The team at Harold's know their craft, offer good service at a fair price and are a pleasant group of guys. Over the years, my husband and I have taken our vehicles in for service or evaluations. We recommend Harold's.

Had my car towed to them for a jerk. They done unnecessary transmission work of 2500 dollars, put 400 miles on my car would never tell me what was going on, hung the phone up on me and my car still has a jerk. Never use these people. If they were real mechanics they would have been honest and said it's not your transmission. And they certainly would not have driven my car 400 miles knowing it was still doing the same thing. WARNING,BEWARE!

Bunch of crooks!!!!!!! Do not let these people touch your vehicle! They will keep your car for weeks, run up your mileage driving it for personal use, and then not fix the issue. I paid a large sum of money to have my transmission fixed, then when I finally got it back, it has the same problem. I crawled under the car and the transmission has no variation of dirt/grime on the bolts. It was never removed!!!! Now they won t call me back!! Crooks!

My son's transmission went out the week before he turned 16 right after Christmas and before New Years. They quoted me a fair price and the speed of the service was exceptional. I picked the truck up on New Years Eve and had to go to work. I had a little problem with the starter and Mr. Harold and one of his mechanics drove to where I work in the rain that night and got me fixed. He told me to bring the truck in and have them check over it again since he did have to come on site. I haven't done that yet because of my work schedule but they are professional, timely, and I have no doubt if we do have any problems they will make it right.Service: Transmission repair

Harold and his staff were great to work with. They quoted me a fair and reasonable price and that is exactly what I paid. They returned my vehicle to me in excellent condition and it shifts much better than it ever has even before it started giving trouble. / 9 months and 5000 miles later this transmission is still working perfectly.

My check engine light came on my car due to the torque converter module going bad, Harolds was recommended by a parts store so I took my car in and they quickly replaced the module which then indicated that my torque converter was slipping so they fixed it as well they were very professional and the nicest people youll ever meet and did everything they could to fix the problem and they did. I highly recommend them. A++ Thank you!

I called 8 different shops around Dothan and Harold was the most reasonably priced. I waited for a few days before I made my decision on which shop to take my car to. Well, one day leaving work, my throw-out bearing completely fell apart and the pedal hit the floorboard. It was fifteen after five PM, but I called the shop anyway hoping someone would answer the phone. I was shocked when Harold answered the phone. (He must of forwarded his business phone to his cell) Harold had already left for the day, but offered to turn around to meet me at the shop. He even waited with me until my wife got to the shop to pick me up. One day later and my car was out of the shop and driving like new again!I would recommend Harold and his crew to anyone with clutch or transmission problems. He is a great guy!

They will rip you off! Complete transmission rebuild but the car still had the same issues, with 500 miles driven on it!

This is one of the best if not the BEST Transmission shops in Dothan. They are friendly, professional and honest. When other shops told me this and that was the problem and were about to sucker me out of money, Harolds was honest and got my car fixed for half the price and it drove like new! As for the previous review given by Tam B. I don't know many Transmission Shops that work on your car without payment up front and this shop has NEVER given me or anyone else i know back a car that didnt drive like new! Besides who pays for and drives a car for 7 months that isnt fixed.... I smell a rat!

Very quick on getting my truck repaired even though ups couldnt get my part on the right truck. Mr Harold went to atlanta over the weekend to get the part. Very friendly and true to their word company. Would recommend highly.

have had more than one transmission rebuild by harold and his team. never had one problem. but i know from years of doing business with them that if there was a problem they would handle it. just first class people.

ON MY INITIAL VISIT MR. HAROLD WAS REALLY NICE BUT UPON MY RETURN I HAD TO DEAL WITH HIS SON AND HE WAS REALLY REALLY RUDE I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN.
