Took our 2017 Silverado to Zack and Gary for a transmission rebuild. They were so professional yet so down to earth. No wonder they have been in business for 45 years. Zack rebuilt our transmission in two days! I highly recommend Dothan Transmission!! I will never go anywhere else. Larry and I feel like we have made friends for life. I would give them 10 stars if I could !

I called and talked to Zack thinking I needed a transmission. He had me bring it in. When I arrived he met me with a handshake and a smile and said let s look at your truck. He diagnosed that my transmission was not bad and that I had another issue.(which he does not perform) He advised me of another local shop that I could use. I went here expecting to have to replace my transmission. He did not have to tell me that my transmission wasn t the problem. He didn t even charge me for the diagnosis. I would highly recommend Zack and Dothan transmission to anyone. Their character and honesty were tested and they passed with flying colors!! Please do business with this family owned and operated business. Thank you Zack and Dothan transmission!!!

Zach and Gary are some of the best in the automotive industry took multiple vehicles to them over the years had a truck on one occasion was concerned with how it was running as it was under powered with slow shifts and a shutter Zach was more than happy to drive it and was more than honest and told me transmission was fine to do a full tune up most guys in the business are in it for the money not these they take pride in bein honest upfront individuals that stand behind what they do and say would highly recommend!

Hands down the best automotive shop that exist! Gary and Zack are experienced and knowledgeable of all auto situations. Done business with them on several occasions and personally wouldn't let anyone else work on my vehicles. Great customer service and always completed in a timely manner! My transmission was almost completely busted and these guys got it entirely repaired and good as new in only a couple of days. They even fixed my car's rattle! I want everyone to know what a great experience I had at this shop. Gary and Zack both went above and beyond to make sure the transmission in my 2004 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was rebuilt with the best components, and to a higher standard than even factory specs; in fact, Zack took care of some other issues he found when he removed the transmission! I am so happy with the way she was returned to me, and in such a timely fashion as well; my car has never shifted better! Thanks so much to Gary, Zack, and Dothan Transmission!

These guys are awesome. They got me back in my Tahoe within 2 or 3 days. Very friendly and great customer service. I highly recommend these guys.

This guys rebuild the transmission of my Silverado 2500 and did a very good job. Invoice was very detailed and reasonable, and truck was done within two days. They worked previously an a Ford Bronco and a Chevy Suburban for me, and I can highly recommend them.

I just want to share my experience in January 2019. I took my van in because it felt like my transmission was slipping, so I was just sure I needed to have the transmission rebuilt. So I took it to dothan transmission and the same day he called to tell me that I just needed a tune up. They did the tune up and I have had no problems since. I say all of this to say they really could have taken advantage of me and said they rebuilt my transmission when in fact they did not, which would have cost me 1000 s of dollars. So I will always recommend dothan transmission to anyone needing transmission work. I am thankful for their honesty and integrity.

On my way to Georgia I noticed my new car was not shifting right, thinking maybe it was all in my head but thought better safe than sorry. Was told from a gas station to go to Dothan transmission . The man there took my car for a test drive and I said yes my transmission was definitely slipping gave me a form I neededto get my transmission replaced for free as it was still under warranty knowing he was not going to get that job because I had to take it back to the dealership he still did all this for me free very rare these

These guys did an absolutely amazing job on rebuilding my transmission. They knew my truck was a service truck and although they quoted me 4 days to completion it was actually a little less than 2.

They were unable to work on our truck because they don't deal with Jasper transmissions. The man we spoke with was considerate enough to recommend another transmission repair shop.

Very honest people, great diagnostics, can rebuild transmissions, not a transmission changer but skills for rebuilding a transmission to work like a new transmission. Reasonable cost as well.
