Traveling through we were able to make a single night reservation at Lake Eufaula. They were very accommodating and had a pull through spot for us for the night. We arrived more towards the evening so we were not able to see much but I can say that at night it get so quiet and peaceful.Showers were clean and decent but yes they need a little updating. The water pressure was great and you can tell they have soft water which was so nice! The town not too far was so adorable. We would stay here again.

There was sewage running over my jacks and plastic jack plates. I asked if I could stay an extra day to let it dry out and they said no it would be extra. I'll never stay in this campground again. The lady at the office is insufferable and smug she wouldn't talk to the guy who owns it. I ended up having to buy a foam cannon to sanitize my jacks and my whole camper please do not stay here if you don't want human feces plastered on you're camper they won't care they won't help. I'll pay them their 30 dollars on Monday to make sure this make shift campground doesn't affect my credit.Noteworthy details: Worst campground I ever stayed in and I stay in campgrounds all over Alabama for work.

The camping sites are very small. If you have more than one tent, your space will be very cramped. The pool was very unclean, no guests could use it due to all of the debris. The lake itself was not pretty or clear. The photos were very misleading. It s also right next to a neighborhood and a trailer park. There a lot of full timers . Me and my family felt like we were in someone s back yard rather than an actual campsite. The bathrooms were okay. Also, the charging spots only allow you to plug in two devices at a time. Also, if you want to get to the bathrooms, you re going to have to walk a good bit if you re farther back in the campsite. If you re looking for somewhere to stay for a couple nights, you should probably just get a hotel. Overall mid.

Nice campground. Not paved, but the sites are level and there are plenty of pine needles to keep it clean. Both Rick and Karen were very accommodating. Rick even gave me a washer off of HIS hose, so we wouldn't leak.We stayed 3 nights, in a 40ft Class A and enjoyed it. Quiet, peaceful and well kept. The bathhouse is clean, they also have laundry on site. Can't speak to the pool in November, but you are right next to a nice walking trail that will take you into town.

Came as a family camping trip. Wonderful experience. Owners were super friendly and helped us with our campfire. Restrooms were always cleaned and nice. Pool was very clean and nice as well. No luck fishing in the ponds or lake but it was also Memorial Day weekend so a lot were out fishing and possibly over fished. However experience was great. Close tent camping spots but everyone camping was super nice. Will be back again!

We love love this RV park. Shady, quiet, private, peaceful and found the perfect site for the next two weeks. Certainly much better than the KOA in Forsyth, GA. Internet and cable are a plus, and they work! Pool is big and clean, even in mid-September. It feels safe here, police swing by routinely!Safety: Police presence as they round the community routinely! We have encountered only pleasant friendly people!

We needed a place to rest for the night as we were traveling back to Florida from North Carolina. We found this place and it did the job for us as it was right off the main highway. They had full hook ups, a pool, and a gathering area. The lady on the phone was super nice and helpful. Sites could use a little work as far as leveling but other than that it was good!

Nice place. Was peaceful. Pool was clean, bath houses were clean. Owner greeted us as we arrived and escorted us to our lot. They made rounds every morning and checked on guest. All other guests were polite and friendly. Only complaints I have is that the waterfront needs to be more well maintained. We didn't need to use the boat ramp but if we did I would have been almost impossible to use. Also there needs to be more shade at the dog park. But overall it was it was a nice and enjoyable place to stay. We will definitely stay there when we're back in the area.

After a long drive, we arrived at Florence Marina State Park to find out that the gate closed at 10 pm. It was 11:30 pm, tired and shaking after a close encounter with a Buck running right in front of our truck, we desperately needed a place to rest. After a short search, I found this campground that is open 24 hours. I made a phone call, and it got answered (thank God). The gentleman on the other side was friendly and understanding. He told me to just drive in and pull in at any empty site. This campground has full hookups. The next morning, I called the office to let them know that I needed a couple of extra hours to check out. We were able to check out 2 hours after the check out time without extra charge. It's definitely a place to come back and recommend to anyone.

Most of the camper's live here, which made it a different sort of campground. It's very quiet but a little trashy with older campers living on most of the sites. It is also not well maintained. The bathrooms are not very clean, and the sites are littered with trash from campers before. We are avid campers, and this was definitely not a traditional vacation camping spot.Playground: Pretty run downRestrooms: DirtyDog-friendliness: Fine, no poo bags or enforced rules

We were in town for a national fishing tournament, and we thought it would be fun to go camping instead of getting a hotel room, so we booked a site. The staff was very nice, the campground was clean, we had water and electric at our site, and most importantly - their bathrooms were great!! Most campgrounds have bathrooms that are dark, dirty, and full of creepy crawlies - but theirs was nice and bright, and they even had good toilet paper (instead of the horrible 1-ply most places use). Our tournament was Saturday and Sunday, so we requested a later checkout to pack up after fishing ended, and they were happy to accommodate at no extra charge!Definitely a great little spot to get away for the weekend!

Heat and summer rains kept us from really exploring. Rails to trais... hiking/bike trail runs parallel to the campgroundsWas a pleasure to walk the dog. Managers are great. Really could use an infusion of visitors.Easy on and out off 82.fill with diesel before Cuthbert or west at Spookys in Midway..Depending on your needs. Used generator and house air our entire 7 day trip in AUGUST HEAT ALERTS

We had an awesome stay. Everything worked perfectly. Only have 2 recommendations. Clean the public bathrooms more often and improve a little more the lots with gravel. Other than this it was an awesome experience and time.Restrooms: Restrooms are very nice. One of the best I have seen in a while. Only recommendation isq more cleaning trips during the week. Especially the male ground urinal.

Tent camping sites are pretty disappointing. Crowded back on a small bit of land surrounded by mud. We could not even reach water to fish anywhere with weeds. May be better if water was up, but extremely disappointed with the site and condition. We had a reservation but didn't even stay. After looking around we went to another camp site.

We pulled in and they came out to greet us before my husband could open his door to go in. Then escorted us to our spot. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean for a campground. The pool is kept very clean being it's under trees that shed leaves and pine straw. They had picnic tables and fire pit spots set up for at least most of the RV spots and plenty of tables and old car rims to use for fires in the designated tent areas. If I was to have any complaints, it would be some type of shade in the fenced dog park area and clean the water access. But it is a work in progress and will go back again.Playground: They have a few swings and a tether ball.Restrooms: Women's was very clean for this type place. No experience with Men's.Dog-friendliness: Had a fenced area so they could run around off lead. Provided scoop, take, and bags with a trashcan for any poop cleanup. Had a picnic table so parents could sit while watching pups play. Just needs some type of shade.Picnic area: Plenty of picnic tables and fire pits throughout the RV and tent areas

The restrooms are clean and convenient. They are open 24h a day, friendly staff. I LOVED that they have showers with warm water. The only problem was that we rented a spot in front of the lake and people would come and fish there while we were there and had it rented. Also the girls camping next to us where blasting music from a truck that was on all night and no one said anything. Don't camp there if you are afraid of gators cause we had some outside of our tent. We didn't mess with them they didn't mess with us

Love love love Lake Eufaula Campground and their beyond stellar Ms. Karen and Joey who care for their guests as if they were truly family. I came in for work with my fianc and we have had nothing less than excellent care and kindness from the owners. Thanks guys keep up the wonderful work!!!!!!***Update: I had written this review some time ago and wanted to offer an update after renting a home from them for the past 18 months I have to say this is THE BEST place to rent a cabin or if something a bit more long term should be needed consider the Lake Eufaula Campground before any other place. I ve been renting their Brown House which is fairly large and fully furnished along with cable and everything you need to live out the day to day.Picture a farmhouse style double wide 3br/2bath with central AC washer/dryer fully furnished bedrooms with two twin beds in the spare bedrooms and a queen size bed in the master along with a gorgeous bathroom and walk in closet in the master bedroom. It also boasts a full kitchen with everything you need to cook/bake and brand new dining room set. It has a microwave and dishwasher fridge and spacious center island for food prep and all the pots and kitchen effects you could possible need.It has 3 different entrances along with a front side and back porch. The Back porch is my favorite as it faces a lake and it s the most peaceful space in the entire place.I love the fact that any time I need anything checked the Joey and the staff are on top of everything and they are extremely personable, welcoming and kind.My family and I can t say enough great things about our time here and tell ANYONE AND EVERYONE who will listen how much we love living at the Lake Eufaula Campground. All of that and I forgot to mention the pool is sparkling and so refreshing. Check them out they absolutely earned our business for a long time to come.

It's a great laid back campground. Nice camping spot for our tent. Power and water and best of all we could drive right up to the site. I didn't see any ants around the site which was nice. The bathrooms were clean. There is a nice flat paved bike trail that goes about 2 miles into downtown.

Great place. Quiet, large sites, great people. Unusual to find small campground with the older rest room/shower facilities so clean. Owners obviously keep it in the kind of condition they would want in their own home. Older, but spotlessly clean facilities. Plenty of walking trails - a great quiet stop. Only negative was leaf blower starting up about 40 feet from our rig at 8:00 in the morning. Definitely recommended.

This Campground was a disappointment. The pool was nasty. The pond was gross & scary. Dogs were unleashed. Many full-timers that made the place feel unkempt & unfriendly. Pool was filled with unsupervised small kids, and the parents that were there were drinking & smoking. Not family friendly at all. Sand fleas were everywhere & we couldn't enjoy the outdoors.

We had a great time. Cabin was nice no bathroom but bath house right across from the cabin. Very nice and clean. Shower stalls nice and clean. Great place to stay. Fire pits everywhere there is a camper. Great place. Owners are very nice. Can't say enough good things about it. Will come back again this summer.

Overall a nice campground. Great Staff, have always been accommodating. Pool has always been clean despite all the trees. Looks like Chewalla creek has some invasive vegetation growing pretty thick, makes it difficult to access with a boat or kayak. Camper spots can be sandy and crowded for 30 Amp. Parking can be sometimes difficult of you have a larger truck. Washers and Dryers seem to all work nicely.Campground seems to have a lot to offer for good rates, would recommend for work or recreation.
