The salesman assured me that Jeep would be there when I returned. I returned on 5/11/20 to get my vehicle and the salesman told me it had been sold!!! Needless to say I was very angry cause he assured me it would be there and he proceeded to sell me another vehicle at a higher price and not worth the price instead of trying to compensate me for my time and effort!!! But the topping on the cake is as I was pulling out I saw my Jeep on the other side of the lot and turned around to speak with salesman about this and he explained he s holding it for another customer!!!! So he lied by saying he would hold the vehicle, and also by saying he sold the vehicle already and it was still in the lot I felt discriminated against overlooked as a customer and just disrespected!!!

My husband and I were in desperate need of a truck, and Josh made it happen! We didn t have great credit or a lot of money down, but they really worked with us to put us in exactly what we needed. They didn t try to upsell us or put us in something we couldn t afford. I ve never had a better experience purchasing a vehicle. If you want to get a vehicle from a dealer who really cares, go see Josh and tell him William and Michelle Frost sent you!!

Thank you Jack!!! I love my new Acura RDX!!! This is my 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Jack and he is amazing. He stayed late for me to come from Pensacola to look at the Acura but also answered all my questions for two days about the vehicle. John and Josh were just as nice. Josh entertained my son so I was able to take care of all the paperwork. If your looking for great customer service and nice vehicles Coastal Auto Group is the place to go. If I could rate them a 10 differently would. Thank you again guys!!!

Recieved false advertising via a facebook link informing customers they will pay up to $4000 over kbb on my vehicle. After taking time out of my day to drive there I met with a very respectful sales professional named Jack. He didn't waste my time explaining he couldn't offer me a fair value due to a few concerns they had about my car. Unfortunately the advertising they had on facebook did not provide this detail. PLEASE don't waste your time believing the hype they advertise online. Be prepared to be disappointed to discover they may not be able to do what they claim they will do in the advertising. Coastal Auto Group you need to provide a disclaimer when providing details about a sales event you are posting online. Coastal Auto Group my car is dependable as I drive it everywhere. The issues you pointed out have nothing to do with reliability. Surely you don't expect every car you inspect to be perfect or at least if you do then you should place that in your advertisements. Your discalimer should state we expect every car to be perfect with no flaws to be considered for this event. You wasted my time on a false claim.
