I'm giving them the highest praise I can: They know what they're doing, and they won't rip you off. An excellent, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable shop. The only issue you may have is getting in to be worked on, so call ahead

I am surprised that the ratings are so high here. If everyone experienced the treatment and or lack there of that I did they would not be in business . I was scammed out of 5400 dollars and lost close to 2000 in insurance for the truck sitting when I left there. I found out a dot inspection was what I believe to be cooked or falsified as the normal wear and tear items found less than 50 miles away by another shop could not have worn out that quickly. I was lied to by supervisory staff over 15 times as well as other individuals within the business. I told the owner Mr. Stan that I wanted to keep doing business but wanted everything made right. He talked to me once and attempted to tell me how to troubleshoot items that his business was paid over 100 an hour to fix which I felt was not my job. After that day he ignored my calls and attempts to reach out. When I attempted to meet with him on one occasion he abruptly left and today when he saw me he looked at me turned around went in his office slammed the door , then shortly exited the building as if I were in the wrong for being there trying to get things straightened out. I also received several dirty looks from someone else who may have been the owners wife. I felt like I was judged by the way I was dressed and by my perceived socioeconomic status. I wanted to keep doing business but wanted things to be made right with an apology and explanation of why I was victimized by these predatory business practices. They did attempt some scale of reimbursement but I still took a big hit and there are many unanswered questions.

Not only the customer service, but the all around positive vibe you experience here at Western Star of Dothan is top notch! They have great mechanics and are great honest people to do business with! Stan and Christy run a great outfit! I would recommend anyone in need of any trucking needs come visit them!

Called Thursday morning @ 7:02am from MS and scheduled a 10am appointment for Friday. Drove 5 1/2hrs Friday morning just to find out they never put me in their appointment book. NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.

If you want your truck repairs done right. This is the place to go. They are Profesional helpful and knowledgable. Stan will go out his way to help. Any Detroit work I'll go out of my way to bring it here. Nice people to deal with.
