Best place for breakfast on the island, that you don't know about. We just happened to stop in, and learned they had a grill going. Pretty good food too. Definitely inline for prices, as any other place there.

I have only gotten breakfast biscuits here, never even tried anything else. It s a really good brisket. Ok let s not raise expectations, it s a tiny, cluttered, dated, gas station with one table outside. but I do look forward to their breakfast before heading to the beach. It s interesting to think that a gas station breakfast is part of my DI tradition.

I had a 20zo cup there was no price for it on the fountain drink machine but the price was on all of the other sizes cup one was a 24zo for 1.39 - 32oz 1.59- 44oz 1.79- checking out the man charged me 1.79 for the price of a 44oz I told him that s not right why did you charge me for a 44oz and then he tried to charge me 1.59 for the price of the 32oz still not right I told the young lady this is a 20 ounces and there s no price for it why is it more then the 24oz she change the price and charge $1.39 for the 20 ounce drink I reminding you I have a 20 ounce It was 139. What a small get over. That 20 ounce should ve been 1.09 be aware if you are shopping in this Chevron because I can count pay attention to the prices before you go to check out

We ate food from here a few times while we were on the island And it was actually really good, but on my last day (this past Tuesday) they served me this pork chop. I m so thankful I inspect my food because I would have been so sick on my way home. It s literally RAW not just undercooked. I think the health dept needs to make a trip to the island soon. I will say, I don t think the normal cook was there that day. Regardless, they need to update their hood system in that store. My fianc� went in and got me a water and it smelled like grease! We started calling it the grease station half way through our trip and went to circle K instead.

Great food and great service! Not your typical convenience store! Don't wait until the last day of your trip to discover this gem! Locals eat here every day! Best breakfast on the island! Big, flaky biscuits and everything to go in them! Later, a different home-cooked lunch special daily and the best pizza on the island. Hungry for a burger?!? Don't miss their "nearly famous" Island Burger and seasoned fries!They also carry a selection of Dri-Fit shirts and T-shirts with the latest designs and all of your beach needs, too. Open at 4:30 am -10 pm every day and till 11 pm on weekends in the Summer.Not sure where something is on the island? Ask inside Island Chevron and Grill. They know (or will guide you to someone who does!)

Best bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits around!Burgers are decent, I d steer clear of the chicken fingers as they re usually pretty extra dry.Friendliness is hit or miss here, but remember it is just a gas station.

My go-to every time I m on the island! Get the island burger & some fries! They will make it fresh for you and it is perfection! They also have locally made one of a kind souvenirs! Love this place

The biscuits were good but would have been better if it was hot/warm. While they serve breakfast until 10 AM, it s obvious they start shutting down breakfast around 9. Staff is not very friendly, but based on some of the comments, I can see why.

We re staying on Dauphin Island, and we were looking to get dinner somewhere one night. We decided to try the burgers and fries at the Island Chevron - and we were pleasantly surprised! Made fresh to order and very good! Reasonably priced and taste great. We had the pizza for lunch the next day, and we were happy with it as well. Don t be fooled just because this is a Chevron - the food is a good choice and the staff is super friendly and sweet. We ll be going back for more before we leave to head home. Only wish this place was an option in our town.

The store and staff are great. They have customers who come in that store are just rude to them for no apparent reason. They have rules they have to follow and they have video cameras so if they were doing something wrong they definitely would be fired. The pizza are always loaded down with cheese and all the fixings.

Island Chevron food is the worse fast food I've tasted. The fries were hard, partially burned from reheating. They should have been thrown out and new fries cooked. The onion rings tasted like they were old as well. They were saturated completely in grease. Not what onion rings should be. The only part of the meal that was actually good was the drink.There were 3 ladies working the food counter. All 3 had masks on due to covid guidelines. Only problem was none of the 3 were actually using the masks as all 3 had the masks pulled down around their throat. What good is wearing a mask around the throat going to protect anyone? Between the food and improper mask wearing it left a lot to be desired. We are here on Dauphin Island for just a few days. However, we will not be eating at Island Chevron again. Because of the food n mask issues, I can only give them 1 out of 5 stars.

Sad to say this place has gone downhill over last year or so. They used to have great food and pleasant service. Now, it's mediocre when they get the order right on the food. And although most of the cashiers were still pleasant, the store was lacking in a lot of ways. Mostly, the biggest draw back is how it seems everything that isn't in a cold case was covered in layers of grease and dust. I get it, it's a convenience store with a grill. But they could do a lot better about keeping sunglasses, electronic cords and the "doesn't move daily" items from looking like they have been there for a year or 10 and covered in nasty.PS: I ordered gator bites and got crab bites instead. Thankfully I ate one first and confirmed this before my friend with a shellfish allergy had eaten one.

My pizza was nothing less than a work of art! The young man on the phone was so polite and they were equally as nice once I came in to pick up food.

Absolutely disgusting, and I don t mean just the store but also the employees. The store is probably the most filthy store I ve went to while on the island. When we walked in they aggressively yelled we must wear a mask. When I mentioned we are vaccinated the older lady cooking response was I could not care less if your vaccinated you will wear a mask . I m assuming the mask is to protect you from the awfully filthy store and not from COVID.

Purchased a Dauphin island wind proof souvenir style lighter . It s something we do almost every year at the island we chose to go to . I end up giving to kids come Fourth of July to lite fireworks usually . It did not work when I tried it in car minutes later . I was on way to a charter trip so could not go back in and swap . Brought back next day . Staff was rude , refused to swap insisted I must have been using it on beach . we ll how do we know she rudely spouted off .This came after day 1 I got the fam some biscuits for breakfast and we all felt green 2 hours later and did so for 2 days after . Verry sad the older mouthy woman was so rude and left no room to discus. Verry disappointing the place is slowed to conduct such business . Never met island staff anaywhere who were so rude 111% truth

I'm telling you, their pizza is fantastic. Just call ahead 20 minutes before you want it. The staff is very friendly.

I stopped here April 2017 for snacks and a restroom break before heading out to the beach. After arriving at the beach I got a call from Chevron saying they had found my wallet in the restroom! They put it in their safe and held it for me until I was able to retrieve it several hours later!!I can't say enough about the friendly, kind employees that work at this Chevron!! THANK YOU!!

Whoever the lady working this morning needs to be fired! Telling customers she doesn t have to be there and us paying customers we re lucky she s there with a attitude lol I m pretty sure returning customers keep the store going. This is one local that won t be back along with many others.

Stopped by for some much needed snacks and water. Place was clean and sold a little bit of everything. Somebody is an artist there because the bathroom had some really nice murals painted on the walls.

If you love saying F Joe Biden, this is the place for you. If that offends you, do not go here. They have dog whistle Coozies at the front counter. Actually, may be worth just going in to see it for yourself. Used to love buying Boudin from them, not anymore.

Would not issue a refund, with receipt, for a dead battery less than 24 hours after it was purchased. There were no other similar batteries, and they wouldn't exchange for something else. Also, you will smell awful when you leave and will need to wash your clothes.

Best breakfast on the island!!! When you leave you will smell like fried food. The food is great though!!! I would definitely go back.

Stopped here to just get some gas and ended up getting lunch and it was better the most of the restaurants on the island and what a pleasant surprise now I have found my new go to place for breakfast and lunch
