I recently brought my car to Lynn Layton Ford for service and repairs for the second time, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I had a very good experience with Lynn Layton Ford. My salesman, Scott Fuller, was knowledgeable about the vehicles, frank about pros and cons of the various models and an all around nice guy! Jack in finance was very thorough, quick to process forms and patient with my questions. There was no endless wait to sign the many forms. Very accommodating and considerate people that I dealt with.I would definitely use them again!

All of the staff were very courteous and the waiting room was nice and clean. My oil change service didn't go so well. I live in Madison and chose to drive 20 miles one way for my first oil change in my new truck. Glen was very nice and got me in and the oil change was done in around 1 hour. So far so good. I get back home and look at the paperwork to find that the truck was filled with 9 quarts of 5-W20. Two problems here, the truck calls for 5-W30 and the capacity is 7.7 quarts. I called Glen and he confirmed that the truck was filled with the incorrect oil and invited me to come back to get it corrected. I drove back 20 miles and Glen gets me back right away for them to change the oil and filter again. I get home and the oil is overfilled by at least 1 quart. Instead of driving back again, I just drained the extra quart out myself to get it to the correct level. In hindsight I should have just performed the oil change myself. Needless to say I was very disappointed in my first experience with Lynn Laton Ford service.

Our service writer was nice. But it took over an hour just to get two tires mounted and balanced. And also the tech that was going to do the alignment was unsure of how to make the adjustments to the car. I was asked to return the next day for the alignment because I was told that it would take a little more time to perform the necessary adjustments on my vehicle. But I will use another alignment shop for this

This place is absolutely great!! They went above and beyond to help me get my car ready for my trip. Got new tires, oil change, alignment, new break pads and front rotors.They searched until they located the rotors and got them in and finished the same day! Car drove like a dream. Never had anyone care so much about my safety and doing things right. This will be my go to place for all my car needs from now on. Awesome group of people!!

I always drive from Huntsville to the Decatur dealership for service because of the amazing staff there. I dropped off my corporate car on Monday for service, and they offered a loaner vehicle so that I wouldn t have to rent a car. They called on Tuesday to say my vehicle was ready as I was working out of town Tuesday and Wednesday, I had to ask if it was okay to bring the loaner back and pick mine up on Thursday they were absolutely fine with that! These guys are amazing and I couldn t be a bigger fan!

They were very through and kept me informed most of thetime. My only complaint is how long I had to wait. I got there at 9:30am and left at 3:20pm. The only thing they did was put on four new tires as far as I know. They did have to address my reason for taking the car to them, which they did, but they had to order a part to fix that. I appreciate their attention to details. I will go back next week or so once the part comes in. I definitely will seek their help in the future!!! I want to Thank all the people that took care of my car!!! All in all, it was a pleasant experience!!!

Windshield was not ordered on time. Nobody knew status of my vehicle. Had to wait 30 minutes for fluid to be added. Wasn t ready. Shop empty but nobody seemed in gear. Quite disappointed because I made adequate arrangements ahead of time. I expect more from Lynn Layton.

Awesome experience!! After a sub-par experience at the Chevy service department, Mr. Layton was a man of his word and got my car seen and fixed expeditiously!! Jim at Quick Lane was the best!! I'd definitely go back!!

Took my car in late on Tuesday afternoon 11/28, they did the diagnostic test, called me this morning to tell what was wrong! The gentleman gave me a price that included tax and labor! After I gave the go ahead, my car was ready at 12:30 same day! Excellent service and very polite! I can highly recommend Lynn Layton Ford!!

Great mechanics! Got my car fixed but the only thing I didn t like is when they tell you that you have to set an appointment and than the appointment was like 2weeks later, and for them to tell me they haven t touched my car in two daysssss but other than that, great place was affordable.

Feel like I was over charged. When they said they couldn t get hoses for a week I helped them find Motorcraft hoses nearby for $129 and then they charged me $220 for them. Then $395 labor to install 2 heater hoses with quick connections and a serpentine belt. Shouldn t have taken longer than 90 minutes including test drive. Total $718 seemed awful steep.

I stopped by to have them look at a tire that seem to have a slow leak. They went ahead and repaired it without informing me of the cost or asking me if I was OK with it. I was very tight for time, but wanted to get the tire looked at. I don t mind staying a little bit to get a tire patched but when I could ve gone down the road, not even half a block and gotten it done for free and it felt very sketchy. The technician himself was very sweet. However, the sales person felt sketchy.Service: Tires

I drive from East Limestone to this dealer for service in my Ford truck and van. They have always been straight up with me about what is going on with my vehicle. Sometimes I get the recommended work done somewhere else because of cost but I trust these guys completely.

I had a safety recall that needed fixed. I recently had surgery and am not cleared to drive, and was very excited to find they do mobile service and thankfully the issue I needed resolved could be completed via the mobile service at no charge to me. They told us they could get our truck in before Thanksgiving if we could drop it off before leaving town, which we did. They put it right in the bay. Saved us some time since they didn't have any openings after that until mid December. We left the truck with them and it was finished when we got home. I guess.The reason I say that is that the service department didn't answer any of my calls, and took two days to respond to a voicemail. I've always felt that if a business is too busy to answer the phone, they should respond by close of business, or at least the next morning.

My 2023 F150 s rear passenger window locked in the down position yesterday around 2:00pm. I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out a solution to no avail. I called Lynn Layton Ford here in Decatur, Al and explained my situation. The service team told me to bring right down and they would be able to get the window back up and locked but would not be able to fix until parts came in (which I was fine with). It took me 20 minutes to get there. When I pulled up they were waiting on my truck. I went, sat in the lobby enjoying a really old cowboy show on the TV. The service girl called me after 30 minutes and said I was ready. I asked if they would call when the parts came in to fix, and she said they had the motor switch for the driver door in stock and I was ready to go at no charge. I had electrical failure on my new truck and it was repaired and I was on my way in under 1-1/2 hours. Unbelievably GREAT service!! Thanks Lynn Layton!Service: Electrical repair

This is more of a Complaint on Ford then the dealership. I ordered a key fob and the picture and description showed a new blank key with it. When I drove over an hour to pick it up, have it programmed and have the key cut there was no key blank. Now another purchase and another hour drive when it arrives. The dealer was able to program the fob with minimal wait while I was there. The Parts dept was as surprised as I was that the blank was not included.

It was fine. The technician was unable to top off my DEF tank. I suspect their drum was empty.Everything else was as it should have been.

I m from SWLA and broke down in Decatur on my way home from KY. They helped me get a a tow truck bc I was pulling a 40 trailer and could not get one the night before. The service advisor, Jim Miller, was very straightforward about how busy they were but would do what he could to get me back on the road.
