I have used Bacon Alignment for several years now and have always been well taken care of! The staff is friendly, professional, and they do exactly what they say they will do at the price that is quoted. My truck recently quite blowing cold air and was making a rattling sound. They diagnosed the issue, quoted parts and labor, and had me back on the road the next morning with everything working perfect!

DO NOT GO HEREI had a loose wire under my car. I asked them to pin it back up which took about 10 minutes start to finish. They charged me $150 for labor . When i told them that was outrageous, they got confrontational and told me i was lucky i didnt get charged another $150 additionally for diagnostics . LMFAO! I will never be back and i will make sure to tell everyone i know how horrible they are!

Bacon Alignment was recommended to me. Super friendly staff. Work was great. No surprises; they did what they said they'd do at the price they quoted. When you see them they truly care that their customers are putting a safe car back on the road, which was very important to me. I recommend them to anyone.[Edit] I have continued to take my vehicles to them with great results.[Note] They're not just an alignment shop. Other than paint, body, or stereo work they can do basically anything you need from brakes to a full engine rebuild.

Please do not ever take your car to that place if you want it back . I took my car for them to fix a leak. They change the head gasket which that s fine but when they gave it back to me all these lights started coming on my time will not change. It s running worse. They have completely played games with my money and my car and they don t care, God don t like ugly. I can t wait till that day comes when they can no longer take hard-working people money without giving a Care if they do the job right.. I can t wait till they be treated the same way. Karma is a . I usually don t write reviews but I m going to make sure everybody knows about this. I ve never in my life seen nothing like this happen.600 I pay for me to pay someone else 800 more to fix.. They are completely TRASH 0 stars

This is my 2nd time taking my 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport here for service. This says a lot, the technicians are great. The front staff is great and provide excellent service. I wasn t treated this way at the VW dealership on Florence Blvd when I would take my vehicle in for service. This place is very welcoming and very friendly and knowledgeable and that s all that matters to me! I ll be back when my vehicle needs to be serviced again! Kudos are deserved because they understood the assignment and is very friendly!

Took car in because of tail lights not turning on. They had me change the light control module and have it reprogrammed at long Lewis. $1k later and the tail lights still weren't turning on. Ended up being a short circuiting wire. They "graciously" fixed it for free but refused to refund anything regarding the replaced part or the reprogramming fee from the dealer.Never going back there.

A month ago I took my ford ranger there. I told them I wanted new headers and a gasket. After two weeks of waiting for the machinist to give an estimate they gave me the price and we paid it. Upon picking up my truck none of my gauges worked, all my lights were on on my dash, and my air wouldn t work. So we took it back and they fixed it but that same day my truck wouldn t shift right or accelerate right. It was idling high and trying to lurch forward at lights. I took it back to bacon and after another week I am having to pay for a new catalytic converter and I still don t have my truck. Not to mention the owner is on vacation and refuses to talk to me until he gets back. Honestly this is just horrible horrible business to me. The only communication I ve had has been from the secretary who is lovely and a mechanic named Richard who seems like a good guy. I would have to say don t take anything here that you care about and definitely don t expect to be treated fairly or with respect. At the end of the day I just want my truck fixed but I m sure they will see this and find sone new way to charge me or make my life even more difficult than it has been.

The guy at the front desk was so very kind and helpful. I was in town to visit family and was heading back to Atlanta the day I realized my tire was nearly flat. I brought it in with no problem (no one else I called would even look at my car that same day) and the guys looked at it told me I had 2 leaks. They plugged one but couldn't do the other because it was on the edge of the tire near the rim. The man at the front, I guess he's the manager or owner, told me the situation and said he would be able to replace the tire (and for a very fair and low price might I add) but they would have to order it because of the special size. He said I was welcome to check around, but no one would have it in stock more than likely. Since I had to travel back that afternoon, he explained that the other leak was small, but he couldn't guarantee that the tire would hold with that one plug alone. Since he felt that it was a small chance of the tire blowing he did the plug for free. He explained to me what to listen and look out for in the case that the tire started to go out on the road. I really valued his honesty, integrity, and his helpfulness and concern for me. I will definitely go here again if I ever need any tire work done while I'm in town. Oh, and the tire held just fine by the way!

Bacon Alignment came through like a boss. Very helpful and the staff is super friendly and fantastic. My starter went out and I was in jam. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone. More than 5 stars in my book.

Since the new owner has taken over the price has almost doubled on repairs in the last 6 months. What was $80 when James owned it is now $150 for same job just 5 months later. Unfortunately the high cost of repairs will drive away the customers that loved going there. The mechanics are great but the doubling of the cost just doesn't cut it for my family.

Bacon does good work. They can be a bit difficult to get in touch with on occasion, and often seem to forget to call when work has been completed. They do a good job though and the prices are reasonable. This is the only tire shop in Florence that I trust to do rotations and whatnot. They don't seem to torque the lugs down to 500ft lb so you can't get them off without an impact like many shops do.

Very disappointed!!! My truck just came from the shop with new upper and lower ball joints, so I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and get a front-end alignment. I decided to take my truck to Bacon alignment. They called me back and said my truck needed front wheel bearings and seals which would be $100's worth of repairs, and not including the front end alignment. I decided just to come oick my truck back up withiut the wheel bearings and seals. After I came to get my truck, they charged me $45 for them to simply jack the truck up and look underneath, which they did not tell me upon arrival. It would only have cost $60-$75 for the alignment, but i never got it AND still had to pay $45. Ever since this buisness changed owners from the Bacons service has gone downhill. The only reason I am giving a 1 star review is because i cant leave negative stars.

I can't overstate how much I appreciate this shop. Long Lewis Ford gave me an estimate for over $4,000.00 for a new transmission (E350 drivetrain). I came to Bacon for a second opinion because the owner is a transmission expert. Turns out the transmission is fine. I paid $35.00 for the assessment. Previously, I had Bacon do a transmission service at 195,000 miles on my Ford F-150. They fixed a glitch that Ford dealers could never get a handle on - when I accelerated hard between 30-40 mph, it would miss. No longer!

The new owner (Joey) took in two of my vehicles, one for motor exchange (jeep wrangler) the other (hummer) for balance and alignment. Both lifted and difficult to work on according to other shops. These guys had me a two day turn around on the motor and a half day on the alignment and balance.

Went in for new shocks and coils, they installed them well, but when I started driving, my vehicle constantly pulled to the left. If I didn't hold the steering wheel tight it would have flipped at high speeds. So I called them and they swore they had done an alignment. I asked if they'd check again to make sure it was done right and they begrudgingly said yes. Took it back in, they said everything looked great. I drove it off the lot and there was still a severe pull to the left. They blamed my tires and said it's because they had a bad wear pattern. (My tires were only a few months old).So I took it to another place on the other side of the river. They did an alignment and told me that whoever had done my previous alignment lied to me. They showed me on a print out how the camber was over an inch out of line and how the toe of one wheel was turned too far in. I drove off the lot and my vehicle drove as straight as an arrow.Bacon Alignment lied to me twice and charged me for something they didn't do. Avoid.

Took my car for transmission swap. 2 day job. That took two weeks. Transmission light still on when I picked car up. Mechanic work was not professional. Missing bail housing bolts and nuts on mounts. Sensors left unplugged. Fluid everywhere on transmission. Fluid level to high

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE if you value your time.I pull up at 10am for a simple alignment to only be told a hour and 45 minutes later can i come back at 1pm.. What a big waste of time, i will never return, im sure there are more local establishment that wont tell you sorry 8x and come back. I am absolutely upset for just setting there without getting actual work done..

Use to be a great place to go that you could trust, but since it has new owners I wouldn't recommend this place anymore . For alignments anyway other than that I havent delt with them. I'll just say if you want an alignment done and done right then go to fredericksons half the price and double the quality of work. Win win.....

Traveling from NC to Mussel Shoals Alabama, and hit a large broken pavement hole. Randomly called Bacon. They were very accommodating. Lavender was very polite and kept me updated on the progress for my alignment. Car drives true. Use this shop!

I went for an alignment, and my steering wheel ended up crooked. When I drive and make the steering wheel straight I go off road. They told me to go in again and they would "fix" it but my steering wheel is still crooked. Other than that its good.

Its ok. Affordable prices. Sevice is quicker than others alike. Just didn't like how they cannot fix our wheel alignment after 2 tries.

They do not know how to fix a temperature gauge sensor in a montero limited but on the flip side of that coin the outside of building doesn't say Bacon's we can fix anything either so, I'm just hopeful they are better at alignments.

Would not recommend this place. There are much better mechanics out there. My car went in for rack and pinion, it came out needing an alignment. Why?
