If I could leave a negative value for my review I would.I bought a 2024 Flatbed in late Nov and 1st week of Dec 2023 the brakes did not engage properly while getting off the interstate at an off ramp. Instead of having a collision with another driver I took the ditch. Over $30K worth in damages to my tractor and haven t even started looking at the damages to the trailer. Don t trust the trailer, won t pull it. I now have a paperweight with Dorsey on it that cost me over $45KI have proof from a 3rd party the brakes were not working properly. Dorsey said they would take care of me but that never happened. They brought in their insurance company and they put it all back on me as the driver. The insurance company s report we just received is completely inaccurate. If you have ANY one at Dorsey telling you they will take care of you, don t believe them. They sell them, but they are not willing to stand behind them.Spend the money and buy a real trailer elsewhereWorst decision of my entire life to buy a Dorsey trailer.I no longer have a trucking company because of this.In my professional opinion, if you are smart, do not buy a Dorsey trailer. And most import of all Dorsey needs to take my picture off their Facebook page! The number given by your comment is just the main number and you have to pick a Dept. WHICH dept/ extension am I supposed to select to talk with someone about this?3/5/2024- So now that this posting is over a month old- you guys still can't do what you say you are going to do- my picture is still on your Facebook page! Do I need to have my lawyer contact Dorsey to have this removed? You have put me out of business because of your failed trailer brakes and you can't even respond to this posting.

I don't have an experience with the place, but I do have an experience I would like to share regarding one of the drivers. On my way to Birmingham on the 16th of January, in the a.m., there were a lot of accidents on the road, traffic had come to a complete stop for some time. Once it got going, one of your drivers tailgated me at a speed that made me very uncomfortable. I know the driver was most likely late for something, as we ALL were, but there was no need to put me and even others in danger in an already dangerous situation, because it was snowing, and so many accidents were happening. All I could think of is what if that rig banged into my rear because he couldn't stop fast enough, or had to stop so fast he would swerve all over the place. Maybe he is a professional driver, but that does not mean he have the right to drive carelessly in such a huge machine on an icy road. Very annoyed.....Sidney.

On Saturday, 6/24/23, I was in the left-hand lane under a bridge underpass in Philadelphia, PA, and I was stopped. The next thing I knew, I was clipped by a tractor trailer. The driver of that trailer took off, after hitting me. I got close enough to take a picture of his license plate, although it's not real clear. The trailer had a PA license plate of PT-475L7. The first 7 isn't easy to read, and that could also be a 1. I tried getting him to pull over, but he continued to drive away, and he was going at speeds over 80 mph. I assume that Dorsey Trailers just sell their items to anybody who claims they can drive that big a vehicle. I'm out $500 for my deductible, and I'm feeling victimized, as it wasn't my fault.

Ordered a new lowpro stepdeck and had a lot of problems with it, but I stopped at the plant and talked to them in person and everything will be taken care of and done right. These guys are so great to deal with, they listen to want you want and then build it!!!! I'm so glad I stopped at the plant, I'm very excited to get my new trailer!!!!! Dealing with them directly is great!!!!

Seemed like a great place for the whole family. The staff was exceedingly prompt and courteous, the pizza hot and fresh, and the beer cold and cheap. I will absolutely be a return customer.

Don't have any details to review, I do like the looks of the trailer, but have a couple questions. I'm looking to buy a new step deck trailer and considering a Dorsey. I've heard a couple people say that Dorsey flat bed droop in the middle. Was wondering if that's true and have y'all have had many complaints about that issue. Also wondering about empty weight on a combo verses an all aluminum step deck trailer...... Thanks

Good trailer but in less that 1 year we went through too many valves and tires. The double coin tires are terrible. You guys have to go a different brand. I swapped 6 tires in 9 months. Also when you do steel and aluminum rims you have to have the valve stems right. You can't get to the stem on the inside

Nestled in the heart of Elba, Alabama, Dorsey Trailer is a big part of keeping America moving. Making trailers to pull behind any big rig , like flatbeds, box, refrigerated, utility, and chicken trailers. It's an impressive sight to watch bundles of steel be carried into the yard, and then see finished trailers rolling, shining and new rolling out to meet their owners and operators. The folk here are all hardworking, ready to smile, and eager to get the next one hauling across the country.

Very poor employer. Does not take care of employees. Hires a tremendous amount of drug addicts. Pay is not worth all the stress that comes with the job. Management is very shady.
