So I got hit by a driver...prayed it wasn't totaled...prayers answered...now which body shop to pick...was referred to Mike Smith Automotive...here is my review:Great Body Shop, Great Staff! And let the pics speak for themselves...the work...Outstanding! Enough Said!

Do NOT take your car there for hail damage expecting anything other the removal of dents. They charged my insurance $9,000 to knock out a few dents, that I could have done myself. I was expecting a new paint job at least for that quote but NO the only thing I got was the dents removed. The charges exceeded the value of the car. I am not satisfied AT ALL with what they done according the price they charged.

I am leaving this review in order to prevent someone else from having a terrible customer service and repair experience. My husband and I dropped off our car for repairs to the driver's side rear bumper. When we picked up the car, the right rear blinker and brake light were not working, and a "car door open" light stayed on inside the car. I knew the brake and blinker lights were working before we dropped off the car because I followed my husband to Mike Smith's. We immediately took the car back and pointed this out to the manager. We were told that Mike Smith's was not responsible for the blinker and brake light not working even though they replaced the rear bumper. We told him it was working when we dropped it off and he said the bulbs must have blown and that they were not responsible for "everything wrong with the car." Regarding the door open light, he said the left door was missing three bolts so they put bolts in that were not specific to the car, so that is why the light was staying on. (We didn't ask him to check the door, nor was the door part of claim.) The fact that our car had more problems after being at Mike Smith's Automotive Collision Center than when we dropped it off is ridiculous. But what is more disheartening was the manager's attitude. He was condescending, rude, and overbearing - definitely not helpful or concerned. We have reported the situation to our insurance agency and they were referring us to another collision center to fix the "repairs" done by Mike Smith's Automotive Collision Center. In the meantime, I called a dealership to ask about the brake and blinker issue. They told me it was odd that the lights went out all at once and said it sounded like something wasn't hooked up correctly. Because of this information, I decided to look for myself. I'm no mechanic, but I was able to push away the felt backing and see that three wires were hanging loose from their connections. I compared the other side and hooked them up. It worked! I went back to Mike Smith's Collision Center and showed the manager and he again denied touching any of the rear lights when they repaired the rear bumper. Even if for some reason, the light wires happened to disconnect themselves, I would think that an auto repair professional would think to offer the super easy check the connections insight. I hope this review will prevent others from having a terrible experience.Service: Body & Trim

This is my fourth time using this body shop, first time it was my fault!! They always do great work. Front staff is very friendly yet professional and the techs know their job. I hope I never have to use them again but I definitely will. My only complaint is that someone moved my seat. I know, stupid, but it seems to take forever for me to get it right.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My husband is VERY happy with how they fixed the whole side of his truck where a deer hit it. I think it looks better than it did new. Overall, they did a good job. They listened to my concerns, offered resolutions, and quickly corrected any issues. They were also far faster than other shops from what I've heard lately. They were able to get hard to find parts quickly, and keep me updated on the progress.Not perfect, but I was happy with the results.

Had some minor paint damage on a new vehicle, and they were very helpful. Office staff was very friendly, and mechanics were extremely thorough about examining my entire vehicle, and answering any questions I had. Trustworthy service, reasonable price, and perfect paint job. Like new!

I had a repair and paint job done on the front of my car after a deer hit me. At first everything was fine. A week after the paint job was done bubbles started appearing on the hood. I took it back and they said it was normal and they would go away with time about 3 weeks. So I waited 3 more weeks and they still did not go away. I took it back up there and they said too much time had passed and they refused to fix it. The bubbles have now flaked off and rust has started growing. I started looking and the job that was supposed to have been done was supposed to have been like manufacturer with a clear coat. None of that was done. Also a fog light kept blowing they replaced and they refused to fix that as well. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for good quality honest work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had a minor rear bumper accident and I really appreciate the work they did on my car. The new bumper looks great, and they were able to accommodate for me picking the car up after hours which was a concern of mine. They even vacuumed my car out, all around I m very happy I went with Mike Smith Automotive!

This company is like every other collision center they lie through their teeth to get the insurance money from you and then do not hold up their work once it s been paid. They will look for any and every little excuse to deny fixing their bad work. Do yourself a favor and find another place to take your car trust me. I paid them about $7k and then They also told me I was trying to get something for nothing after they denied warranty work. Would not provide anything in writing on why they deny warranty.Service: Painting

Nothing short of amazing !!! They were tile efficient on both estimate and getting the job done. They kept me updated on everything from disassembly to repair , reassembly , final touch up and completion. I hope I m never in another accident but if I am I will recommend them to anyone.

I do not recommend using them at all. Please go somewhere else if you need repairs. Our vehicle sat 1 full week before anyone looked at no estimate or anything. Finally, when they did start things it took nearly 3 weeks before they started updating us on the status. This is a repair that we were told would take 8 days. They kept telling us the price kept going up and up for parts. We had a timeframe of 30 days for a rental car and we told them that. They said they didn t care what we had and they WILL NOT pay for any inconveniences or rentals. They finally gave us a date the car would be done and then later canceled and it got pushed back another week. My wife didn t work that day they gave to us to return the rental and pick up our car. They couldn t meet their own deadline again. The day which they gave I go to pick up the car they still tell me while I m sitting there that it isn t ready because the doors are not sealing right.Mind you we are now past the 30 day car rental period we are allowed so that too besides missing work is coming out of our pocket. All this and as of today we still don t have our car 33 days later going on 34 for a repair they told us would take 8 days!

Mike Smith will make your vehicle look brand new! You will be satisfied and you will find no flaws! They value their work and it shows. They keep you in the know... they call you with updates each time your vehicle goes to the next stage! I've never experienced better service or care. Thanks a million! I will tell all my family and friends where they need to go to have superior work done on their vehicles.

Mike Smith Automotive is an excellent company! I needed some repairs to the front bumper, hood and headlight of my car after an accident. I didn't initially choose MSA as my repair shop, but they quickly got my business after speaking with them. Their level of courtesy, politeness, customer service and positive company attitude is ultimately what won me over. The Cross on the side of their building definitely means something to them, you can tell this by how they treat people. From the time I called them inquiring about their services through the repairs and completion, they did their best to keep me informed and updated on the process, as well as any issues or delays encountered. This was done through an insurance claim, and let me just tell you...compared to the place we went to have the damage evaluated and an estimate written up by the Geico adjuster, Mike Smith blows them out of the water in all areas. If you have Geico insurance and it seems easy to just get the repairs made at the place the Geico damage adjuster inspects your vehicle and writes the estimate (which is right next door to the Geico office that the adjuster works out of), just don't. Tell the adjuster you want Mike Smith Automotive to do the work, not the repair shop who's parking lot you're likely standing in with the adjuster as he's finishing your estimate.Not only will you have beautiful results on your completed repairs, you'll have a clean car when you pick it up, and a friendly attitude from all you encounter at the business. You won't be insulted they way we were, on more than one occasion, at the other repair shop mentioned above.I had only one minor issue...the repairs were delayed which made the pickup of my car later than what was initially quoted to me. But, this was not MSA's fault. They had to order a part instead of just repairing it which made them have to get a supplemental approval from my insurance company and a check cut to them for the part. So between receiving the part and waiting on the insurance company, it caused the job to run about a week late. This was my first experience with a repair shop through an insurance claim and they didn't disappoint. I will be a repeat customer should the need ever arise.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I waited 5 weeks for them to repair my truck , I waited because that was appointment they set up . To have them tell me they could not locate the parts to do repairs.I spent 5 minutes online and found new OEM partsI Stoped at 3 auto part recycles / junk yards and also found the parts all localNow have to start the process all over againThis was a highly recommended body shopWould not recommend them ever

I just picked my car up from Mike Smith Automotive. Initially, I was given 2 estimates, one for insurance work and the second for work I was paying for out of pocket. The insurance work was completed, but the additional work was "missed". Here is my question, if their attention to detail is such that they "miss" a second estimate on the same vehicle, then how can I be assured my vehicle was completed CORRECTLY? Did they "miss" something when they were putting the parts back on? I wonder what Mr. Smith would do in a similar situation?

Avoid!! Tried twice (not once) to get estimate for damages... $25 for an estimate and then every excuse.Avoid!! Go elsewhere!! Too many options out there... will be calling USAA as well to notify of poor service.

I have dealt with a lot of body shops over the years but i gotta say if your tired of the sub-par work and hassle of dealing with other shops this is the place to go. Its done right the first time plus a life time guarantee on all work that was performed. Doesn't get much batter than that. Thanks again Mike,Matt,Cindy,Ronald and every one else that worked on my 2017 Mustang.

Have new 4 door truck that got hit in passenger side. They installed two new door shells with original internal parts. Rear door would not unlock when I picked up truck . I have took it back two times and it still doesn't unlock. Very inconvenient when my family is standing n rain and all have to get in on other side. Very very upset!!!!!

I was warned about using this shop and now I wish I had listened!!! Nothing but problems and bad attitudes when dealing with these people!! They will over charge you, pad up the expenses and turn out subpar work. When you bring it to their attention, they get real pissy. Go somewhere else, folks.
