I can relate to the other reviews stating the poor service provided by this location. Absolutely the worst car shop in Florence. They tried to hit me for over 5k in total repairs. They did manage to get $1200 out of my son for a tune up. The icing on the cake was when they tried to tell me the catalytic converters were clogged and needed replaced and that a valve cover gasket was why the truck kept dying at idle. I fixed it myself for under $100. It was the timing actuator causing the truck to shut off. I replaced both cam shaft sensors and unplugged the timing actuators. Problem solved! This is from one of the most non-mechanical person around. Watch YouTube videos and save your self the stress, anger and money.The worst part is listening to guy try to explain how they are not trying to rip you off. Brian was a huge help. I m from Chicago buying a used car in Florence and they were able to do a full pre purchase inspection for me and uncovered two things not disclosed by the dealership. BEST $60 I have ever spent

I had a great experience when I went into meinkeee, the front desk was so welcoming and kind. I went in for a pre buy inspection before buying a used car and he took the time out of his day to ensure that I was well aware of safety issues that could appear in the near future. Best $60 I ever spent !these guys are genuine and honest! I will be doing more business with them in the near future !

Took a vehicle that I had just purchased to them for a good check up...I appreciated the pics of every possible issue as well as a full explanation of what needed to be done. I left it with them for the repairs and it was completed in a timely manner and when I picked it up it was like new again . The guys were all very helpful and kind. I highly recommend you utilize their amazing services. UPDATE ! I had another vehicle I brought in and the work was done perfectly! Of I could take this team with me every where life would be so much easier! This is the absolute best place and the best team from the gits on the shop that are smart and quick as well as a dream to talk to ...to the guys inside ...Brian is just amazing, always kind and helpful....as well as is Chris. They are above and beyond the best there is !

I was nicely greeted as I walked in. I was in for an oil change and was provided the services I would be getting beforehand. Once I handed the keys over, I knew I was in good hands. They completed my oil change and found a problem with my brakes which was fixed all in quick timing. I appreciate the great help in a timely manner. 100% will be back if I need anything else.

Excellent, friendly service. Thank you so much for repairing my daughter s car. We appreciate you more than words can express. This was her first car repair since moving out of town to college. She was treated very well and the car repair was fast and cost effective. We couldn t have received better service anywhere. Thank you!

Absolute rip off. They tried to tell me my entire exhaust system had rusted out and needed to be replaced. $4400 was the quote. Took my car to another place for another estimate. Turns out, it only needed two bolts replaced and a little welding. $60. I should ve listened to everyone who said Meineke couldn t be trusted. Will never go back.

Don t come here if you need major repairs done. I had a feeling not to trust this place. On my road trip home to WI from FL my car had no coolant & no heat so I had it towed to Meineke in Florence AL. My vehicle needed a brand new radiator & coolant hose. This was a Saturday. Brian at first said he ordered the parts & he would have them in that Monday & my car would be done Monday night. We were on a very strict budget & schedule as we had to get my 3 month old daughter home because it was the middle of winter. We ended up staying in dingy dirty hotels to wait it out hoping Brian meant what he said. Come that Monday morning Brian said he doesn t know when the parts are arriving & that he has no tracking on them either. Brian said it could be Wednesday now. Mind you these hotels were costing us $260 a night to stay which was not in our budget. Come Wednesday we eventually got a rental car home because we couldn t wait it out any longer as I was a mother with a child in the middle of nowhere and no vehicle. Brian wasn t sticking to his word. When the repairs were eventually finished the grand total was $2600 which was again not in the budget for me as I m a single mother. This whole situation took everything I had to pay for these costly repairs,hotels,rental car,shipping etc. They also charged $300 for storage fees when they FAILED to have it done on time!! I had the car shipped the rest of the way home which was another $625. Fast forward to now I finally took my car out for a drive to test it out. My car overheated & all of my coolant leaked out AGAIN!! Brought it to a local mechanic in WI & turns out Meineke FAILED to ensure my radiator plug was properly secured. In fact the radiator plug was MISSING!! How do you fail to put that in properly or make sure it s fully in?? When that s the most important thing when installing a radiator?? I ended up having to pay $380 for a tow & new plug & coolant refill. I also now have to pay $250 for Freon. I called Meineke yesterday to explain what happened, Brian & Chris refused to reimburse me for any of my troubles when they were absolutely at FAULT for my car overheating & coolant leaking out completely. So all in all between the repairs,lies,hotels,stress AND it still needs more work done because they failed to do their jobs properly it has costed well over $4,000 MIND you again I am a single mother with a very limited budget. They are 100% only about the money and not about the customer. Go somewhere else if you need your costly repairs done correctly. Will never go back to a Meineke again. Below is the proof from my recent mechanic stating what they failed to do properly. Do better Meineke.

Very impressed with the prompt and courteous service I received at Meineke. Their mechanics are very knowledgeable and take the time to show you what is wrong with your car. They give you a printout of the problems with your car, along with detailed information on what that particular part's purpose is on your vehicle and what could happen if the part isn't replaced. They send you a link to a report on your car that includes pictures of the actual part on your car that needs fixed. It is neatly laid out web page that's very simple to use. Meineke will be my car care center from now on.

Fast service on a weekend and customer service was great(thanks Brian). Yes they cost a bit more than your average mechanic but anywhere else would have kept my car for at least a week (extensive damage) and these guys had it in a day. And well you get what you pay for. 2014 Chevy Captiva Sport. They had our Diagnostic knocked out so fast. Brian and Chris both were on the phones with us every step of the way and helped get us covered on our warranty. Seriously, amazing staff, incredible customer service, and all around the best mechanics in the area. 5 Stars all around!

I took my Audi Q5 to be worked on by these fine gentleman and they did an awesome job! Outstanding customer service and great conversations while I waited for the repairs to be done. They were genuine and caring! I want to especially thank Brian and TJ! A truly wholesome and professional repair shop!! If you are in need of any kind of auto services, I definitely recommend! Chris, Jonathan, Brian, and crew did wonderful job save my Ford Fusion 2012. They did an excellent Inspection of my car found all the problem even took time explain everything and show video of problem. To be honest, I did not know my car was in bad shape. The alternator went bad, transmission motor mount went out gasket leak, drive belt, pulley, all coil s, all spark plugs, strut front, serpentine belt tensioner and tuneup.All that had to be replace They did hell of a good job fix it and get me back on road. They even have finance to help paid for car repair. My ford is like new again no more lord noise or shake motor. Thank u again guys Service: Electrical repair

Mgr. Brian and tech TJ, were outstanding, in terms of thoroughness, concern and describing progress. On a tight schedule with a hard-to-diagnose issue, they dealt with my vehicle in an honest and thoughtful manner. Unfortunately, the issue repeated, after leaving their shop. I'm confident they will solve it quickly and fairly, when I return.

The place where I got my tires told me I needed rear brake rotors and brake pads. They didn t show me, they just told me and gave me an estimate and I didn t like that so I called Meineke. Manager Chris was friendly and extremely helpful, telling me I could bring my car in for a brake inspection right then. Their inspection (which, by the way, was free) determined that I needed brake pads and rotors all the way around. They didn t just tell me this, they showed me exactly what was going on. I made an appointment for the next day. They started on my car when they said they would and it was done when they said it would be done. The cost was even a bit less than what I was expecting. Thanks, everyone!

I would like to say these are the most down bad people you can go to, and I say this because BRIAN did not fix a car of a friend of mine that has had their car here for weeks. They left a bad review and he threatened to not only fight him but shoot him. When I called he acted as if he couldn t get a corporate number and got defensive if this doesn t explain how the employees are there idk what else to tell you. Worst service around here in my opinion. Now, to Brian. You re an employee who deals with customers you are no different from anyone else or any better than anyone else. Treat their cars how you d want your OWN to be treated. There was no need for you to have a racist remark nor threaten to shoot and fight him. Honestly I hope you get fired. Karmas gonna get you is all I gotta say just imagine if this happened to you

Despite having the clutch fixed before I came to have the brakes fixed I still had little confidence in driving my truck. I heard of positive changes here and found a capable manager named Luke Stanfield running the show now. Emily is a joy to work with getting your quotes and scheduling done. She is a very positive influence on a place most hate to have to visit. No one likes a broken down vehicle and the price shock of a proper fix can keep them away. Emily is able to explain why the maintenance is needed and if she is unsure she will find out why.The waiting office is small so bring an extra cup for the coffee machine so you can converse with the ones who are waiting.The management here will do ask you wish to get buy but they will tell you what needs to be done for a proper repair.Coke machine was spitting out minute maid in the water slot which was a welcome surprise.I trust Luke, and Emily.
