Waited 2 years to do this review. Paint has been good. I ve only seen it chip in one spot quite a bit of orange peel, but they really do overspray the paint and did a bad job at taping off when they spray primer my radiator was painted red along with the frame and a bunch of my trim was over sprayed with the gray primer. I also had some rivets removed from the bottom side of the door, bed and fenders running down the whole truck that used to hold on the trim. They did a great job at removing the rivets and covering it up like it was never there.Other than that, I like the paint job they did just wish they didn t paint everything else like the radiator and frame, etc. but you get what you pay for. I recommend this place if you want a quick cheap paint job don t go here if you want a nice paint job for a good vehicle.

Maaco Auto Body Shop in Dothan, Alabama painted my Honda Pilot, 2013 model to refresh the look of an older vehicle with plenty of miles to go. Most pleased with the efforts and experience at this Maaco shop. My friend in Donalsonville, Georgia suggested Maaco and the suggestion paid off 100%.My second vehicle, 2008 Mini Cooper was side swiped by a truck. Maaco saved its day by coming under the maximum limit of repair cost.Both vehicles look fantasticly serviced and painted by Maaco in Dothan, Alabama. I could not be more pleased.Also, very business like and friendly Maaco representative, Bobby Tucker, with a super sense of humor- who I respectfully call - Stinkweed earned an A+ fo4 all his efforts to please.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Used them to do some minor body work on 2001 Chevy Silverado and then a full body paint job. They completed the work as promised for the amount of the estimate. Very happy with the work. It looks great. Very friendly customer service. I would do business with them again.

They're very busy like everyone else. Had to schedule several weeks out, but it was worth the wait. Had them replace lights, and the truck looks new again.Sorry, I didn't think about before pictures, so I won't bother with after pictures. Suffice to say, looks brand new.

I was mislead multiple times on when my bumper repair and paint job would be done. It took over a month for something that was initially told to be 3 weeks. It took us calling up there MULTIPLE times and getting ugly with them before they actually started trying to get it done. When I did finally get to come pick it up, there were still metal pieces on the bumper that were supposed to be taken off, which there were going to just leave on there unless I said something, and on top of that now my headlight doesn t work that was working when I brought it in . No idea how they messed that up but they did not fix it before I left. Also, I had a color change of paint on my car, paid extra to get the door jams to match the body of the car, but you can still see the original color so that was a waste.

For a $400 paintjob, Tony at Macco did an awesome job! Not to mention, they repaired a major dent that I thought would not be able to be restored fully for an unbeatable price. You try to make a car look this good for only $400 is all I'm saying! It turned out great.

Road construction debris shredded my rear, driver side tire. Incident occurred at 70 miles per hour on Interstate 10. Nearly 100% of the tire tread was shed under the wheel well and dislodged onto the roadway, leaving unseen damage to the bumper and to the sensors connected to the bumper.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I have decided to wait a while to post my feedback, around 2 years ago today I brought my truck to Maaco of Dothan, because everyone else in the wiregrass wanted over 8,000 to paint my truck, I got another shop to do the body work, such as some rust repair and some small dents. Maaco went above and beyond my expectations, even found and fixed a dent that the other shop didn t see!, I went for their highest package and best quality paint, which Maaco did a full color change to plum crazy purple and painted all the door jams, and even behind my filler flap!!!, and masked off all the stickers!, I did take some things off myself to make it easier for these guys, like front and rear bumpers and some trim. Just so I knew they wouldn t get overspray on them, they did get some on the door panels put I was able to get it off very easy, there is no overspray anywhere else, it s held up great in 2 years, and I expect it to last a lot longer than that, thank you Maaco of Dothan!Service: Painting

Got a truck painted and they painted the bed, the bed caps and left about an 1 inch strip on the inside of the bed where it meets the spray in bed liner. Guess since it's the "inside" they would want another $150. Other that that I am pleased!

This is the 2nd vehicle I've had painted here. They did a good job. There was a mix up on one of the two-tone colors but they were very easy to work with on getting it straightened out.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Bad job! Mr Bobby and I walked around my car and I showed him the only tiny dent on the hood to fix, he wrote it down on his paper. I chose a paint color. He said door jams are $150 extra each. I no way, that's to much. When they painted the car there was over sray everywhere. I wasn't pleased at all. They didn't do what they said they would do. Paint spots all in the car. On the steering wheel, doors, dash, door jams, seat belt, on the carpet trim, and arm rest. I took 2 hours with soap and water removing all the paint inside. The bumper had over spray, I had to clean it too. The chrome was with over spray too. Needless to say I was not satisfied. He didn't even fix the tiny dents like he said he would. Most of the time a job is $500 or so right? No way, it was $1600, what?? No way. I would not advise anyone to go there. Bad jod!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

What work they did was great. It was what was missed that is upsetting. The customers are not given a check sheet of what options they want done. I do not understand what is so hard to grasp of a complete color change.They asked if I wanted the door jams done, check, ah yeah COMPLETE.The tech told me after pick up that the tailgate area was not included in quote. Ok, how about rear bumper. Was never asked about under hood.Truck is being taken back tomorrow morning.

I am very satisfied with Maaco. They were so respectful. I went to another body shop in this town and to get an estimate, and went to Maaco and saved six hundred dollars, for the same work. I have been cheated by a couple of shop's and because I am a female they cheated me out of my money. (As if they have no female's in their family) But at Maaco those guys did a good job and show me their prices and what they were going to do. Thanks Maaco team in Dothan Alabama.Service: Painting

I had my hood repainted...The paint had alot of trash in it...I took it back and they tried to buff it out and it didn't work...I paid 700 hundred dollars for the paint job...I am not at all happy with it..I took it back and yall did not make it right..so why would I waste another day...I live an hour away!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Paid to have my entire truck painted (looks amazing) BUT there was a small ding on my door that was already there and instead of them calling me to ask if I wanted them to fix it, they just painted over it. You can clearly still see it even after it s been painted so I paid $2500.00 to get my entire truck painted only to get it back STILL less than perfect because someone was too lazy to pick up the phone and ask me. Why would I pay that much to have my truck painted and WANT the ding left in the door??Service: Painting

Had my 4runner repainted there. It took 30 days to get done. We got the Poly + intergrated clear. The paint job came out pretty good for a full repaint even after having the hood and roof completely sanded down to bare metal. We had a few runs and they needed a few more days to fix them. I would give 5 stars but the overspray on the under body was horrendous. I had to buy cans of spray paint to paint the frame and wheel wells black again. Overall a good experience though. Shop manager was very nice and helpful. This paint job was $1500 (we had extra costs for dents and large suv) . At any other shop this would have been over $2500~$3000. I would do it again.Side note....Poly + Intergrated clear is not as shine as a base coat clear coat paint job, but it can be very close after a wet sand and buffing.Service: Painting

I keep damaging my truck and maybe I'll eventually get the entire thing painted..... One panel at a time....UpdateWell look at that I did it.Hit three deer at the same time and got a new paint job,2 fenders 1 Radiator a hood and a grill. Now all I need is a Grill guard, preferably ranch hand.

I personally have had four vehicles painted at the Dothan shop. I appreciate the fact that a wide range of services are offered and levels of automotive paint services are available. Made my wife's 17 year old minivan look new again and not so embarrassing to service at the dealer. Originally I provided them body parts to replace but they pointed out the defects I never noticed after purchasing several months before online. It was cheaper to let Maaco order from their suppliers than to try and repair, thus guaranteeing a better quality. Trust them to do it in the first place. Even after the extra work, Maaco still completed the job a lot cheaper than what was quoted elsewhere. Although this review is about a week and a half after job completion and not sure how long the look would last, I would like gladly have them touch up or repaint in the next several years if I need it.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
