So well stocked. Unique stuff never expected for electrical and plumbing needs. Excellent help, even orders available if they don't have an item. Good selection of lawn equipment, ncluding Cub Cadet. They also have a great service department.

The only reason I am giving a 2 is because two of the 4 people I talked to in the process of dropping off and picking up the generator I requested to be serviced, two were polite and willing to help. A guy named Mark is the reason for the low rating.I dropped off a generator I already knew had issues with the governor. This business kept the generator for 10 total days and in that (Mark) apparently changed the fuel filter (6 dollars 18 cents) changed the spark plugs (7 dollars 98 cents) and cleaned the carburetor (no price on receipt). Labor somehow was 216 dollars to do the three things mentioned above.Sure, charge what you want because you're a small engine repair shop. But the fact I was charged 243 dollars and 57 cents to do something that probably took 30 minutes to do is amazing and not in a good way. All I can say is don't take your business here. I can't speak for their sales of new equipment. And only two people I met here actually represent their business in a positive manner. I hate I don't know their names. The total price I was quoted to have the governor serviced/ replaced was almost 556.00 dollars. More than the generator is worth, y'all need to lower your labor costs. Or if you're going to charge people 243 dollars, call them back after the 30 minutes it took you to fix just those things so they can come get their equipment back.I think it goes without saying, I'll personally never give this place another dollar again. Do what you want, but be aware of their astronomical labor costs for less than 20 dollars worth of parts replaced.

I have been using this company for almost 15 years and never need disappointed. The repair service is honest ethical and has made many repairs for me over the years and never tried to perform anything unnecessary amd the service has been guaranteed and prompt. I highly recommend these people

Only place nearby with the correct blades for my cub cadet LT1050 with round shaft spindles. I live 45 minutes away and they worked with me so I could pick them up after hours. They were very helpful and easy to work with. I will definitely do business with them again.

I want to thank Cordell in the service department for outstanding customer service. I brought in my echo weed eater after trying to fix it myself. Replaced the carbarter and spark plug and still had the same problem, brought it here to drop off for repairs but Cordell asked me if I had replaced the muffler filter. He showed me where it was and how to access it.. took it back outside to my truck and took the muffler filter and now it works great.. thank you Cordell and Elberta hardware.. I will recommend you to all my friends..

They need to get better staff they have Young kids and a lady that work in there that really had no idea what they were doing. They could not offer assistance on what I was looking for. I am from out of town and was doing a small plumbing job for my mother's neighbor because she is elderly and they just didn't have the knowledge of their store or items that pertained to the job

I rented a pressure washer from Elberta Hardware yesterday. I was told by one of their mechanics last Friday that they would have the equipment tested and ready for pickup on Tuesday morning (Memorial Day weekend). When I showed up, it was not tested and ready but I told the worker it was not a problem and I would wait. The mechanic tested it and he showed me that the gun was constantly leaking but the engine was fine and operated. I had a job to do and I told him no problem with the gun leaking, no problem at all. The woman inside told me to call the next morning and let them know if I needed it a 2nd day. I called before the 24 hours was up and let them know I would like to keep it a 2nd day. She said no problem. The machine worked as needed the 1st day. My son and I used it for 10 minutes on the 2nd day, after my call, and a hose connector started leaking so bad, it would not connect to the surface cleaner or gun. I called Elberta Hardware to let them know what was happening. I do not like returning equipment and not communicating issues. The woman said she would let the others know and I could bring it back later that day or the next morning. No problem. I received a call from the owner calling me a liar and stating that what I was saying "was the oldest trick in the book" to get out of paying for rental equipment. How come he assumed a customer was dishonest without hearing from the customer about the issue first? The owner started yelling on the phone, "bring my equipment back!". I believe I heard this 5 or 6 times during the call. As an honest, hard working man, I really don't appreciate being called a liar and I believe it is totally disrespectful to treat a customer like this. I have enjoyed the help I have received from this business in the past but will never do business again after the way I have been treated.

Not the most transparent on fees for servicing small engines. Was told $16.50 for diagnostics. $37.50 charged to my card and then advised 'unrepairable'. When I went to pick it up, charged again ($16.50). So, was charged $54 total. Can't recommend based on this interaction.

These people are so friendly and helpful, definitely glad we stopped!Update:. Sales were great, after care, not so much. Had a question regarding the mulching attachment and had to go to Cub Cadet for answer and fix. Was supposed to receive end of season maintenance. Called twice and still haven't heard anything. Guess once they make a sale they don't care about the customer.

Contacted Rob about purchasing a standby generator. He assured me that this is one of there specialties, they did not disappoint! The generator guru Bill came out to my home and said that he would handle everything! He did. From the location to the installation and all details in between. Even with the low inventory nationwide they had it installed in a timely manner! Thanks to Elberta Hardware and its crew!

Rob and Bill were extremely knowledgeable and helpful to get 3 Briggs and Stratton stand by generators installed for family over the past 12 years. No problems with the generators and their yearly maintenance program is reasonable and reliable.

One of those hard to find small stores that seem to have EVERYTHING. Staff rocks the service, and they'll be my go to when in need.

One of the beat places to buy a mower. Bought one of those zero turn riding cub cadet. Words are easy to describe how reliable and durable this mower is. They delieved it to my yard, started it up and got to cutting. My yard has improved 10 fold thanks to the mower. I bought from Elberta Hardware. This a gem. If there ever was one for a hardware store.

Very polite and honest people. I took my lawn mower in to be serviced. They were upfront about the charges and their service process. They offer traditional hardware items as well as lawn mowers, weed trimmers, utility tractors, generators and much more. I highly recommend Elberta Hardware.

I came all the way here from Navarre, FL to get my Cub Cadet. The people here are great. I went down to the Roadkill Cafe for lunch while they prepped it. Great time!

Well, I upgraded to a new TYM with front end loader/backhoe attachments; and traded the previous Yanmar for one with a cab, air conditioning, and a radio. All from Elberta Hardware. My health is not good and I need the enclosed cab. It was delivered two weeks ago and some things need fixing, i.e., a hazard sign, 2 holes drilled for 2 backhoe pins, and something else. The weather has not helped, plus I have 22 things to do, but I am looking forward to getting on this new tractor and digging a trench for electrical power line to the pump put in nearly 2 years ago. I hope that the pump has not rusted and become inoperable.
