Got a flat tire on 231. A gentleman(thank you) in a grey truck helped me change the tire. Since we are not from around here, he suggested we go to Jim Whaley Tire to get it fixed. We got to the tire shop, and they saw we had our grandkids in the car, and they got on it right away. What great service and friendly people. I would recommend this tire shop to everyone. Thank you!

I'm leaving this review here bc there doesn't seem to be a way to contact the corporate office or leave a general review for the company as a whole. I'm going to keep trying to get the corporate contact info. Bc i really want to speak with them about this. Here's the issue: I called 4 different JW stores, 3 in Dothan and the Eufaula store to price tires. I got 4 different prices for the same size tire. I told each store I wanted the cheapest they could get in that particular size and got 4 differing prices, ranging from $137 to $173 per tire (that's a big difference when buying 4 tires). None of the stores had them in stock and I was told that all the JW stores ordered from the same warehouse, so why aren't the prices the same? Something's not right here and it seems a bit dishonest. I mean, if you go to any McDonald's the burgers cost the same, any Walmart, the items cost the same or very close, etc. See my point: if all these stores are pulling from the same warehouse the price should be the same. For this reason, I'm not doing business with this company.

I made a huge mistake going to Sam's Club for new tires a few months ago!!I've always used Jim Whaley's and I'm not going to ever use anyone else again but Jim Whaley's!!!If you ever need, "The best service ever, Go to Jim Whaley's!!! " Awesome staff!!

There's absolutely no one I trust more to work on my car and keep my family safe when we're on the road. They constantly go above and beyond to satisfy concerns and maintain an honest, reliable environment for their customers. Because of people like Randy and Joseph, my family and I will always come to them for our service needs.

Very friendly and quick! I drove to Alabama from Miami and had a problem with the connection to my car battery. They replaced the terminals and fixed the wires in no time and were very reasonably priced!

I am on a trip from Panama City and my car was making some noise. I called, explained what was up, and Randy said to come by. He and the team with him were honest, helpful, and provided a quick diagnostic free of charge. My visit was pleasant and provided a huge peace of mind. Thank you guys so much for all your help!

Quick and painless tire fix. Had a screw removed, tire repaired, and out the door in less than an hour. Friendly staff as well as good coffee. I recommend Jim Whaley.

This place always gets all our business. It's a shame today that a tech would use such very foul language like he did today loud enough for everyone to hear. If you need someone to move their Truck how about going and ask the owner too move instead of handling it in a very unprofessional way. I truly hope this buisness does not put up with this kind of behavior. This is the first time this has happened in all our years of using them.

Made an appointment to bring my wife s truck in for 4 new tires I waited four hours for them to put the tires on and when they finally got them on, the guy had put white letters out after I explicitly said put white letters in I elected to just take the car and go. Will never go back!

We had the best experience with this business. We discovered we had a nail in our tire while staying in Dothan on our way to Florida. We called and Randy told us to come right away. They had our tire fixed and we were back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Super helpful and kind!

How can I say true lifesavers. I needed a tire real bad. It was almost 6 and I knew I couldn t get an appointment at Mercedes that quick and I called Tuffys and they wouldn t take me until Saturday. These hardworking gentleman pulled my car right up and fixed my tire in no time. I can not thank them enough. They were personable knowledgeable & fast. I would recommend taking your car here they get the job done right!

Honest people work here.Absolutely amazing. My wife contacted this business to have them diagnose what was going on with her car. After getting a tire from another local tire dealer the ride quality was horrible. After a day there was a lot of noise coming from the front of her car. The tire that was replaced was put on the back. A worker of Jim Whaley tires told my wife to leave it at her place of work and said they would pick it up in the morning. The next day after picking her car up they found that some of the bolts on the front driver side were loosened. They could have taken advantage of the situation but they didn't. We will never be going to another place for vehicle needs ever again. The honesty of the employees that work here has made us lifelong customers.

I have bought tires, gotten front end alignments, and other repairs on my several vehicles over the past five years. Always good work at reasonable price, but, they don't accept checks!!!!!

The crew at this location went above and beyond in helping my family get back on the road. While traveling home from a Florida vacation, our vehicle developed a sticking brake caliper. They were only open for 20 more minutes when we arrived. Yet, they worked on our vehicle for at least a half hour past closing to get us going. All this and a super respectable price!A++++ Service

They did a good job replacing our tires but the man at the desk didn't seem to like me at all, which was weird because I was very polite and was about to girl over nearly $1000 for his services. I'm pretty sure he was the manager. Overall professional, just not very friendly to me, like he didn't want to deal with a woman. We also waited like 4 hours, which was more than expected.

People were nice. Got charged for a service they did not perform. ( It's their policy). Did not have rotors turned- instead bought new ones. Still charged for having them turned.. had problem after new rotors put on.. they did check the issue and then tried to sell us new calipers which would be $258 on the almost $400 we had already spent .

I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants a fair price. I called in and was given a quote and an hour timeline. Brought the vehicle in. First, I and my family waited 20 minutes in our vehicle until someone came to get it. Asked again to confirm the price when they took it back. Then we waited in the waiting room for an hour and forty minutes for them to get it done and charge us DOUBLE the quoted price. Instead of getting upset and acting out in front of customers, I paid quietly and asked to see the clerk in private to discuss the matter. Maybe I should have acted a fool in front of the full waiting room so that they refunded part of my bill. They wouldn t budge. If the price was set as such that is fine. However to quote a price two times and then charge double is absurd. They will absolutely not get our business again.

You may want to make sure, your managers that receives the customers at the counter are personable, friendly, and kind. First impressions sets the tone for your whole business,from start to finish. Great customer service starts with the boss, the supervisors, and managers, etc etc

My son took my jeep in for an alignment this morning. Unfortunately, he had to go to work right after. He tells me my jeep is still pulling. Once he gets home we examine the jeep and nothing at all was done. You can tell by the bolts and threads that nothing was moved at all but yet I was charged $105 for an alignment! For what???? Very disappointed!!!

Nice and friendly people. Got my new tire put on in about 30 minutes which was really nice. A little more expensive than other places but they had the tire I needed in stock.

Fast service even without an appointment. Reasonable charge for fixing my flat even though the tires came on my car and were not purchased from them.

Jim Whaley's always does it right and always at good prices. Being a customer for 15+ years - they've never steered me in the wrong direction! If you were doubtful of going here you shouldn't be. Do be prepared for a long wait time as they are generally very busy whenever I have gone. For an oil change, tires rotated and balanced, and filters checked took over an hour (let me reiterate that that is IF they are busy). I would recommend dropping your car off if you can and let them call you when it is done. I recommend anyone and everyone I can to go to them!

I showed up on Saturday 10/05/19 pulling a loaded tandem axle trailer with a bad bearing. I dealt with the service manager on duty and one of the mechanics. (Sorry I do not remember their names.) But they took what I thought was going to be a trip into hell trying to get this trailer fixed on a Saturday but these two turned it into a pleasant experience. The service manager was kind and helpful and between him and the mechanic they were able to get me back on the road in a relativity short amount of time.

Good service does go a long way. These guys are awesome. Friendly, quick service. And it s always done right the first time. Outstanding group of hard working folks!
